I panicked and picked up what I could and then covered the area in baking powder, leaving myself a disgusting trail to deal with when I came home from work. I was reliving my horror story to my co-worker when they recommended Frank's to get the carpets cleaned professionally. I've never had a professional carpet cleaning done while I still lived in a location, but I was just saying that my youngest son is always on the floor with his legos and toys and that I was completely disgusted that he would be coming into contact with any dog poop residue from any failed attempt at cleaning I might have tried. I got on the phone with Franks around 10:30. When I asked about availability, they told me their carpet tech was going to be gone on vacation for the next week and that he was completely booked for the day. I don't know if it was the panic and anxiety in my voice, or magic carpet angels that helped me, but they looked again at the schedule and asked if I was flexible to get home and let them in about an hour. When I got to my home I was greeted by their carpet techs and they got to work, right away. They were in and out in about 30 minutes total. While they were there, they did both of my son's bedrooms and I asked if they could make a sweep in my own room as well since they were already there. The carpets looked absolutely amazing when they were done. Despite what I had done with the baking soda, everything was cleaned so well, it smelled and looked like new carpet. Price was not my immediate concern, but when I received my bill, I thought it was very reasonable. I would recommend Franks for carpet cleaning in Napa and I will definitely keep their number on hand for any future disasters.

I had Lonnie and his crew do a bathroom renovation, flooring, repaint, replace security door and he…read moredid a good job. But it took double the estimated time to finish a one bedroom unit. Lonnie tended to work very late and would miss days here and there which accounts for the delays in completing the job. Also it took 6 days just tile a bathtub surround with metal edging which he could do correctly with pictures I sent how the finish tile metal edging should look like but mistakes made the 2 day tile job to 6 days. That experience was 2/5 stars but he gave me a good deal. 3 months later I had a clogged galvanized wall mounted kitchen faucet water supply for a wall mounted faucet in a different unit of the property that clogged once and he unclogged it for $55 but it clogged again due to corrosion. When it clogged again he suggested bypassing the pipes in the wall and connecting copper pipes directly underneath the crawl space galvanized pipes to hopefully less corroded pipe. And patch the wall from the old galvanized pipes and surface mount the faucet. The faucet unfortunately was wobbly and installed without a faucet mounted plate that would have helped the stability of the faucet. He said he would come the following day to remount the faucet with the mounting plate and patch the holes up. He said to pay him first since he said I could trust that he would come back to finish the job. He supposedly came the following day but my tenant didn't open the door for him since she was sleeping and he never called to schedule a time window with my tenant. 2 days later the new faucet clogged again with low water pressure. After 3 days of my tenant waiting, he finally showed up 9 pm after begging him to check the faucet and patch up the holes in the wall. He shows up with no tools or materials to patch the hole up. He checks the faucet aerator for debris and rock and tells me you need to repipe the entire unit. He never came back to remount the faucet with the mounting plate or patch up the walls. After spending another $250 in his labor and $88 in pipes to bypass the galvanized wall pipes, it was a waste of time to follow his suggestion and he never finished the job after payment. Of course I didn't bother begging him anymore and hired a license plumber to repipe the unit and patch the walls up. Complete waste of $400 which I should have listened to a plumber to repipe the entire unit from the start. The plumber even found that Lonnie repipe was done incorrectly with a black pipe/gas pipe that would corrode in few years. Luckily my plumber fixed all his mistakes and patched the wall as well. Bad experience especially with the last job. It's unfortunate that i would not have gave him the bad review if he just did what he promised to complete. Never pay the guy if he doesn't complete the job even if you use him before. All trust goes out the door once he's paid.

I like to think that I am handy to an extent, but cutting through walls especially near an electrical outlet is not something I'm comfortable doing myself. I am super disappointed. He did not show up for an appointment. He said he lost his phone. But the lack of response started way before he lost his phone.
