We were given menus, but then had to return to the counter to place our order and later go back to pick up our food when it was ready. It seems like many pizza restaurants have moved away from traditional customer service while still prominently displaying tip jars. Personally, I've become less inclined to tip in situations where customers are doing most of the work. That said, the food was excellent. We ordered a cheese pizza and a chicken calzone, and both were outstanding. The pizza was delicious, and the calzone was one of the highlights of our meal. We genuinely enjoyed the food and would order it again. Since I had already left a tip in the jar and staff were actively cleaning tables, I left our trays on the table when we finished. Overall, the food was great, but the self service dining experience kept it from being a perfect visit.

There is a section with Vermont beers that is separate from the other beer section. They also sell wine. The deli had two specials for Halloween, one chicken sandwich and one beef one. I chose the chicken sandwich. It had a lot of vegetables and tasted good. The people doing the deli seemed very happy. That's very different from most delis where it is just a job. That made the experience pleasant. Once we got our sandwiches, we went outside to the picnic tables next door at the ice cream place. I think that place is owned by the same people. The tables were very clean and the view of the village was beautiful. We enjoyed our lunch here and now we know why it sees a lot of business.

But this is unacceptable. She understood that I had hungry kids waiting. She still asked me to leave for asking for vegetables on a sub. FRESOLONES IS A HAZARD TO FAMILIES. I have a lot of love in my heart, and wish her and her family all the best. But if you read this, please drive down the road to Lincoln for GH Pizza instead.
