Ordered food tonight and asked for no Onions because my Spouse has an allergy to them. They kept telling me it was cabbage but tasted myself and forsure Onions.

Local family owned. Food was great and hospitality even more so. Great tea to end the me. Will definitely be back

This is what I mean when I say extra egg. I thought the food was just ok. The Budda Delight was good but the portion size was not enough. I just tried this place because I was in the area, it wasn't bad but it also wasn't great.

The food is always good. The portions are very big so you will be leaving with leftover for the next day. When you order delivery, the portions are the same as if you were there at the restaurant! That's a plus! The service is fair but could be more enthusiastic with the customers. The location is within a shopping center, but their sign is visible. My go-to Chinese restaurant!

I just noticed the sign a day ago while getting physical therapy near by. I have been here 4 years ago because it is on the other side of town for me. I wanted to give it a try so I went today. First problem was when you enter the lights are off. I really thought I walked into a closed restaurant. The person behind the counter said hello and I asked if they were open. He explained that they put everything in to go containers but if I want to eat inside I can. I hate eating in my car so that was an easy choice. I ordered and paid and the food came quickly. It was hot and fresh but the serving size was smaller than I remember from the past visit. It also was lacking seasoning in my opinion.

I ordered the combination fried rice that's on the lunch special. The food was hot and quite delicious. The serving was more than I expected for the lunch special. ($2 extra shrimps) The service was very good my server spoke little English but the manager was right there to back her up. I was asked several times if I needed a refill on my drink. The ambiance was a calm setting dimmed lights and music playing that set the mood for a good lunch. I gave them 4 stars because they didn't have lemonade and the sweet and sour sauce was a little too watery for me. But I'll surely recommend them and I'll be back to try something else on the menu. Oh they were very reasonable about substituting my soup and egg roll.

Pretty simple and what you would expect. Very good prices and quick service. However the food could use improvement. Very hot but very little meat provided and mostly vegetables. Would come here again for quick lunch.

EWWWWWW I am absolutely disgusted right now. My boyfriend and I placed an order online for China Dragon at 4:37pm for an order of Orange Chicken, an order of Sesame Chicken and a side order of Crab Ragoons. When the food arrived I ate a couple bites and then went to dish out the rice to add to my Sesame Chicken bowl to eat it all together and right in the middle of the rice I found a crumbled up receipt mixed in with it. The worst part? It was another customers Egg Drop Soup from earlier in the day (5 hours earlier) I called the restaurant to ask for a refund since I literally only had 2 bites before being absolutely disgusted. The manager wasn't very helpful or apologetic about what happened. At first he was trying to pin it on us that it was our receipt (one we didn't order soup and two we placed our order nearly 5 hours after this one) and then when I got upset and once again pointed out the time on the receipt and the item on the receipt not being from our order he was trying to come up with an excuse as to why it happened by saying the machine just printed the wrong time. WHAT? He then told us to contact Grub Hub for a refund since we ordered on China Dragons website they couldn't refund it themselves. We asked if they could just do a direct refund vs. going through GH and he would not let my boyfriend or I get a word in, he kept speaking in a different language, and then hung up on us. We called China Dragon back and asked why he hung up on us and he said "I'm calling Grubhub for you". Irregardless of how he treated us and handled the situation we still thanked him for calling GH for us. We decided to also call Grub Hub ourselves to ask for a refund and come to find out GH said China Dragon called regarding a refund for us and they told Grub Hub the refund is due to an issue with their menu and they "can't fulfill our order". Completely dishonest, unprofessional and unapologetic on China Dragon's part. We will never eat here ever again.

The catfish and fried items weren't greasy, rancid, or carrying that old-oil taste that ruins a meal. For a place centered around fried food, that's important. Beyond that, the experience was pretty underwhelming. The food was bland and forgettable, cafeteria-quality at best. The salad bar was sparse with limited choices, and nearly everything being served on Styrofoam makes the entire place feel cheap and dated. Service was adequate but nothing memorable. Nobody was rude, but there wasn't much attention to detail or hospitality either. What really stood out was the condition of the facility. The restroom looked neglected, and the sink was partially detached from the wall. When customers see maintenance issues that obvious, it raises questions about the overall upkeep of the restaurant. I don't expect fine dining from a catfish buffet, but I do expect decent food, a clean facility, and some pride in presentation. Aside from the fryer oil being in good shape, there wasn't much here that would make me want to return. Pros: Clean-tasting fryer oil, food served hot. Cons: Bland food, limited salad bar, heavy use of Styrofoam, mediocre service, facility needs maintenance.

I don't care what anyone says... this is the BEST SEAFOOD BAG BOILS around Austin... yes I know…read morethis is Round Rock but we live in Austin & have tried EVERY place here so we started surrounding areas. The service is top tier! The staff comes by to make sure you're good constantly so you never go long waiting for refills or to get some attention for an issue. The vibe is great, TVs on & the place is always clean. I read a review complaining about the napkins & buckets that's STUPID af. Don't come to a seafood place if tha bothers you. I love that they had the whole roll of brown paper towels so we don't have to keep asking. The buckets are super helpful to clear out the soft shells of the shrimp instead of piling on a plate. The FLAVOR is ALWAYS ON POINT!!! We even tried the other location but the Round Rock location beats it! We always go for date night. It's much lower priced than @Boiling Crab & taste 100x better than their soggy shrimp! Hook & Reel is just a hard pass... it's not flavorful. LA Crawfish is not good & Krab Kings is overpriced for mid food. I make my own seafood boils & ppl would rather buy from me than go to the other locations. Surfin Crab is the only one who beats me! Most times I can't even get a pic because we dive in! Oooh & food is always fast!

I walked into Surfing Crab hoping for one of those unapologetically messy seafood boils -- the kind…read morewhere you're tying your hair back, rolling up your sleeves, and mentally preparing to smell like garlic butter for the rest of the day. Sadly... this wasn't that experience. I ordered the boil with a pound of crab, head‑on shrimp, squid, corn, and those thin little sausage slices you see at most Cajun spots. The seasoning landed squarely in the middle -- not offensive, not impressive, just sitting there like it was waiting for someone to give it direction. I asked for hot, but what I got tasted more like a medium that didn't want to commit. And the shrimp? Head‑on and not deveined. That gave them a gamy, muddy undertone that took away from the whole boil. At this price point, deveining shouldn't be a luxury add‑on. We also tried the appetizer sampler -- calamari, egg rolls, cheese sticks -- and everything tasted suspiciously similar, like it all took the same little swim in the same fryer without a break. Nothing was terrible, but nothing had personality. These were the kind of appetizers you can find anywhere, and not the kind you remember later. My partner ordered the shrimp po'boy, and while the portion was generous, the breading overwhelmed the shrimp. He ended up peeling most of it off just to get to the actual protein. When the breading becomes the main character, that's a sign the dish needs editing. Now, the mixed drinks? Those were actually good -- balanced, not overly sweet, and honestly the highlight of the meal. And I have to give credit where it's due: our waitress was attentive, friendly, and checked on us consistently without hovering. She did everything right. The food just didn't match her level of service. And look... I'm not trying to be dramatic, but I've had better crab at HEB during crawfish season for a fraction of the price. When your grocery‑store boil is hitting harder than the restaurant version, that's saying something. Overall, Surfing Crab wasn't a disaster, but it wasn't memorable either. For the price and the concept, I expected more depth, more spice, and more care in the prep. This one's a pass for me -- especially when I know I can get fresher, better‑seasoned seafood elsewhere without the premium price tag.
