I really enjoy coming here for acupuncture. She really takes the time to ask about updates and how you are feeling. I usually don't have to wait long for my appointment and if I do, I am told as soon as I arrive that she is running behind and receive an apology. They never run more than 20ish minutes behind. It does take multiple consistent appointments to see results. This isn't something that happens overnight. She may ask you to come weekly and although it can be pricey I quickly was able to visit less frequently once I began seeing results. Now I go once a month and still maintain positive results. I feel very taken by this office....The visit was very expensive and nothing was acomplished. I have Chronic phenomia/athsma due to being exposed to toxic mold...I told the office this before hand. After my sit down with this lady...she told me she could not help me since I was Chronic and then charged me $187.00. This was a true waste of money, time and taken advantage of for a person not able to work due to my condition. I do not recomend this office......I got nothing out of it and what she discussed with me about diet is information I already knew.... I tend to only write reviews if I feel really strongly about something one way or the other. It's unfortunate the other person who wrote a review did not have a good experience. Mine has been quite the opposite. As with any acupuncturist, the first visit is an "intake" visit where they ask you a whole range of questions about your health and that visit does cost more money. Acupuncture/chinese herbs aren't magical cures for everything, but they can certainly really help certain problems. I came here with my second "frozen shoulder" a painful condition which unfortunately takes a few years to resolve. I hoped that I'd get a lot of relief with acupuncture, but while it does alleviate some of the pain, it's still a problem for me. What DID help me GREATLY were the herbs that I take in combination with the acupuncture. I am sleeping much better (no more need for melatonin at night!), all my systems are working better, my energy level is MUCH better, and my overall emotional well being feels very much improved. I didn't realize how lousy I was feeling until I started to feel these changes. Just feeling better in those ways is giving me more stamina to deal with my shoulder. For me, I noticed a difference within a few weeks and it's now been about 6 weeks I've been taking the dry herbs and getting acunpuncture once a week. She's made a few adjustments to my herbal formula along the way, as a result of her assessment as to how they made me feel, and each time was an improvement. Dr. Lin is, by far, the best acupuncturist/herbalist I have seen, and I've gone to a few - both in Philadelphia and in my area of S. Jersey. I like going to a doctor that was raised/trained in China. She also has a discount after so many visits. If you go, and she tells you she can't help you, that means that she can't. Rather than take your money and promise something she can't deliver on, I think that's a good thing. I don't know of any acupuncturists that offer free consultations, so unfortunately you won't know til you go see her - or spend some time online to see if historically acupuncture/chinese herbs will help with what your problem is. I've always loved acupuncture, and find it very relaxing (for anyone that has never had it - that's exactly what it is - relaxing, it doesn't hurt). She really has helped me, so I thought it was important to give her a good review. She has a nice office, has all her herbs in house, and though I haven't tried it because of my shoulder, she has Tai Chi classes once a week as well. read more

Dr. Lin has truly helped me with my migraines and hot flashes. On my initial visit, she did a thorough examination from head to toe. I would say it lasted for almost an 1.5 but it was needed in order to find out what was really going on with my body. Dr. Lin is very knowledgeable and has passion for what she does and that means a lot to me. Her bed-side manner is very professional and the atmosphere in her establishment is so peaceful resulting in good vibes throughout your whole appointment. By my 3rd visit, I noticed my hot flashes had decreased greatly (from 12 down to 3 a day)!!!! I had kept a record of how many hot flashes I was having each day so I could see if the acupuncture was really working for me; to include taking her herbs which help too!!!! Then by my 6th visit, it could have been a little sooner, my migraines/head fogginess was slowly decreasing. I was shocked and very excited about all of my results. I don't normally post reviews but I had to share this good news. For those who suffer migraines and hot flashes, you may want to give it a try. Keep in mind, you also need to watch what you eat because some of the foods you eat can trigger migraines and hot flashes. Lastly, just follow her instructions whatever you do; it works!! read more
