Great selection of supplies for the urban farmer types. Also a very convenient place to get straw and hay for my gardening needs.

I love this place! They have everything I need for my chickens, even organic scratch grains! Plus, the free caramels. Yay!

One of the most stand up businesses I run into in a while. Dave knows how to take good care of customers. Foolish to go anywhere else!

However, I will say that the new Self-Serve Dog Wash isn't practical at all. I was excited to use the new wash area and was left disappointed. A few things to note: - There's no grip for the dog in the bath. My dog was slipping around the whole time and digging his claws into the tile/plaster tub. I wish they put some sort of rubber mat down. - The baths don't have that half wall like a traditional tub. It's more like a counter to put your dog on. It looks really nice and it's easy to get the dogs in but I was left soaking wet since the water was just splashing back at me. Even with the apron on. - The hooks with the slip leads are just too close to the corners of the walls. It left my dog standing and sitting in awkward positions. Maybe they should add a hook towards the middle so there's more options. I used to come all the time to bathe my dog but now I just can't see myself using the new washing area again :/ I will definitely continue to shop their selection of food, treats, and toys though!

While Kayla did a great job on my dog's nails, I disagree with this new policy and will probably get nail trims elsewhere.

I was in there for the first time in the middle of the afternoon. I tried to rouse the cats they…read morehad up for adoption and they were unresponsive. Even after shaking the cages. The cages were so small that a grown cat did not have enough room to stretch out completely. One litter box was completely full and the cage was filthy. I told the people at the register what I'd found, and one person went to check. They also said they let the cats out into a larger play area "quite often". I left there feeling like I'd witnessed animal neglect. Maybe dog owners like to get their pets groomed there but seeing that made my heart ache. I'm appalled by how small the cages are. Any shelter I've been to have cages twice that size. I can't in good conscience support this place. I won't go back.

I visited the store the morning after arriving from Michigan with hopes to wash her again with a coat stain remover that needs to be heated prior to use. Hailey went above and beyond to help. Unfortunately the stain remover did not remove all the gray carbon. I called to see if they could assist again with another remedy to getting her coat in the proper condition and Hailey again went above and beyond. Not only did she find a solution but she also offered to have me come in early. You just don't find service like this anymore! Pet Supplies Plus has a great team and a manager that really cares about making a difference. Thank you again for your outstanding customer service!

Neglected cats They…read morehave a tiny, overcrowded room with tons of cats. The litter boxes were filthy and weren't even filled with enough clean litter to begin with. One cat that I was petting had several mats, with one particularly large one on its back (this can cause skin sores, bleeding, and infection). It's nice that they take them in, but you do actually have to take care of them if you do that. I politely mentioned to the woman at the desk that the cat was matted, and she said "Yeah, that happens," and stared back at me. I asked if she cuts them off. She said yes, when she has someone to help her. I asked if she needed help, and she said no, she would do it later. I then mentioned that the litter boxes were low, and she said, "Well, I have a routine that I keep up with." Clearly, it's neither a routine nor kept up with, since the room is like that every time I go in, even though this store is never busy. This is just the first time I've complained. She then snottily asked me if I had made the donation while I was in there ("since you want to complain so much" being the implication). I replied that I had. It's worth mentioning that no other customers were in the store, as usual, and there were two employees chatting at the desk while I was browsing and visiting the cats, so they definitely had time to check on the cats. Also, the litter boxes should have been filled more to begin with. I have volunteered at and visited various animal shelters and the animals are always in better conditions than this. The same woman was also very unhelpful years ago when I wanted to adopt a cat from there and I ended up getting my cats from a different rescue. The store is also disorganized, overpriced, and poorly lit. It's no wonder that not one, but two other pet stores have opened up in this very small town and attract far more customers. Please treat those cats right!
