Stopped in this location while in town. Very friendly and great coaches. Only thing I would change is make the music louder.

During the course of my contract with this organization, I suffered a significant life altering event; A devastating and crushing divorce. I became a single mother of two children, and I was not allowed to cancel my contract. I financially could not afford the monthly fee, and it put a significant financial burden on myself and my children. I was told I could only cancel it if I moved 30 miles away from a CG camp or if I had a doctors note saying I can no longer participate. CG will squeeze blood from a turnip before they give an actual fuck about your financial hardships. Their 2-year contracts are a bunch of bullshit, because a lot can happen in those 2 years such as what happened to me. And they make it literally impossible to cancel your membership. The monthly fee wasn't even worth it anyway when I was participating. I absolutely do not recommend unless you really enjoy being raped by excessive monthly fees that show minimal fitness results. They showed me to NEVER sign a fitness contract with any organization.

I had gain a quite a bit of weight and hoped the workouts could help with that, but the pain was overwhelming in my daily life and was my main concern. Because of my weak joints ( and being extremely out of shape) The first couple of months were very hard, but Heath was great guidance every step of the way. I needed a lot of attention due to my problems and Heath provided every once of his expertise and patience, and for a while the workouts served a physical therapy. The group sessions are challenging every time (you can move at your own level and pace), and the workouts will change you. I am stronger now than I have been in years, even though I have a long way to go. My flexibility has improved and the pain has diminished significantly; and I have lost weight which is a BIG PLUS. Heath is a very knowledgeable instructor and a great motivator. His assistants have all been fun to work with. I encourage anyone who is in physical trouble to come and give it a try. It might just be what you need. It was the life change I needed.

My success story consists of an old version of me and a new me. My journey started two years ago…read morewhen I was dreaming of how a skinnier version of me would impress myself, friends and family. I envisioned that my clothes would fit better, friends and family relationships would be fixed, and going to the pool would be more positive. I did everything that I could think of: meal prepping, going to the gym, ordering off of the "skinny" menu, buying trendy workout clothes to motivate me more. At the time, I was embarrassed that I was in this situation, and so I wanted to work on my insecurity, on my own. One day, I became frustrated at my level of insecurity and even more so, acknowledge that perhaps my "friends" weren't friends if they contributed to my insecurity. I came across a boot camp and without much thinking (because I didn't want to think too much of it) signed up for three times a week of boot camp for 8 months with a trainer and her female only group of trainees. I went to my first day, expecting the worse - that my insecurities would flare up and that all I would want to do was to fibble through the workout and not come back. Perhaps it was the trainer? Perhaps it was a good day at work? Perhaps pigs flew over our Texas skies, but I plopped my cleaned, unused mat and water bottle in the middle of the class and danced as if no one was watching. Soon enough, I realized that those around me were going through the same experiences. Some were encouraging, inspiring, motivating and eager to help. There was never any discussion on how someone should. There was no "should" way to lose weight, no "should" way to diet and no "should" way to do the exercise. The point was to get active and have fun doing whatever you're doing. Although I don't' reside close enough to attend the boot camp today, it is two years later, and I am attending other boot camps and doing the same exercises I learned from my brief 8 months at Buda Texas Fit Chicks. The new version of me is healthier. Since losing some weight, my priorities has change to where I don't need to go back on my old visions of myself. I don't care what pool people are thinking (if they are even thinking of me at all). I don't follow a strict "should" of boiled grilled chicken and broccoli recipe. I do whatever I feel is right for me and have fun doing it which is what I've learned during this boot camp. Thumbs up!

I was looking forward to my workout at 6:15 at Forbes Elementary in Georgetown, Texas. I usually…read moredrive together with Vicky Hernandez and we chuckled today because we arrived early (we are usually pressed for time). We got my 6 year old daughter and Vicky's 3 year old daughter situated set up our mats for today's workout. Vicky and I discussed our day as everyone else was chattering with each other since the workout had yet to begin. Jennifer, (the trainer) approached me Vicky and asked me where my "hood rat" was? Then she looked at both of us and asked us if we had brought our "hoodlums" to the workout with us today. This is the definition of what your ignorant trainer called my child:HOOD RAT: skanky, ghetto looking female who always hangs with groups of guys. In no way shape or form is that a description of my child or my friends and my daughter. I've had a long day and was looking forward to my workout that I PAY for to obtain this type of racism? For a company that promotes bringing your children with you to workout and then portray this type of behavior is unethical, embarrassing, and false advertisement. Not only was this said in front of my friend Vicky, but this was also said in front of the other member that were set up near us. If my child is not welcome, all you have to do is let me know and I will gladly not show up to her workout locations. I have been to several locations all over Georgetown/Round Rock and Belton/Temple which I have seen other members bring their children to the workouts with no problems. I have even taken my daughter to other locations with me with out any issues. There were other children tonight at the workout. I didn't see her go up to the parents of those children and ask them where their "HOOD RATS" were. I am NOT the person to pull out the RACE card at all. But, If my daughter is being called a "Hood Rat" while the other children that were also there tonight are not being belittled and humiliated like mine was the only thing I can assume is because we are Hispanic and the other children are White. If you don't want Hispanics at your workouts please let me know. I'll be happy to go elsewhere. To disrespect me as an adult, fine by me. There's no issue there at all because I am able to defend myself. But instead of doing your job, like you are paid to do, you take a low blow to my six year old daughter and have the audacity to say these hateful/hurtful words about her. That is where the line is drawn. I'm saddened by this event today. I've had several trainers reach out to me and apologize for her racist comments made today. At 9:47 tonight Jennifer reached out to me to apologize for tonight (please see attached photo). She "didn't realize what she said was offensive. We all make mistakes and trust me I know. I've been in this line of work for over 6 years and I've had people call me a racist before. But if you are going to apologize, please be sincere. Please meant what you are saying own up to it. Do not cop out and say that you weren't aware that this was offensive. I have sent emails, commented on the Camp Gladiator Facebook page (which has been deleted each time) and no one has addressed this issue. Very much a disappointment to have invested so much money on a company that allow this type of behavior. If I could rate any lower I most definitely would. Thanks for addressing the issue.
