We landed in Amsterdam and stumbled upon this place looking for something quick and easy. Luckily there was no wait and we got seated immediately. The service was fast and friendly. The place felt very lively for 9:30 dinner. Salt and pepper spare ribs 5/5. Chicken with bones 5/5 Very comforting and filling. Would come back

Quite authentic Cantonese cuisine with a few dishes from other regions. Old school. Family really enjoyed the lamb stew pot. Aubergine pot was also great. I heard their dim sum is quite good too but didn't get to try. Service was great. Potions were generous. Stairs only (no accessible entry).

While on vacation, we decided to try some Chinese food. The place is huge, 3 floors of seating space. They serve family style food. We split the food shown here. They were all very good and fresh!! Def love the old vibe of Chinese restaurant. A must try

I was so surprised to find incredible dim sum in Amsterdam! I've actually been twice because I thought it was so good! Its location is very central and the service is quick and efficient!

Came here at 10 pm with a group of 17 people. We were luck to get seating. Great place, awesome food, great service, clean and very accommodating. There was nothing to complain about and the staff had a good sense of humor. Even though it was the end of their shift they were as attentive as if the restaurant just opened. There are about 3 levels and plenty of seating. I would say this is some of the best Chinese food I've had in a while comparing it to my home town of NYC. We ordered a lot and all the dishes were awesome. Some of the dishes we had was seafood soup, shrimp dim sum, shrimp toast, fried rice all varieties, chicken, vegetable, Kung Pao Chicken, stir fried lamb chops, beef pepper steak, mussels, Beijing crispy duck, and Peking duck. I don't think you could go wrong with anything you order. They have beer, soda, mixed drinks and some specialty drinks. You can dress casually and prices were very fair. I would highly recommend them if you're in Amsterdam and want to have a great meal in a nice atmosphere.

Rounding up from 3.5. It's not a bad place to catch some dimsum right in the heart of Ams. The Window seatings also have some nice view of the street. Food is on par with most dimsum.

Wonderful place for dim sum in the city, with beautiful views of Amsterdam and the canals. The restaurant has multiple floors with plenty of seating. We got a table by the window, which was lovely. All the dim sum came out hot and delicious. My favorite was the pork and the soup dumplings.

Grabbed a reservation on same day (Monday), definitely recommend getting a reservation as you will likely get better seating (we sat by the coveted window overlooking the street bustle). Decent Chinese food with a red light premium. It was cool to try out once but we won't be returning.

Wow, quality of dim sum here is great! I'm so used to American portions, so my friend and I may have over ordered on our visit. Everything tasted clean and not too heavy. Food came out in a reasonable time and the service was good. We had reservations in case, but I think it is safe to be a regular walk in. I loved the shrimp rice roll the most as it is usually a must for me when I get dim sum! The cucumber appetizer is a little spicy and has a kick to it! Don't make the same mistake as I did and order as you go. We got a window seat, so it was nice to also have that option overlooking the street.

Me and My Family were craving for chinese foods for lunch in Amsterdam After sightseeing in the Dam Square. The restaurant quite big and modern. As it was warm outside and we were very hungry, I ordered quite a lot not knowing that the portion were generous. Our favorite were the squid with salt and pepper; mixed wok; kolokai; and mixed dim sum (however our favorite only the Hakau and deep fried wonton with prawn). For the beefsteak, we really don't like it. It was a good lunch and the food were very quickly served though it was quite a full house. In addition, the restaurant was located nearby an instagramable bridge

Really nice Guangdong food. Enjoy the afternoon tea there. The small dishes are not expensive, and the taste is pretty good.

We arrived around 4:30, and it was not a problem getting a table although the place was busy. They sat us in the window looking out on the street. The service was prompt, and the menu had a lot of options. We placed an order for seven different small dishes. In short order, the dishes arrived one by one. We were tired from the flight over, but the food picked us up. We got the chicken dumplings, the pork dumplings, the minced beef meatballs, an onion pancake, spring rolls, and a few more items. Everything seemed freshly cooked. The food was good but did not wow us. They give you soy sauce for the dim sum, but I would have liked additional sauces. I did ask for some hot sauce, and they brought me a chili oil sauce which was very good. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with any request. The price was reasonable (two of us for under $50 Euros). The decor is neat and clean. I would definitely recommend.

Seeing a place like this would normally give you pretty substandard food and banking on the Chinese aesthetics but not here. The food was way above average with terrific taste and a large variety. And the aesthetics were very pleasant - especially being on the water! FOOD: So good. We ordered a BUNCH of food knowing we would take some back with us to the hotel. Now, I know I'm coming back whenever we visit Amsterdam. We had the 3 meat plate which had roast pork, cha siu pork, and roast duck. All so good. Really loved the cha siu (which is a Chinese version of BBQ pork). Usually overcooked, this wasn't. We also ordered kung pao chicken which was delicious. Usually kung pao is filled with veggies and other fillers but this was tons of great chicken! And then there was the dim sum. So good. Just yum. And good rice. SERVICE: Good and certainly better than expected. We had a nice English speaking guy helping us out and he was great. The food was served in nice sized portions and it came out relatively quickly. They serve it as it's ready and not in any particular order. Actually made it more pleasant. COST: Reasonable for what you get which is high quality food in a beautiful setting. Definitely worth a return visit.

The restaurant was pretty busy and laid out in a weird place with the toilet up some stairs (not the most accessible). We came for dinner and sadly their bakery was closed and they were out of egg tarts. The beef fried noodles were my favorite, the wonton noodles were good, but the broth could have had more flavor. Nothing wrong with it, just maybe I expected more. Overall I'd give this place 3.5 stars because it was just fine, but since I can't do half stars I'll round it up to 4. Despite the score I gave it I'd probably still come back to try their bakery.

We love to seek the best dim sum places in different cities. We ventured into Hoi Tin today…read moreduring our journey to Amsterdam. Hoi Tin is known for their baked items and D34. Pastry with BBQ Pork was one of the highlights today. The pastry was flaky and the BBQ Pork was seasoned well. The Pan Fried Pork and Chive Dumpling (D20) was the other item worth a positive mention. The glutinous, or sticky rice, was okay. A bit too salty for me and had a charred in the wok flavor which was heavy. The dough of the rice rolls was evenly thick throughout the dish, but not light. To me, it seemed like the rice roll was made in advance as it had a very chewy texture. They look nice and uniform, but I'd rather have something that tastes good. The biggest disappointment is a dim sum staple, Shui Mai (D02). They were luke warm temperature-wise. And the filling lacked flavor. The balance between the shrimp and pork leaned heavily on the pork, which was a bit gristly. The service is standard for a traditional Chinese restaurant. The staff speak English, Dutch, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Very impressive! They are also well staffed for a Chinese restaurant. The ambiance is the standard fare for a Chinese restaurant too. Focus is on seating, not on decor. There are several dining rooms and there is a case of baked goods at the entrance. Overall, they had some good and not so good items. Pick and choose wisely!
