We visited on a Friday afternoon, restaurant wasn't crowded and the sign said seat yourself. We picked a table by the wall, Madi was our server. We started with 1/2 order nachos w/grilled chicken, those were excellent and large for 1/2 portion. For entrees we ordered "The Bird" which is a turkey sandwich on Oat Bread, sweet potato fries as a side. My daughter ordered chicken tortellini bake, both were very good and filling, we ended up leaving with a doggy bag for lunch tomorrow. Nachos: Wanted to try the Panther nachos which are almost always voted #1 in New Hampshire each year by WMUR voters. To me, they didn't really meet the expectations that one would have for the best nachos in the entire state. There was some good cheese coverage right in the middle on top, but most of the chips around the sides and under the top layer were bare and overtoasted, and it was light on the toppings. Salsa and sour cream are served on the side. Two stars just for the nachos. Our server was nice, though. My companions got buffalo chicken tenders and fries which they loved. read more

I went in tonight to pickup a Cobb salad. They were pretty busy and the only person I saw wearing a mask was the bartender. She was really friendly. Customers were not distanced from one another at all. There were very few empty seats. I paid $17 and change for my salad and went home. I open the bag and the salad container is maybe half full. Long time customer! Have always enjoyed going to the pub! However on Friday night we departed very quickly due to poor behavior at the bar. Another regular slapped his fist on the bar and then drunkenly called out another man in a hostile manner. He was clearly drunk and creating a scene. My husband saw the concealed gun on his hip. Visiting during the busiest weekend in October, we needed a place to watch the NE Patriots play. Great small town sports bar, plenty of well placed screens. This pub is supposed to be known for the nachos but I wasn't super impressed. We got buffalo chicken nachos and besides cheese there wasn't much on them. Not nearly enough tomatoes and the waiter didn't bring over out salsa and sour cream until we were almost finished. The steak tip wrap that I got was just ok. The steak was very chewy. The burgers looked pretty good but everyone I was with got wraps that weren't anything great. It's a great place to get a beer and watch a game. Deeeeefinitely a college bar. My boyfriend and I popped in for dinner at the recommendation of my brother, who just started at grad school at Plymouth State this year. Portions were large for the price and they offered significantly more on tap than I would've expected for a college dive. Our waitress was nice enough, but the service was a little slow. Great service, bar, and atmosphere at the Panther Pub. Televisions all around you with a greatly shaped square wrap around bar. The cost of the food compared to what you get is a great value. Delivery available on some days or takeout is easy as well. There are many craft beers on tap at affordable prices. Always served promptly and am never found waiting unlike other bars in the area. The nachos are huge, pretty much could be a meal between two people. Caesar salad, burgers, mozzarella sticks, fries, and buffalo tenders are all a great decision. Buy a pitcher get a free side of fries when the Sox or Pats are on; such a good deal. Only complaint would be that they do not have many options when it comes to wraps or subs. Have received a couple wraps and the lettuce was wilted. Not many other complaints about this place as I will definitely return in the near future! read more

Outstanding onion rings and the French onion super was marvelous! Our bartender mixed a decent better than average Old-Fashioned too. Met some high school buddies here before a show at the Flying Monkey last weekend and I enjoyed our pre-show cocktail and eats there with the exception of an absolutely bizarre kerfuffle with the hostess and owner who both had a meltdown when I proceeded straight to join my buddies who arrived first at an empty seat at the bar I've been going to bars in restaurants for 30+ years and this was the first time I ever encountered a policy of having to ask to be seated at the bar. Aside from my ignorance of the Panther's "No Savesies" policy and the public scolding I subsequently received for my faux-pas, this is an otherwise really nice place with great food, generous portions and fair prices. Okay came here on a sunday afternoon, service was exceptional. My friend and i had a few apps. Chili and french onion soup, some of the other patrons had the nachos and well it looked like a mountain of deliciousness. My bartender who's name was meg had the nicest smile you will ever see. She was attentive and willing to change the tv station to what we requested. The bar itself is beautiful, very clean, light wood throughout and lots of different color wood accents. After reading other reviews we knew we would be walking into a college bar, so it wasn't a surprise to walk in and see the place packed with young 20-somethings. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. Our beers weren't very cold but the food was good. I got a Salmon BLT Slider that was on special and my husband got the Reuben Burger. Mine was excellent, tho the sliders were much large than I anticipated. My husband asked for his burger well done, but it came to him rare. My husband tried to eat it because he was so hungry, got about three bites in and couldn't do it. The bartender was great and had another one made for him and gave us a round to make up for it. We went for lunch today, sat at the bar. The bartender got us drinks and menus immediately. I got the french dip, substituted cheddar for Swiss and a side salad instead if chips. It was very fresh and delicious. My wife got the manacitti special and raved about it. The atmosphere is always good. I'm starting to become a regular here! The Panther Pub is always on top of my list for a quick sit down place to grab a bite to eat and a good beer. The service is always top notch. Waitresses and bartenders are quick and attentive, unlike other bars in Plymouth. I have never waited more than 3-4 minutes for a drink, even on their busiest of nights! The food and prices always rock. Every time I come in for lunch or dinner, I know what to expect. The food is quick and cooked to order. Good portions and very reasonable prices. They have every sports channel imaginable in HD (only one in Plymouth) The staff is more than happy to throw your favorite team up on a TV closest to you. Great drink deals during the week and during B's, Celtics, Sox and Pats games. Student, Resident or Tourist, make sure you stop at the Pub for a great meal and awesome company! read more
