I went to Orange Crest Dental for an emergency visit and honestly had such a great experience. I had to pay out of pocket for an extraction, but it was 100% worth it. Dr. Sheida did an amazing job numbing me; I didn't feel any pain at all, which I was really nervous about going in. Her staff, Margarita and Milgrid, were incredibly kind and took the time to explain the entire process and what needed to be done, which made everything way less stressful. They took the x-rays which normally take forever but only took a few minutes. The whole visit was quick, smooth, and very well organized. I left feeling relieved and genuinely happy with the outcome. This place caused me permanent damage, emotional distress, and gave me one of the worst experiences I've ever had at any medical office. I came in for a check up. Also having pain for my wisdom tooth, they did not treat that at all and just shaved down the WRONG tooth, that had nothing to do with what I came for I was perfectly fine just my wisdom tooth pain. stained my crown black, and in between my teeth and now the damage is permanent. They used a medication on me that should be only used for toddlers or elderly people who will teeth will fall out eventually because that medication is permanent SHOULD NOT BE USED ON PERMANENT TEETH. The crown they ruined wasn't even the tooth they were supposed to work on. I went in with a small issue and came out with a smile I'm now ashamed of. After the visit, I couldn't even smile, laugh, or talk to my friends. I felt so humiliated I didn't want to be seen in public. When I returned to get it fixed, they acted like I was the problem. The doctor, Dr. Sheida Mohammadizadeh-Zadeh, was rude, extremely unprofessional, and barely communicates in clear English. Also claimed that "I didn't nothing wrong" have it all on video. She made no effort to be kind or understanding and neither did the front desk lady, who was just as disrespectful and honestly a complete nightmare to deal with. To make matters worse, they didn't want to release my documents for the work they done on me. They just wanted me to sign random papers without explaining what it was for or why they needed it. They just pushed it in front of me and expected me to sign blindly, after already damaging my teeth. This place is the definition of a MONEY HUNGRY dental office. They do not care about you. They want to get you in and out, charge your insurance, and leave you to deal with the consequences of their mistakes. I'm not the only one I personally know others who had awful experiences here. Dr. Luna is great, I was referred to him by my wife who has been given the best dental care. It is very unfortunate that his office does not run as efficiently as he does. I was rescheduled three times because the Dr's availability did not match what had been scheduled. The office management for this practice is a total mess. I asked for confirmation that my insurance would cover the need before going in. I was called and told I had coverage, so I was finally able to go in. I got a second opinion and was told that I didn't need deep cleaning at all since my teeth have no tartar build up and that my measurements were 2's and 3's. I emailed Thursday night about needing an urgent visit because I was having a issue with a tooth that had me really concerned... like I was stressing and not being able to sleep about it. I emailed probably 20 different Dentist through an app by my insurance provider. Orange Crest Family Dental office was not only the only place to actually reach back to me, they also reached back to me what seemed like less than an hour. Lucy was able to get me seen right away. Not only that I got to see that Dr. Mohammadizadeh and her team truly care for their patients. I was able to get referred to an oral surgeon, and Lucy and the other lovely lady even reached out to them for me and set up an appointment FOR ME. They're great. Never in my life have I encountered such a rude, condescending receptionist. I was so appalled by the lack of professionalism that I just left, even though I had to request time off to be here and it is hard to find a dentist office in the local area with good reviews. But I refuse to be treated in such a way, especially by somebody that I am paying money to see. Initially, this woman (mid-40s Hispanic with long, dark hair) asked why I was in the office. I thought this was a strange question but I simply replied for a Check-Up and Teeth-Cleaning. She proceeded to ask again why I was in the office at all to check in. She stated that the pandemic was the reason why I was not allowed to fill out my paperwork in the lobby, and that I had to fill it all out in my car... okay? So I asked if they had sent me an email with the paperwork, to prevent me having to step into the lobby to pick it up in-person. And she laughed and said that there was no Internet at their office at all-- um, how does a business even operate without Internet in 2021..? So now I'm genuinely confused as to why she questioned why I would go into the lobby. Even if the protocol had been explained to me, wouldn't I have needed to enter the lobby to pick up the paperwork that was not emailed to me? So what was the issue? I understand and can appreciate having a good system in place, and optimizing systems/protocols to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. But there is such thing as a level of customer service that you need to maintain in order to run a business successfully long-term. Most people would have bit their lip and just stayed, considering that they were already there and had requested the time off. But it's very doubtful that anybody would be returning after an interaction like that. Unless that was truly their last resort. I never insisted on filling out my paperwork in the lobby. I never protested against filling it out in my car. I am genuinely baffled as to how somebody could somehow make the most meaningless, simple task so incredibly unpleasant. read more

I was advised they would only do the deep clean (which my OB will not sign off on) and said too bad otherwise. Dr is kind, thorough, great at explaining what is going on and best of all on the conservative side. You don't have to worry about her trying to do major upselling of treatments. (It seems like other dentist which shall rename nameless, upsell you on treatments that do not need to be done....like a Lumineer to cover up a cavity) I have been seeing her regularly since I moved to the area approx. 15 years ago. ***I was contacted by the new supervisor, Dominique, who asked if I could either delete or edit my review. So--I will update. Dominique started recently at this office and is trying to turn the ship around and seems genuinely concerned about doing right by their customers. She explained over the phone today that Dr. Zadeh was in the middle of a 2 hour procedure on another patient and their hygienist should not have been diagnosing/prescribing treatment without talking to the dentist first.*** I went in this last time because I was having trouble with my gums and hadn't been in in a while (pregnancies, kids, and school have taken priority and my teeth haven't given me problems since my last visit till now). I am called back by their latest hygienist. He does my x-rays, inspects them, my teeth, and gums, and tells me he'll be right back. I'm assuming he's consulting with the dentist and she's coming to evaluate me and speak to me. This has been the standard process since I stated coming here a few years ago. To my surprise, he had the receptionist come talk to me to give a quote for deep cleaning for 2 appointments at the cost of $215 each side. The dentist never came to address me before the quote was presented to me, which has never happened before. I refused service and walked out because I didn't want this guy touching my mouth at that point. I have since been seen at a different facility and no deep cleaning was recommended for me, only a regular cleaning and 1 filling. My husband was recommended for a deep cleaning at the new facility and for his entire mouth to all be done at the same time cost 1/4 of the price of the total quote I was given for both sides of my mouth. read more

Even my Insurance company advise that some dentist will insist on upgrades and procedures that aren't always necessary. After being so upset by the condescending tone of this office I contacted another one very local who took the time and explained everything pros and cons, HMO vs PPO just everything and very sweetly. They charged less for exactly the same thing which I honestly would have paid double just because they treated me like a human. My grandma has been going to this DrMohamadzadeh for a couple years since its close to where she lives. I have been keeping an eye on her for the last two years, she suggested i go to her dentist. Overall the office is nice and clean and there is plenty of parking, but thats as good as it gets. Right away the lady up front was rude and i got a vibe shes being weird with me. Then after being called in and having taken x rays right away there telling me i needed deep cleanings. I told the girl, i just had a deep cleaning last year. She said well if the insurance will pay for it lets do it. Is there a need for it, or is it cause insurance will pay for it. Took forever for the dr to come in , dont let that fake smile fool you. She too had the lady up front see if i can have a deep cleaning done, she came and told me we have to wait a couple more months. Whats the deal here. I got my cleaning , toothbrush, and figured its best to not come back. My grandma told me she goes in 4 times a here but she still does deep cleanings. Fishy as F%$K!!! Slow service even with an appointment. Friendly staff. I had my wisdom teeth out here. The procedure went okay but very systematic. Bad bleeding. I called when it was apparent something was wrong. No doctor available, no 24hr line, so call 911 if you need to. Turns out there were 4 pieces of tooth/jaw that worked their way out. It healed much faster after those got out. This place is better than not having dental care but I wouldn't recommend if you have an option. read more

I do not recommend that anyone have dental work done at Organge Crest Family Dental. At my first visit, the x-rays technician and dentist both searched has hard as they could to find a problem with my teeth. Including telling me I need to see a specialist. I asked if I could just have my teeth cleaned. I was told no, they would not clean my teeth because I needed a deep cleaning and other work done. I asked, "Are you saying I can never get my teeth cleaned if I don't do the other procedures?" I was told again they would not only clean my teeth. What they really should have said is that it's not enough money in it for them to only clean my teeth . I do not recommend anyone go to this dental office. Go across the street to the other office with a similar name; they are honest. I just completed all my dental work there 5 months ago, so I knew they were making up procedures. The only reason I came to this office is because they are covered under my new dental insurance. I would rather pay out of pocket to an honest dental office. We only get one set of adult teeth and should not let a dentist do unnecessary work on them. read more

I regret to write such bad things about my last experience. I have been going here for a year now. When I returned the receptionist had changed. Let me tell you the minute I walked in and I had not even signed in she (Lucy) started telling me we have to talk. Basically I was told that it's the patients job to call the insurance company and not the receptionist. Let me tell you I have never had any issues with my insurance and this kind of experience in any dental office. She was so unprofessional. I was so mad when I walked out. I had to turn around to check and make sure I was at the right place. I don't know what happened to the previous staff. But they where friendly and I always had a great experience with them. This has got to be the best Dental office I have ever used... my son who is 4 years old was the worst patient and they were so patient and loving... I wish I could post the video of how they calmed him down, they held his hand, talked with him, used soft assured him it was going to be fast... I was thinking he wasn't going to be able to get his cavities fixed... but they got it done even with his squirming.
