Since moving in in 2021 this carpet has been torn brutalized by a puppy (now a 4 year old dog), 2 cats, various babies, parties where ppl don't take off their shoes, etc. My mom had just hired Jose to clean the carpets in HER house and was so happy with the result she gave me his number. He came w/ his coworker the next day and was in an out in about an hour (keep in mind it was just 1.5 rooms). They were fast, considerate of the space, and most importantly did a great job. Everything looked great when he was done, but the area rug was a miracle! When it comes to carpet cleaning in the Bay Area, you have many options. My project entailed a carpeted entryway and stairs with a 10-year-old-subtle-yet-annoying-mildew-smell-but-not-bad-enough-to-do-anything-about-it. The patch of carpet and stairs that continue from my entryway looked stained and dark from years of walking in and out of the same door. Jose thought he would only be able to get about 80% of the discoloration out of the carpet and couldn't promise anything because he didn't know exactly what caused the discoloration (and neither did I). Jose's treatment removed 100% of the smell and discoloration from the carpet that existed for at least 6 of the 10 years I've lived in my apartment. When I was looking for someone to clean my carpet, I asked if anyone could get rid of mold/mildew in addition to their process, which chemical they use, and if they use any kind of scrubbing machine. Most places will charge quite a bit more for simply using their wet vacuum and nothing else. Jose uses both a scrubber and wet vacuum process and the results were super effective for my project. As someone who has environmental sensitivities and a compromised immune system, this was the best investment I've made in my health. Jose was super responsive to my questions, showed up on time, took all pandemic precautions, and the results were beyond expectations. His English and Spanish are impeccable as well. The guy brought a worker to polish our marble floors inside the house and clean our cement floors outside. They fought many times and my husband had to calm them down. Eventually, the worker quit. The main guy did a horrible job. Our marbles lost their original shine and look dirty now. He also either broke and tossed out a decorative piece from our railing or placed them somewhere. He wouldn't return our call to let us know what happened to it. We felt bad for him and paid him. He said he would come back to try to do the job correctly but never did. On the day that we needed the cleaning, he came and refused to clean and left us hanging on a time sensitive cleaning. Do not recommend to work with this business.
