I used to think highly of this Dental Office, but since Dr. Kent left, it has gone downhill. Now, you can expect to get harassed for deep cleanings that the insurance company barely pays anything for (if at all). When you "sign documents" at the front counter, you have to take their word on what you're signing since you are only given a magnetic pen pad to sign with as the staff member describes what you're signing for. Estimates are done on paper, they expect you to sign them, even if you're not interested in getting the work done. In short, buyer beware. read more

My husband had found an amazing Dentistry practice through his work insurance and I was blessed with the opportunity to keep the amazing providers that he chose for our family after his passing. I grew up with not the best dental care. And found myself struggling with Postpartum depression. Add a ridiculous amount of energy drinks to survive grave yard shifts and parenthood, while not taking care of me. Let's just say the state of my teeth was horrible. If you know me personally you know that I'm chatty with the love to laugh and make others laugh. I felt self conscious about my smile. How would you feel if- you called the body shop and said you had a busted front windshield, pieces are missing, can you get me in today, and they said sure we can get you in at 9 or 11.You look at your schedule and you have an important meeting at 9 and something even more important at 12:30. Considering the windshield is busted, you cancel whatever's goin on at 9, to make sure you don't miss the super important 12:30, right? You get there at 9. They get you in. Around 9:30 they tell you that they checked out the car. They noticed it hasn't been washed in awhile, so they are washing it and don't have time to fix the busted window today. Can I come back tomorrow for that? Um... If I wanted my car washed, I would have come when convenient, not cancelled an important meeting. Furthermore, if I knew I had to get my car washed before you fixed my busted window, I would have known that could have been done at 11, no problem and I would still make it to my 12:30 on time for sure. TIP: make sure if you are going in for emergency work confirm your appt is actually FOR the emergency, not so they can bill your insurance for cleaning your teeth. read more

The hygienist, Amanda, gave me the best cleaning I've ever had, and taught me more about my teeth than I have ever known before. I have kaiser delta dental; most of their referrals were like prison dentists who tried to gouge me for things I didn't need. This office is an oasis of peace, calm, and reason. Worst dental experience I have ever had. On July 6 2021 at 4 pm I had an appointment to see dr kent for a "Right Side Upper Wisdom Tooth" extraction. dr kent pulled off the WRONG wisdom tooth. To make matters worse the office agreed to see me 2 days later on July 8 2021 at 2 pm, hours before the visit an office person named Maria called to CANCEL the appointment due to an emergency the dr was having. So, they sent me to a different dental office in Moreno Valley. The appointment was at 1:30 pm I showed up at 1:04. At 1:45 there were no patients in the lobby and I'm the only one there. So I walked up to the front desk and they told me they were still waiting for more info from the other dentist office. So I just walked out. DO NOT GO TO THESE dentists. read more

I have been a patient at this dental office for years. Dr Rouhe, Sugianno, and some of the other dentists I have been treated by have been good to great, and Carol the office manager I can't say enough good about her. But alas they are gone and the office has gone way downhill. I visited the office this year for an emergency (infected tooth and great pain) and the treatment I received was a horror show. While removing the infected tooth they broke off the one next to it! Had to remove that one too! They couldn't get the teeth numb and I was literally in tears, never experience this much pain before. To make matters worst the insurance billing was completely messed up, and I ended up paying a bunch out of pocket, and then was incorrectly billed for even more money, so I got in touch with my insurance and had to go back and forth on the billing. After an audit was done in their office they retracted the bill and "corrected' it, then sent me another incorrect bill for the original amount saying it was past due, (same original incorrect bill) . I have vowed to never set foot in that office again. Please be careful if you do go in there, incompetence in the dental treatment, pain, and incorrect billing as well, they tell you one thing then bill another. read more

Carol always has all forms that need to be completed ready for you when you arrive; furthermore an answer to what ever questions you may have. Our dentist: Dr. Muller (pediatric) and Dr. Chilson (general dentist) are absolutely amazing. The dentist can be a scary place for children however Dr. Muller makes each visit enjoyable and educational each time my children are seen. They also leave with a ballon and goody bag. Dr. Chilson is very knowledgeable about dentistry he's very kind. Lastly, our hygienist Wendy amazing! She gentle, accommodating, and sweet nature, explaining each step and she moves along during your cleaning. Was a very nice office (much better than my old dentist), clean and the hygienist that did my cleaning was extremely thorough and very gentle. My husband was in excruciating pain. I called the office because they are close by. The receptionist said come over now!! We'll get him right in! They examined him, x-rayed and found that he had cracked a tooth in half. He needed a root canal and crown. Dr Kent took care of it all right then! This was our first time to this office. Riverside Dental Woodcrest does it again . I called because I had awful radiating pain . I was luckily able to get in same day , this will vary for others - I was just lucky to get in . But it was great from start to finish . Dr. Kent genuinely care about the pain I was going through and was able to take care of it and send me to a specialist. After my procedure he even called me the day of to check on how I was , I don't think I have ever received that from any other dentist I have been to. All the other staff Wendy , Adriana and Elizabeth were friendly , professional and were sympathetic. I definitely would recommend this location because they truly care and are authentic! read more

They did not give us the option to NOT sedate out 3 year old. I changed my mind about sedating him because of the risk of death, although it is rare. The support staff was very short with me, and rude in figuring out options other than sedation. We found another dentist who would work with us.. mainly doing the work in more than one appointment and only using a small amount of nitrous oxide if necessary. If sedation is a concern for you don't waste your time here. read more

Examples: choking on my drilled tooth pieces, not numb enough & made to feel like I was a pest for wanting to breathe & to not feel the drill & like something was wrong with me for needing to be numbed more... , crown didn't fit properly, I was in pain for months, went back a couple times to "fix" it.. never happened.., I had overheard Dr. Rouhe in the next room getting upset with another patient because the other patient said Dr. Rouhe did the wrong tooth, & he's still hurting.. Dr. Rouhe "jokingly? angrily?!" said that he wouldn't use numbing to do the proper tooth this time...!! poor patient!! poor me!! I was waiting in the next room to have him "fix" my crown again due to pain... again!! I left as fast as I could saying "everything felt fine.. gotta go now!!!" NEVER went back!! The Dr. is older and his hands are shaky as well... NOT a comfortable feeling when he's holding a needle.. or/and a drill near your face... *shivers!!* needless to say, I do not recommend this dentist. read more

When I read the other review, I was shocked because my family and I like Dr. Rouhe. He takes very good care of me. I had my root canal done last week and he gave me a shot to numb me and even asked if I felt the pain when he drilled my teeth before continuing further. I said I felt it and he gave me more. I liked that he tried to connect with me by having a conversation with me rather than wanting to get me in and out of the office quickly. He was also very patient with me because my parents and I were going back and forth about doing the root canal since we're financially struggling. He's a great dentist. read more
