Chris, the manager, is super friendly and professional. Ari, at the front desk, made check in and check out easy. Membership plans were clearly presented with a great incentive to join and get a free OTF heart rate monitor. The price points give a wide variety of options. Coach Catherine was knowledgeable, motivating and challenging. I absolutely LOVE the treadmills with easy access to speeds and inclines and the best absorption for a running surface ever! The water rowers feel like you're actually rowing in the water. Everything is neatly organized in the strength section, making it clear where to go and how to get exactly what you need. The splat points brought out my inner competitive side to keep pushing. I loved being able to track my heart rate, calorie burn and effort level in real time. read more

I have been working out here before and stopped for awhile due to my work schedule. I came back yesterday and some of the crew remember who I was and welcomed me back. I have always liked their staff here and their personal trainer. They are always nice, posItive attitude and makes working out enjoyable! Courtney (the personal trainer during my class) was very helpful in explaining the routines and helping me correct a routine when I was doing it incorrectly. The attention they gave you is incredible. I saw her help others too. I also got to meet another trainer, Nicole while she was working out too! I look forward to taking her classes too! I started Orange Theory last March at their Murphy Location (while the North Richardson location was being built). I did not know how much I would enjoy exercising before trying OT! It became my new addiction and I have seen so much progress and strength. The staff and coaches at OT Murphy are phenomenal! (Shout out to Coaches Nicole, Katie & Moose). I have been a member of OTF for about 2 years. It is a great workout - if you stick to it, you WILL loose weight & you WILL gain muscle .... Normally a trainer understands that members may have injuries and/or training for other types of events (I.e. Marathons) and will modify your workout accordingly. I workout all over Atlanta & many places in Dallas and , as long as there is an open spot, I'm able to do the weight room twice. Not here... Lauren was like working with a drill sergeant & was inflexible even though her class had only 7 people , the head trainer was just as clueless & gave some bull about corporate (all are franchises). Even if it was - it's special circumstances (which they say they will modify for at the beginning of class)...The following day Chris was also inflexible but seemed to kind of understand. Poor guy seemed uber scared when I questioned his response about injury prevention. Overall poor customer service from the trainers, bad excuses of why they couldn't address injuries or special circumstances. Join OTF, but go other locations cuz this one sucks! read more

Love the Orangetheory workouts! The workouts are class setting but everyone progresses at their own pace. No need to be self conscious about how you stack up to the others in class because everyone is too busy with their work out to peek in on what you are doing. The trainers however, have an eagle eye and will make sure you are doing the workout correctly so that you do not injure yourself. They also offer options if you have any issues preventing you from doing the exercise as they demo'ed. This is the only workout I have ever stuck with and after 5 years I still LOVE it. Everyone at this location is awesome. Trainers? Awesome. Front desk? Awesome. Other members? AWESOME. read more

The trainers are on hand to do two things: check my form to make sure I am doing it correctly, and to encourage and push me to do just a little more. I really appreciate the instruction, and I LOVE the encouragement.Setting an appointment forces me to go. IT's as simple as that, and it's how I'm wired. I think I've been going for almost a year now. I like that the class workouts have never been the same. I personally like weightlifting , but not motivated to run or jog. This class is a workout that includes short sprinting, you never jog or run longer than 3 minutes. You have options to run, jog, walk, stride, or bike, depending on your own level of fitness. The class is built to bring your heart rate up and down cause you to burn more fat calories other than just calories. The trainers explain and demonstrate each workout that is going to be done that day for the new and old members. The class goes by really fast, I really didn't think I would like this classes, I'm glad I tried it out! read more
