Being a small place, their service has always been quick and efficient and not usually a long wait (unless it is a busy lunch rush) they are always friendly. The place is always neat and tidy when sitting instore and plates/trays are tidied up as soon as they can between serving customers. I definitely recommend Wok n Noodle at Gepps Cross and love their Caramelised Pork Belly dish on the menu in store.

It came with cold salad in the bowl, and quite a large bowl for $9, and the salad was dressed with an Asian flavored dressing. There was a large quantity of vermicelli at the bottom of the bowl. The meal had a good balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy. The fish sauce was used in the perfect quantity, as too much can be overpowering. There were various condiments and some lemon wedges that customers could add to their dishes. It was a filling meal without being at all heavy. Delicious! I will definitely be back.

However, American Thai is designed for the American palate and therefore not subtle. Kin Kin was delectable food presented artfully and no nonsense. The pork belly dish was particularly delectable. We ordered the Chicken Jungle Curry, Massman Beef, Larb Pork Salad and a Phad Tai as a bit of a filler. Everything was incredibly good. I was quite surprised by the salad which was excellent, I'm generally not much of a salad consumer, but this was fresh and delicious and the pork was really good. My pick of the meal probably the Jungle curry, or perhaps the Massman, its too hard to decide. Prices are a little bit higher than you can usually expect along Gouger St, about $15-20 per dish and a little bit higher as things get fancier, however, not really unreasonable.

S&P eggplant - Appealing to the eye--they left a lot of the skin on, which breaks things up and makes for a more inviting looking dish. Lots of flavour. A little soggy. 3.5/5. If it wasn't for the ambience I'd be more impressed with Chanay--it was dead; it always seems dead. The food was quite impressive--much better than a lot of places on the strip. A lot of the other menu items here are also delicious. I absolutely love their fish and chips, and yiros! It's no Estia at Henley Square, but it's pretty close. The fish is nicely battered, the chips are thick yet crunchy with just the right amount of chicken salt, no more, no less. The yiros also has nice fresh fillings and the meat is cooked nicely. Their trading hours are also good, 11am till 8pm which allows enough time to grab food if you're feeling like a later dinner. They also recently updated their menu, which now includes chicken wings marinated in BBQ sauce, various meal deals, and they cater for Christmas orders. A downfall of this place is its steep prices, the last time I came here I bought a BBQ chicken for around $14. Overall though, it is convenient, tasty food!

When I received my meal it was gigantic. I literally went into a food coma after demolishing it all. A few of my friends have had their beef schnitzels and they said that they are amazing. On a not so bright note, the service definitely isn't fast. Expect to wait at least 10 minutes for your food. Apart from the chips and gravy, they have a massive selection. Everything you would expect from a fish and chip shop and more. They also advertise that they use cholesterol free oil to cook, but I don't know how important this is when you have shoveled down half a kilogram of chips. The shop is also open for great hours. Hungover on boxing day it was one of the only shops open in my area.
