I was so disturbed a year or so ago when I could not find hamburger buns, hot dog buns or pizza crusts that did not contain unhealthy ingredients like seed oils! They make the cleanest ingredient breads, buns, pizza crusts etc on the market today AND they ship the day after they are baked!! free with a minimal purchase. I have had mixed success with the products from this company. A few items are great but some are awful. I do still order the things that I know are good. My real issue is the gaslighting when I try to reach out with feedback. Pumpkin pies last year were awful and had a weird spongy texture. My kids refused to eat them and they were over $60 that went straight into the trash. When I reached out to the company I was told one else has issues but when I look at the reviews there were others that had issues. When I had bread that was clearly uncooked I was told the bread is just dense. I am a baker, I know what raw dough looks like. I like having a back up for certain things when I don't have time to bake but there is a severe lack of CS and transparency. read more

The worst bread and muffins ever -- organic or otherwise. The muffins are teeny, tiny and they're so gooey that most of it sticks to the plastic wrapping and the paper cup baked in. The same goes for the cranberry bread -- half of it sticks to the pan and didn't taste that great anyway. As for the organic bread, it was mouldy after 2 days. Our home is heated at 62 degrees and this has never happened before since it's even colder by the window where bread is kept. As for service, after checking the website for contact information an email was sent. When they never responded to the email, I phoned the next business day, which was Monday afternoon due to the time zone differences. The person who answered wanted photos of the mould and goo five days later. There's no such information on their website and as if anyone saves rotten bread and inedible muffins and fruit breads. I left reviews on their site of each item and noticed that NONE WERE POSTED TO THE SITE. So if you report a problem with an order or item, they will not publish it. The ambience I would not know about, but we'll never ever suggest friends in that area of the States to use this business locally or for shipping. Terribly frustrating and not worth it. It was a complete disappointment and ruined the entire Thanksgiving celebration. read more

I have tried several products. Some are good, some are awful. Many products have a too dense texture, almost like a mouth of wet flour. Most of the cookies are not good except for the oatmeal. The vanilla wafers are the worst. The best you've ever had the website says. In what dream world? I was excited to see pies offered this year, but was disappointed again as the texture of the pumpkin and sweet potato pies are weird and gelatinous. The apple pie is better but nothing special. The small size is tiny like chicken pot pies in the freezer section for ~$8! They are overpriced and definitely not worth it. Awesome company. We get a massive shipment of bread, tortillas, and protein bars every month. Put what we are going to eat that week in the fridge and freeze everything else in the garage freezer. Bring out one item at time when ready to start consuming. Keep it in the fridge as you work through it over the week. Most Americans have no idea what bread is supposed to taste like absent of all the toxic stuff that the mass-produced carbohydrate-based "food" found on the shelf at the local grocery store has in to make it not mold for two months or more. Ask yourself: "If mold won't eat this stuff, should I?" This stuff is the way God intended, and it is different from what you're probably used to. This review is for the outlet stand they have in the pedway by Daley Center/City Hall, caught my eye on the way to City Hall but didn't have time to stop, looked so good I made a mental note to stop when I was done, glad I made the effort. Spoke to two friendly young ladies running the stand, very informative about their goods, what's in them and more importantly, what's not. They informed me their products are sold all over the city and they deliver, really now home delivery that's totes! OMG baked goods delivered to my door, I can feel the need to exercise right now. I looked over what they had, and bought some sourdough bread and even more please with spotting sourdough English muffins, I've been wanting those for over a month now since my trip to FL. There's all sorts of good stuff, the granola looked amazing and was the first thing that caught my eye. I have been ordering bread for about 6 months now and I live in CA and I absolutely LOVE it. The sourdough rye has become one of my absolute favorites! It's so good for avocado toast! (You must try it). I just received a shipment today of 4 loaves of sourdough rye, and 2 cinnamon sourdough. Some for myself and some as gifts! I previously gifted the bread and my neighbors loved it! It ships fairly quickly in a sealed insulated box. It has arrived fresh every time. I also like it because it meets a lot of the food requirements (organic, kosher, no yeast, and so on). Also I tried the muffins and pies its really good. Although I don't eat sweets like that so so, if you have sweet tooth, they will give it you. Organic Bread of Heaven is only bread my family and children will eat without feeling sick. You do not have to weary about your nose running or having any digestive issues such as flare up allergies amongst other health problems . I have no complaints regarding the products from Organic Bread of Heaven. My wife has many food allergies and their Rustic Sourdough works very well for her as it has no unnecessary ingredients or preservatives. The issue I have is with their business tactics. I received product late and damaged, but they refuse to stand up for their product and instead lied that they told me the dry ice shipping method would take longer because it goes ground. The package shipped through FedEx and really the issue was theirs. The package disappeared from tracking and the FedEx app told me it was delivered three times and it wasn't. Then it mysteriously appeared on my porch two days after the last "delivery", after another FedEx shipment Obviously we aren't going to eat baked goods with no preservatives from a damaged box that we can't even verify was in the possession of the shipper the entire time. I asked Organic Bread of Heaven to refund the money or remake the order, but they refused. To me that is someone that won't stand up for their product and lying to me is something else I will not accept. That is why I gave them a one star rating, for lack of business ethics. But please do enjoy their great products, just order them through Amazon instead of directly. Then you will get protection from these kinds of issues. The finest group of people I have dealt with. They are accommodating and have superior products. We love their challahs which remind me of those of my childhood. Moist, flavorful and just the right texture. And they freeze wonderfully so I can order a bunch. They deliver right to my house! Can't get anything like this in stores near me. I am so excited to find this place. I do not eat bread and have avoided it for years. I do eat pizza, but thats a complete food group so it doesn't count.
