We picked a watermelon and 1/2 bucket of apples. I feel like the apples were either under ripe or overripe. 1/2 bucket $8.50 full bucket $17. Watermelon upick is $6. They did have already picked buckets that you could just purchase a higher price. I didn't catch the price of the veggies or flowers. I will go back to check out the pears in a few weeks.

I was here for apples, and they had a ton of options. They were very friendly and patiently explained the process. You fill buckets and then pay at the end. They have pull carts so you can move multiple buckets around. There are so many varieties of apples! There is a chart at the entrance to the orchard with the names and what purpose is best for each kind of apple (eating, baking, applesauce). They also let you sample the apples to help with the selection process. The orchards extend farther than was apparently from the parking lot. It was peaceful at the far end of some of the rows, and we found plenty of apples. It can be muddy, so boots are probably a good idea. It was a lovely fall day, with blue skies. This was a fun way to connect with the season and to become more familiar with where some of our food comes from. Highly recommended.

Hands downnnnnn my most favorite milkshake spot in Oregon!!!…read more My boyfriend is an Oregon local here and introduced me to this little shop 20 minutes away from his house. This place consists of everything locally made/grown honey, jams, fruits, vegetables, they even have frozen ice cream and meats on the go. Very cute farm vibe! We walked to the back of the store where they offer some pies, shortcakes, ice creams, sundaes, milkshakes, and hot/ice coffees. We were nicely greeted by the employees and we both ordered the strawberry milkshake. They directed us to go the back of the store where the seating area is located and someone will come out and announce our names. We waited about 5 to10 minutes and then they finally called our names. Took my first bite, my mind was blownnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!! Most milkshakes I've had in the past were always generic and when it melts it turns into watery milk. But with Aspinwall's milkshake, the consistency is soooooo creamy, soft, and smooth! Even if it melts, it turns into a milky froth! Superrrr delicious!! The next few weeks of my vacation here I kept ordering a different variety of their fresh fruit milkshakes to see which one I liked the most. I tried peach, blueberry, blackberry, strawberry blended with chocolate, and strawberry blended with blueberry. So which fresh fruit milkshake do I most recommend? STRAWBERRY BLENDED BLUBERRY MILKSHAKE!!! Separated they are delicious on their own so that's why decided to blend both together and enjoy all at the same time :) I recommend ordering this combo!!!! Least favorite fresh fruit milkshakes was the peach, it wasn't fresh and seemed they used a preserved peach from a long ago harvest. Vacation here in Oregon lasted 2 weeks so we went here at least 5-7x to get as much milkshakes as possible before we head back to my home in Hawaii. Surprisingly I never got tired of the milkshakes because I just love the fresh fruit! We will be back again!

We know the brand and the quality because we have picked up these pies occasionally in various locations. I was primarily looking for an apple crumble pie, a frozen one I could take home to cook later. I was totally floored to see they also have these GINORMOUS chicken pot pies that are just as big as the other fruit based pies. A 10 inch chicken pot pie!? How medieval, I had to get one of those as well. These pies are all double crusted, not just a layer of crust on top, but an actual encased pie. A layer of crust, chicken pot pie filling and a layer of crust on top. Outstanding! ....but then we saw the treats and kinda lost it. Monstrous cookies. We got some Ranger cookies as well that are a delicious combination of dried fruits and nuts. The chocolate chip cookies look great, haven't chomped on that one yet. Then I saw the banana coffee cake. That one didn't make it out of the parking lot. The cake was pretty large for a single serving. It was very moist with a frosting drizzled across the top, and the banana flavor was spot on perfect. We felt like a couple of kids in this store being excited about all these offerings. We also ended up getting a hand held cherry pie and an apple pie. They were shaped like a pasty in a crust and went down easy. So many different treats, so little time. At least I got my apple pie for later and the chicken pot pies, very interested in that one. This is definitely a Mom and Pop shop, or should I say a 'Mom and Daughter' shop. They are very friendly. The store itself has a little bit of a Frontier country kind of feel and is very welcoming.

Took it home, heated it up in the oven and took one bite, and I was in heaven. This is the first time I've ever tasted marionberry and I found out that this fruit was developed here in Oregon back in the 50s. I'm used to raspberries and blueberries, but this is a very unique berry, especially made with this pie that has a really nice and delicious crust. Now I've decided what pie to serve during Thanksgiving. Can't wait again to have this pie in a few months.

I initially wondered if it was worth hiring them for ag consulting additionally since we are so small. I tend to think of this service as something for large commercial operations. Boy, are we glad we got the consulting part too. We've never had sheep before and this was absolutely worth it's weight in gold (or Amex.) Brian and Michelle came out to our property and identified the types of grass, appropriateness of our fencing and shelter, and recommended an amount of animals based on the lot size. They immediately followed up by email with a written list of specific supplies they recommend. Our ram and ewes were selected based on this meeting and delivered to us. We really felt like all our questions were answered and when our first sheepergency came up, they immediately responded to our anxious questions. So many people I know are trying to add some element of farming to their already busy day job lives, but don't know where to start. I highly recommend Brian and Michelle for even small properties: let them save you the expense and headache reinventing the wheel from their years of learned experience!

The minute you walk on you are warmly created. The place is clean and the food smells great. We came with both a gluten and dairy allergy and the staff was incredibly helpful. They were out of a couple of items , but offered ideas of how to help accommodate our needs. We came for drinks, appetizers and dinner. We had mules, margaritas and whiskey sours; all delicious. The pork nachos with their pickled onions and jalapeños were delicious too. The wedge salad and salad bowls are huge. This is the only place I'd order a salad because it looks and tastes amazing. Burgers and fries are fantastic. They have gluten free fries (however I think they're cooked in the same oil as the other fries, just double check) and they're fantastic! The dessert menu has gluten free options too, but we will have to try on our next trip to Oregon.
