I was very excited to try this location. When I was at Juneau the Alaskan Fudge Co. was phenomenal and I thought this would be a similar encore. First it's a handful of blocks from the port. Easily walkable. Just be mindful every jewelry store will try to coax you inside along the way. I hen we arrived I had high hopes. They had a bubble machine outside, music, chalk drawings. Loved all of this! But when I entered it was a well organized candy shop. Everything was either commercialized or prepackaged. That was kind of a let down. It was crowded, we ended up getting a 1/4 pound of birthday cake fudge for about $7.50. It was sickly sweet. I had asked the clerk for recommendations and she grabbed a tray and handed me a sample and moved along. I know they must have been busy. So we took a guess and while our party wasn't a fan of the one we picked I still think the homemade fudge would be delicious. I know we like to buy treats and distribute as gifts so we paid for a few items and left. We did buy the coffee we found in there. It was local to Alaska so hopefully that will be a hit. Haven't tried it yet but fingers crossed. read more

The store was cute and covered in ducks, there are self serve candy bins that you pay by the pound and the Swedish candy options there wee fantastic. Some of their candy is already boxed you can pick up but there was only 1 pricing gun for the candy that they have made and is in the case so if there are many people there you'll end up waiting for quite a while so my one commend was that they should probably get a second because a bunch of the employees were kind of just standing there while only one could do those candies at a time which resulted in us skipping out on what they have made and I wish we'd had more opportunity to do that read more

Crushing disappointment. TL;DR-- had an identity crisis. Save your $$ and go to Alaska Fudge Co. in Juneau or Skagway. Went here annually for years when it was on Mission, but its new place on Main is awful-- sterile feeling, anything worthwhile pre-packed so you can't even get what you want in terms of quantity, poor selection-- other than gourmet chocolates that pretentiously sit behind glass as if the shop were in Paris-- and all ridiculously over-costed. This place has lost all its local flavor and essence somewhere along the way and is now just like all yhe jewelry shops aroubd it. Save your $$ and go to the Alaskan Fudge Co. in Skagway or Juneau-- at least there you can still see candy being made and they haven't had an identity crisis. Lastly: if you just have to buy this fudge, get it at the store outside Cruise Ship Pier 3- cheaper. read more

Huge disappointment. This is the last time I will shop here. The quality of the chocolates is nothing like it used to be. They taste completely different. Cheaper ingredients? Different recipe? They all seem smaller too, but cost more. The prices are ridiculous. The store itself looks like it's trying to be a big city, down south store with glaring lighting and run of the mill candy you can get anywhere. Hi, a lady and her daughter were vacationing here in the Seattle area a wks ago n stopped into my billiards shop and the daughter was buying a pool cue..the 2 women were wonderful people we all got along great . I guess when you are the only game in town you can be mediocre. We were stopped in town on cruise ship and made our way to this shop. The sign said that they would be back at 1:00, and then added "ish." My mom picked up a box of mixed goodies for us as we were off on an excursion. They were really pretty bad. Great little shop. At first when you walk in, it seems like a See's Candies knock off, but after trying their chocolate, it is 100% better than See's! It is not overly sweet and the choices of chocoloates they have were abundant and they all taste amazing!!! The one thing I would improve on is their counter space and their line. We looked everywhere for this place after it was recommended on the cruise ship. The location is wrong on google maps (which the store knows) so we started asking around. The first 3 stores gave the wrong location, and the next two said that it had closed and gone out of business. We finally called the store and got the location. It is a small store and candy is fair. We came in here after it was recommended to us by our Ship's First Captain. Maple Walnut Fudge- pretty darn delicious but you can't have more than one bite. Also, it's very very expensive! This place is tiny indeed but the chocolate and products they sell are larger than life! They have different kinds of chocolates but what I went in there for was the chocolate covered oreos. Having read previous reviews from fellow yelpers, I had to grab some. The concept is so simple but it works so well! I ended up walking out of the place with 3 boxes of chocolate covered oreos -- 1 box of mint flavor and 2 boxes of a variety kind (white chocolate, dark chocolate & milk chocolate). Granted it costs $12.95 but once you bit into it, you'll forget about it. There's just enough chocolate to make it delightfully sinful. Oreos aren't really my favorite cookies unless they're mixed into ice cream, but cover it with a ton of chocolate and it's absolutely delectable! The staff seemed somewhat reluctant to allow me sample the oreos, but she should be glad she did as I ended up buying a box of the mint chocolate oreos which I munched on throughout my cruise trip. The best thing about this place is the name. That's about it. The caramels were a huge disappointment. The caramels were firm and yet gummy, not a pleasant experience. Yummy!!! 3.5 stars I love how you can buy stuff by the pound. The toffee is yumms. Brittle is yums. They're known for their fudge. The strawberry licorice was a big disappointment. A wonderful little break from the typical cruise port souvenir shops. My husband and I bought the chocolate covered Oreos and the peppermint patties. They were absolutely delicious and worth the price. If I had to come up with ONE complaint, it would be that the shop is a tight fit with a few customers, but you make do with what space you have. read more

We heard about Ketchicandies from the crew on the Disney Wonder so we had to find this place. It has moved from the location that Google gave but we managed to find it a few blocks over.
