I just moved into the neighborhood, and being a frequent traveler and painting collecting enthusiast, I've been searching for a good custom frame shop in the area. I've tried a few, but found that Orchid Galleries is by far the best around, in terms of both quality and affordability. Abu is amazing! He framed two 20x15 prints for me for a steal of a price compared to the local competition (like literally half the price). His work is impeccable, he has great attention to detail, and he's very generous and kind. Going out of his way to make everything look perfect, he even put in an extra little border for me at no extra cost, so that the edges would all be the same width. Not to mention he gave me free nails and all the supplies I need to hang the frames in my home. If you're looking for someone to trust with your beautiful art, look no further. The owner has a NASTY attitude I just went there to check the prices and he got very aggressive and angry for not wanting to get his framing services because I actually now my money's worth and found a better place for a WAY better reasonable price and most important of all a RESPECTFUL AND CIVILIZED ATTITUDE while maintaining a professional communication. Who do you think you are to talk to women in that tone ? Act like an adult , there is no sign that says if you walk in you are committed to pay illogically. Do not come here ! This place only gets good reviews because he desperately asks customers to write them in front of him before he handles them their belongings that they already paid for. I really wish the man working here would stop yelling at customers when they decide to leave because the price is too high for framing a picture. I brought my pictures as a sample because I wanted to know the price before bringing the rest and he gave them after taking a look and asking inappropriate questions. I kindly said thank you and on my way out he aggressively started screaming '' if you don't leave it here now you will never find anyone to help you anywhere in the world'' yep thanks for that because I will never be returning again.
