To start off walking into a store being greater by an orca on a bag of popcorn. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was amazing. I feel so fortunate that I came across Orca Corn when we were in Ketchikan last week. Around a block away I started to smell the burnt caramel aroma from my childhood beach boardwalk days. I couldn't resist. I had to buy some right away. You can tell that Rhonda loves her job. She is so kind. I enjoyed the caramel crisp so much that I hardly shared with my husband! It's so delicious. Walking around in the small town of Ketchikan during a cruise stop and we found ourselves smelling kettle corn! Mmmm.... The store is up from the dock, away from where most of the high traffic areas are, but definitely not hard to find. I bought a small bag of fresh kettle corn. Great tasting, let me tell ya! I also bought a bag of Frosted Northern Lights popcorn to bring back home. Just imagine the taste of fruit loops with a hint of sea salt. Tasty! This was one of my best finds during our cruise. The pop corn here is the best I have ever tasted. The flavors are light and authentic. The caramel corn was perfectly sweet and salty with out sticking to your teeth. If you're in Alaska, getting Orca Corm is a must. I've travelled far and wide and it is a family tradition to get caramel corn. I wanted to try orca corns popcorn, it was delicious but the owner (Rhonda) was serving us, and she sure was rude too us she couldn't give me a second sample of a different kind of popcorn even after I said I would buy a bag of her $6 popcorn! Then after I bought the popcorn instead of Thank-you, Rhonda said "have fun & don't do anything stupid" in front of a Bunch of people. What is that supposed to mean? I may be young but that doesn't mean she should be rude to her customers not only that, I'm a local! Won't buy from her again,very disappointed in orca corns customer service. read more
