We just moved here and are trying all the gems in town. This has definitely been my favorite so far. You know how you know exactly what you want...but can't find it on the menu?!?? No problem here, you can completely customize your favorite creation with all of your favorite bites! I had Beef Broccoli with mushrooms and lots of water chestnuts. I was so happy! My wife ordered Hunan Chicken with Lo Mien. And ohh the Hot and Sour soup was delicious. The portions are plentiful and we have a complete meal for this weekend. The waitstaff is extremely attentive and super friendly Make it a point to stop by! Once again, this place NEVER DISAPPOINTS!! They are absolutely amazing. We did not understand why the service was so slow since we were the only ones eating inside. We were told that if we needed a knife to ask. Had to go to counter to ask for one and it took about 5 minutes to get it. I questioned about the chicken which I thought would be breast--someone came to the table and I told him it was not white meat or tender--he would tell the kitchen. We had to go to the counter to pay as the server was eating. He did say that if I wanted to wait they would cook the orange chicken w/ breast. I left a styro carton full of unedible, mystery bits of "chicken". My sister did take leftover crab rangoon home. As we have to make 4 more trips to Phlugerville in the next wks, it looks like we have to find another place to eat. read more

I did an order to go about a week or so ago and had the Sesame Chicken which was delicious, very flavorful! The egg rolls were good and not overly priced. The fried rice was good but typical. I will go back when they have the brisket fried rice special as I've heard rave reviews about it. Five stars tho mainly because the sesame chicken was so good! read more

Ive lived less than 8 blocks from this place, for over 10 years. Thanks to pflugerville foodies, i finally gave them a shot. One of my biggest regrets in life is not giving these guys a chance years ago... my wife and i tried them about 6 months ago. IT IS PHENOMENAL. plates ive tried and absolutely loved : beef and shrimp green beans, triple crown, and today i tried chicken jalopeno... that chicken jalopeno is a game changer. My wife loves the chicken fried rice and is looking forward to the sweet and sour chicken. We havent had a bad dish yet and it just keeps getting better and better! The portions are massive! The husband and I came here for the first time last week. It's nice having a good place in the Pflugerville area. Normally, we drive to Parmer/Avery Ranch or to Bee Caves/Rollingwood to satisfy Chinese cravings. I'm a big fan of pork fried rice, which isn't served everywhere, and the places that I've tried around here have underwhelmed me, until now. My gigantic bowl of pork fried rice had peas and green onions as the veggies. There was no issue with ordering it without egg. The pieces of pork were tender and HUGE! I was able to cut through them with a fork for the most part. I'm not sure if I loved how big the chunks were or not - it did make for a more difficult eating experience, but it probably also assisted a lot in the proper cook of the meat. My meals tend to be on the smaller side and I made 3 meals out of the one order. The husband had beef lo mein. He said that the beef was hit or miss in quality, with some pieces being perfect and others being chewy. His bowl of lo mein was equally impressive in size. He got 2 meals out of his order. For $3, you can add an egg roll (spring roll style wrapper - my favorite) and cup of soup. We decided to go for this - I got a veggie egg roll and he went for the wonton soup. The roll was underwhelming. It was crispy on the outside but soggy on the inside. The flavors kind of mushed together. He said his soup was ok, but he's definitely had better. Given the portion sizes, we'll probably skip this add on in the future. The sodas are 16 oz bottles served with a cup of ice. I personally love restaurants that serve cans or bottles over fountain style because you pretty much know that the flavors will be right. This place is making it in to our rotation! read more

I've been waiting on reviewing this place because I wanted it to be perfect. This place is the best by far than any other Chinese restaurants in the area. I literally eat here at least twice a week. Sometimes 3 times. I love that I could have them cook my rice without eggs. Most places have the rice precooked, and cannot accommodate my egg allergy. I usually get their what I call rainbow rice. It has everything in it pork, chicken, and shrimp, and not that cheap fake shrimp real shrimps. I haven't ventured off into too much. The eggrolls are delicious. I also get the rangoons think that's how you spell it, those are to die for. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Chinese place. read more

How the heck does this place have a rating of 4 stars? My kids and I tried this place because they have a huge following on Pflugerville foodies! I wanted to try this place, because I heard it was decent. I called to see if the they delivered to my neighborhood in pflugerville, but they said it was an 8 dollar charge to deliver to my home. So that was fine, we decided to go to the restaurant to eat instead. We showed up with 30 minutes left until closing, and immediately were treated with hostility, and an attitude as if we were out of our minds for showing up so late. The hostess made a point to tell us that they closed at 9, and looked to the cooks as if to say are you willing to cook another meal? We were about to sit down when i noticed the hostess make a gesture to the cooks by throwing her arms up in an agitated fashion. At that point I decided to not take a chance with my meal and left the restaurant. We had dinner at Thai spoon in round rock which as excellent as usual. I've heard good things about oriental kitchen, but this experience was enough for me. Sorry, but you run a restaurant. If people show up 30 minutes before closing on a Friday you deal with it, and you serve them with a smile. So now not only will I never eat this place, because but I will make it my mission to make sure everyone knows how bad the service. read more

Who wrote all these great reviews? It's one of the worst Chinese food experiences I've had and my bar in this category is loooow. The food is below average. Friend rice was bland, hot and sour was crazy salty, orange steak dish had a gamey taste to it. Service was ok, but not great. You have to ask for chopsticks...at an Asian restaurant... Every standard condiment is kept in the back, so you have ask for those too and they bring them out in cheap paper cups. Bathrooms were dirty. And the interior is like a charter school cafeteria. Found my new Asian or should I say oriental restaurant. I ordered their chicken lo mein. I received a soup which is hot and sour. I always grade an Asian restaurant by their soups. If the soup is good. Everything else usually is. Their hot and sour soup is delicious. Especially when it's fresh and hot. Their lo mein is really good. Plenty of noodle and a balance of chicken. Not too many veggies to take away from the main reason you want to eat lo mein. The noodles. They are stir fried and have that lo mein smokey flavor that really makes you want to have another bite. The chicken is flavorful and tender. Easily chewable. I added hot oil to the lo mein because I love spicy. Overall for my first experience. I love it and will become a patron. Ps. So, you're at a friend's house in Pflugerville playing Cards Against Humanity and suddenly Chinese food sounds good. Look no further, friends, for this place is like "Stacy's mom" because it's got it going on! With minimal human input, you can place an order online. Place your order, input some credit card info, and in less time than most pizza places, you're getting carb loaded. The food is good. Between the four of us, we had three entrees and one appetizer. They do inexpensive Americanized Chinese food right (and read my Yelp profile -- it's my food vice). The sesame chicken, General Tso's chicken, Hunan shrimp, and steamed dumplings are all good. Just as importantly, you get a full Styrofoam container of the entrée and a Chinese takeout box of rice with it. They also gave us plenty of condiments, fortune cookies, utensils, and even some fried wonton chips. It's not gourmet. It's not authentic. But it's cheap, fast, and good. I saw the reviews and thought it would be worth the drive from Round Rock. I ordered General Tso's Chicken with fried rice and the Vegetable Fried Rice. When I got home, I realized they did not give me what I ordered. I was very disappointed. We weren't sure if the chicken was General Tso's or something else. The rest was completely wrong. When I called to ask if they switched the order, the phone rang nearly ten times with no answer. Giving them 3 starts because my husband did like the chicken. We had to check out the new Chinese restaurant in this location. The lady who took our order was very friendly and provided quick service to our table. We ordered the lunch specials. Great price at $6.95. You get a choice of 13 different items for that price and it includes a choice of 3 different soups (wonton, egg drop, or hot n sour), an eggroll plus fried, steamed brown, or steamed white rice. They brought out a small bowl of crunchies with the soup... nice touch. I ordered the General Tso and wifey got the Triple Delights (beef, chicken, & shrimp) that I helped her eat. The wontons in our soup were a little doughy tasting but the broth was good. My chicken had some rather chewy pieces. My wife also had a few chewy bits of meat. The dishes had good flavor. The ice tea was really good. But overall we'd give it a rating of 3 stars. They have only been open for a short time & we may have to give them another try in a few months. read more

FINALLY a decent Chinese restaurant in Pflugerville! The staff are friendly and attentive. I called to make a pick up order and everything was up to par. It's difficult to find decent egg rolls and theirs are pretty high up there on my list of favorite egg rolls. I didn't care for the won ton soup. While the broth was delicious, the dumplings were way too doughy. The rice was also a bit dry, but had good flavor. Their Chinese donuts are the bomb. The basil shrimp thoroughly lit me up and had great flavor. I look forward to returning again and hope they then have egg drop soup, as they were out when I first ordered from here. read more

These guys were open on New Years Eve, so that was a bonus. I ordered for carry out. The food was ready in about 15 minutes - sweet! I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and Crab Puffs (Crab Rangoon). The price was expected: about $8-$9 per item. The Crab Puffs usually come with 8 puffs, so I had a half order. Just ask; they'll do it for you. The portions were huge, and everything was tasty and not too greasy. I also did the "morning after"cold test, and it passed. Nothing like Chinese food for breakfast! Whenever I'm in Pflugerville and craving Chinese, these guys are now my go-to place. Next test: lo mein. read more

The menu looks familiar, but they add some nice touches to make the food unique and taste much better than most Chinese places. Quantities are generous; we ended up taking a lot of food home and are still enjoying it. I really liked the fried calamari, it was incredibly tender, not rubbery at all. Combo fried rice was very good, meaty, and they have a spicy option as well. Crab puffs were larger and cheesier than most. Green beans were fresh, flavorful and not over-cooked. We also tried the orange chicken, garlic fish, and triple crown - no complaints on anything we tried. Many of the dishes are on the slightly spicy side, and indicated on the menu. Basil fish was one of the spicier, and very good. Hot and sour soup was well-liked though I didn't try it - good sized bowl for $2. They had some sweet-and-sour chicken and fries for my toddler, but he also tried and liked the other dishes. Service was fast and friendly (we went in for a late lunch on the weekend). Had to try this new Chinese restaurant that opened up near us . The waitress was very nice and told us how she cooked the food to make it healthy . Steamed brown rice to make fried rice and no msg in most all dishes . But some dishes she has to add a little and some sauces has it already . We like to share our meals so we got the combo vermicelli noodles and combo fried rice . Both were very tasty and the portions are of a good size for the price . Ordered some take out tonight and everything was cooked perfectly. I had the Kung Pao Beef which was tender and flavorful in a dark garlicky sauce, but not very spicy, so ask them to kick it up a notch if you want more heat. I asked them to substitute the broccoli that usually comes in the dish with bell peppers, and they did so with no problem or up-charge. I also appreciate it that you can order brown rice instead of white without the annoying $1 extra that most places impose. This restaurant is all about giving the customer what they want, even stating on the menu, "Dishes not on the menu may be made available upon request" and "...prepared to your taste," in addition to being able to request no MSG, cornstarch, sugar, salt, etc., and level of spice desired. I also took home the Chicken Vegetable Soup for later, a meal unto itself and also not found in most Chinese restaurants. As with all of their soups, the broth is hearty and tasty. I love soup, and there's nothing more disappointing than a watery, flavorless broth. I even really enjoy the egg rolls here and order them on purpose, when at most restaurants I usually just nibble on one because it's on my plate. On take-out orders, they actually give you containers of real sweet and sour sauce and hot mustard, not those pre-made squeeze packets.
