On a drizzly July day with several cruise ships docked, we waited over 30 minutes during the prime lunch hour to order our food, with the line far outside the door and onto the sidewalk. But the line moves fast and we found seats in the 2nd dining room (there's also outdoor seating weather permitting). The food came quickly, a little over 10 minutes after we ordered. My wife chose the Alaskan Sampler Fish & Chips, with one of each of the 3 fried fish options: Pacific Cod, local Silver Salmon and local Halibut. It also came with a generous portion of fries as well as a side of coleslaw. Of all the fish, the halibut was her favorite. She surprisingly enjoyed the coleslaw, as it was dressed with a house-made vinaigrette and wasn't sweet (like many other places use mayo and relish). There was malt vinegar and ketchup on the tables. My salad had a huge salmon filet covering it, with vinaigrette on the side. It was very filling, and I felt better about myself for choosing a healthier option at port after days of overeating on this cruise. We did order sodas with our meal. There is a self-serve soda fountain with free refills. There is also a small bar inside the dining room where you can order draft beer as well as wine and cocktails.

We arrived right before noon and were met with a long line, waiting about 30 minutes to order. Fortunately, the indoor seating space is quite large, so we easily found a big table for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids after ordering. ​The Food: I got the halibut rice bowl, which was a bit disappointing--the piece of fish was small compared to the generous mountain of raw cabbage and rice. Also, the teriyaki sauce had a bit of a kick, making it too spicy to share with my toddler. On the flip side, my husband got the sampler (fried cod, salmon, and halibut with fries), and all the fish and fries were crispy and delicious! ​The Highlight: The salmon chowder was fantastic. It was packed with ingredients, giving every single bite great texture and flavor. ​Looking around at other tables, I definitely had a bit of ordering regret and wished we had tried their fish tacos instead, which seem to be their signature item. My wife ordered the Wild Alaskan Smoked Salmon crepe (adding avocado), while I chose the Monte Cristo. As the crepes were made to order, it did take a while to get our food. After about 20 minutes, the server called my name. We took our order and sat down in front of the pub next door (they were closed), as there wasn't any seating around. We dove into our food as it was hot and fresh. My Monte Cristo was jam-packed (pun intended) with chopped ham and cheese, but with just enough of the raspberry preserves to enrich the flavor of the other ingredients. My wife's crepe was full of salmon, enrobed by the spinach and avocado. We devoured our food very quickly, our appetites satiated and ready for a long day ahead. The distillery tour, which is the focus of this updated review, was 2.5 hours long and was an absolute pleasure to attend. Travis, one of the two co-owners, did a great job of mixing in the historical aspects of his distillery, with the science of how the distilling process works while mixing in his own down home humor to make for an excellent excursion. As part of this tour you get to taste all the products Uncharted make, which includes numerous Gin, Vodka, Agave and whiskey products while Travis is giving his presentation. Upon completion of his presentation we went upstairs to the "lab" to make our own personalized bottle of liquor where I ended up making an orange colander Agave. Such fun! If you have any interest in the distilling process and have ever wondered how liquor is made you should definitely give this excursion some strong consideration as you will not be disappointed. As Travis added so much to this experience, I would strongly suggest you try to coordinate the tour when he is available. Definitely worth the price of admission (:

The food was very good. I wish somebody had told me they had a 3% surcharge in the restaurant. When I asked the server what it was for he couldn't really say. He said it wasn't stated when we sat down so I don't think they can charge us. Please remove it. He said there's no way to remove it. Food pretty good, service decent extra charges that nobody knows about not acceptable. Period because of that I would give this place a three instead of four stars. At least you know now if you decide to go try them.
