I love the fact that it is open 24 hours a day. Since I am so busy I can show up at the gym at 9 in the morning or 11 at night. Their hours cater to me and not the other way around. What I love most about this gym besides the positive environment is that the staff truly do go out of their way to help you meet your goals. When I had started I had taken the summer off from working out and I was a disgusting mess. I was fat, sweaty, and I looked like I belonged in a pig pit on a farm sunning myself instead of trying to get fit and better myself. I had almost cancelled my membership the first day but the staff at Anytime convinced me to stick with it. Best of all, Anytime's staff looked at me with respect and dignity instead of seeing me as somebody who was one Cinnabon away from a diabetic shock. I have never had that kind of motivation in my life. Now I am a lean, clean, musclebound machine benching 200 lbs and going nowhere but up. As far as the general atmosphere of the place. It is clean and well maintained. When a machine is malfunctioning the staff is wonderful at being prompt and fixing it. The other gym goer's are also some of the most friendly people who I have met in my life. This gym truly is for people who want a positive place to make a change in their life. The energy here is awesome. You can tell that people show up to put in real work, but there's zero ego. It's the kind of gym where you can lift heavy, hit cardio, stretch, or just get a solid workout in without feeling judged or out of place. The owners, Major and Adam, are genuinely kind, helpful, and present. They're not just behind the scenes--they're engaged, approachable, and clearly care about the community they're building. They've created a space where you feel supported and pushed at the same time. If you're looking for a place that's clean, well-equipped, community-driven, and just a great environment to get after it, I highly recommend this gym.

But I did use the locker room for the women as well as the pool/sauna area and cycle studio. Arriving the staff were friendly, not pushy to join or commit (I was a guest to a friend). One of them literally walked us down the hall and pointed us in the right direction. We felt so comfortable, welcome and had a great workout! Looking forward to returning for another cycle/HIIT class! The class was one that novices and experts could thrive in! The instructor was inclusive and also pushed us in the best way! There were options to modify, make things easier/harder, etc. Great instructor! The locker rooms were clean, although the key system, my friend is used to the code so didn't have a card to use to get the lock to work. The desk outside the locker room has spares and helped right away. The showers were clean, locker area clean, overall great! Parking was....a pain. But I can imagine on a Monday at 5ish, that's the case. Found a spot within 5 minutes and had to walk a few minutes but whatever. If you're looking for a gym with freedoms to use equipment, shoot some hoops, or take a class - check out lifetime!

For a place that advertises No commitment they really will double charge you if the payment doesn't go through or is late. Management Will not work a resolution to the issues and couldn't care less if you cancel $20 a month is great but $45 might as well look around at other gyms.

The workout was a HIIT version alternating between light/medium weights and cardio. 45 sec on, 15 sec recovery. I felt the right amount of sore afterwards to know I worked hard. I was able to do most activities or at least adjust to one's I could do. The instructor was energetic and motivating. Music was pumping up the class. We even had a well behaved puppy participant. Their indoor track is my favorite in the South Metro & St. Paul area: rubberized, 3 lanes of comfortable width, 11 laps/mile. It's suspended above the Community Center's basketball courts, which is great for two reasons. 1) It's out of the way so you don't have to worry about people meandering onto the track. 2) There's usually some practice or game going on, which means you'll have a bit of incidental entertainment as you exercise. Also, they have several bays of floor-to-ceiling windows along the one wall, so unlike some basement-like facilities, you'll get to enjoy some natural light as you put in the miles. This facility is clean with a capital C. Everything is spotless--the track, the equipment, even the locker rooms were in impeccable condition. The building's over a decade old (built in 2003, if I recall correctly), but it still looks shiny and new. Pricing is very reasonable; since I'm here fairly infrequently I utilize the walking-track-only day pass, which is less than $5. However, please be aware that this option is not available Monday-Friday between 4-7pm. For a few more bucks you can get full run (no pun intended) of the fitness center with no restrictions. There's all sorts of membership options, of course, that you can find on the website. They have fitness classes and personal training available at the ECC as well. I've never used these services, but it's worth mentioning they exist. Spacious, un-pretentious, affordable, easy to get to, easy to park, friendly staff, never crowded... ultimately, a good gym, and a great amenity for the people of Eagan (and surrounding areas).
