We decided to come here for lunch at noon on a Tuesday based on many of the good reviews. There were only three customers in the place, but they do a lot of to go business. Upon entry, we are surprised how dimly lit the place was and the fact that ceiling fans make up for the lack of AC. The ambiance consists of a modest dining room with Asian music playing loudly overhead. We were handed their lunch menus, which includes soup, egg roll, and the main course. The hot and sour soup was some of the best I've had. The main course portions were a little less than I expected, but nonetheless prepared fresh, hot and worth the money. As for drink offerings, all they have is water and canned drinks, no alcoholic beverages. Lunch for two people including tip was under $30. The dessert option consists of a fortune cookie. We ordered delivery and the food tasted spoiled. Absolutely inedible. I think their walk-in must have been broken. I prefer calling restaurants to allow them a chance to resolve things, and we did that. The person who picked up the phone told us we would be refunded. A week later, we still didn't have a refund. We initiated a chargeback with our bank, and the restaurant disputed the chargeback. Give us back our $80. read more

The food is always good. The portions are very big so you will be leaving with leftover for the next day. When you order delivery, the portions are the same as if you were there at the restaurant! I just noticed the sign a day ago while getting physical therapy near by. I have been here 4 years ago because it is on the other side of town for me. I wanted to give it a try so I went today. First problem was when you enter the lights are off. I really thought I walked into a closed restaurant. The person behind the counter said hello and I asked if they were open. He explained that they put everything in to go containers but if I want to eat inside I can. I hate eating in my car so that was an easy choice. I ordered and paid and the food came quickly. I ordered the combination fried rice that's on the lunch special. The food was hot and quite delicious. The serving was more than I expected for the lunch special. ($2 extra shrimps) The service was very good my server spoke little English but the manager was right there to back her up. I was asked several times if I needed a refill on my drink. The ambiance was a calm setting dimmed lights and music playing that set the mood for a good lunch. I gave them 4 stars because they didn't have lemonade and the sweet and sour sauce was a little too watery for me. But I'll surely recommend them and I'll be back to try something else on the menu. EWWWWWW I am absolutely disgusted right now. My boyfriend and I placed an order online for China Dragon at 4:37pm for an order of Orange Chicken, an order of Sesame Chicken and a side order of Crab Ragoons. When the food arrived I ate a couple bites and then went to dish out the rice to add to my Sesame Chicken bowl to eat it all together and right in the middle of the rice I found a crumbled up receipt mixed in with it. The worst part? It was another customers Egg Drop Soup from earlier in the day (5 hours earlier) I called the restaurant to ask for a refund since I literally only had 2 bites before being absolutely disgusted. The manager wasn't very helpful or apologetic about what happened. At first he was trying to pin it on us that it was our receipt (one we didn't order soup and two we placed our order nearly 5 hours after this one) and then when I got upset and once again pointed out the time on the receipt and the item on the receipt not being from our order he was trying to come up with an excuse as to why it happened by saying the machine just printed the wrong time. WHAT? He then told us to contact Grub Hub for a refund since we ordered on China Dragons website they couldn't refund it themselves. We asked if they could just do a direct refund vs. going through GH and he would not let my boyfriend or I get a word in, he kept speaking in a different language, and then hung up on us. We called China Dragon back and asked why he hung up on us and he said "I'm calling Grubhub for you". Irregardless of how he treated us and handled the situation we still thanked him for calling GH for us. We decided to also call Grub Hub ourselves to ask for a refund and come to find out GH said China Dragon called regarding a refund for us and they told Grub Hub the refund is due to an issue with their menu and they "can't fulfill our order". Completely dishonest, unprofessional and unapologetic on China Dragon's part. We will never eat here ever again. read more

I placed an order at 4pm to be delivered at 7pm. Instead, they decided to make the order and deliver it before 5pm. My fiancé just happened to be home - no one is usually here at this time. Ordering in is a rare treat for us. Now I get to eat reheated food. The delivery driver even said he realized before he rang our bell that it's early. Why not turn around, go back, and actually execute the order as I made it? Of course the restaurant has made no effort to make this right. They haven't called, haven't texted. No attempt at all to make up for their mistake. Almost $90 just to eat reheated food. How disrespectful. There are several other Chinese places to order from, maybe choose to order from one who actually cares about getting it right. read more

Mixed bag on the food. The Lemon Chicken was very good. Not too much batter, moist and tender chicken with a nice lemon sauce. The Sesame Chicken was okay. Seemed more like chicken in a brown sauce with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The eggroll was terrible. I took one bite and threw the rest in the trash. This is my 4th and final visit. The 1st time the food was very flavorful, fresh and plentiful. Each visit has gone downhill (with a common denominator of no seasoning/flavorless). Tonight I ordered and picked up to go (if I had eaten in I would have returned everything). I ordered an appetizer of fantail shrimp. The breading was so thick compared to the shrimp and ZERO seasoning. It came with a thimble sized sweet & sour sauce (I had asked for an additional side, but when they wanted to charge .60 I said "forget it". The sesame chicken was again flavorless but more disappointing was that the "chicken" was a mystery dark meat (? I think but all we could really taste was the breading). The combo fried rice wasn't seasoned AT ALL (a common theme - NO seasoning) and while the portion size was ok, it was just so mehhhh (the shrimp tasted a bit "fishy"). We ended up tossing it and ordered a pizza. What a waste of $30! Edit-60 mins later , everyone has bad stomach pains. I'm taking the rest back tomorrow for a FULL REFUND! I'm a little hesitant on how to review this, because there are huge pros and huge cons, therefore creating a generically neutral review. As a reminder, I evaluate most Chinese restaurants using one dish (so I can easily compare in apples-to-apples fashion): ma po tofu. PROS: - Crab rangoons are perfection. Crispy but not burnt, filling is plentiful, warm and tasty. - The menu item is actually "pork with mapotofu", but I'm vegetarian so I requested no pork. The restaurant took the initiative to replace the pork with mushrooms so I would still get my money's worth! - Super speedy delivery! I ordered online around 7:30pm and the food was here by 8:00pm, well ahead of the 8:30pm delivery estimate. - Steamed rice was well cooked - not too mushy but not super dry either. CONS: - For those who don't know, mapotofu comes from the Sichuan province in the upper northwest region of China, and is characterized by the use of the Sichuan peppercorn (zanthoxylum). China Dragon's mapotofu doesn't use this traditional peppercorn sauce and has a rather... off taste. I'm trying really hard to figure out how to describe it, and the best way I can is that is tastes too "Southern" instead of "Northern". The flavour feels too "fresh" instead of the tingly spiciness that is typical of northern Chinese fare. I suspect this might be because of the mushroom substitute, though. (Mushrooms typically aren't included in this dish). EDIT: another reason for the "off" flavour - I found sweet onions in the dish. Sweet onions do not belong in mapotofu. - Portion sizes are rather small compared to some other restaurants in the area (see my photo; the container was very shallow, probably an inch deep). - Roommate bought the lemon chicken with pineapple toppings... there were three cubes of pineapple :( - Delivery is a little pricey and the costs can really add up. It cost us $30 for two entrees and one appetizer. Not a horrible experience, but there are SO many Chinese takeout places in this area that you can probably find one that does it for you. read more

Yuck my initial thought- you all know the rumor of cars hanging around Chinese restaurants- but my son said the food was good!- The FOOD is good‼ Minutes later the delivery guy came out and walked to the side of the building with a napkin in his hands with food in napkin! I really got weary! I walked in the restaurant and there were 4-5 bags already tied up and one of them bags were mine. I proceeded to pay. I noticed the DELIVERY driver man came in the store walked to the back and 1 minute came to the front near cash register! I asked who cat was that, the lady and another man said -the bakery's! There's a place around the corner from here that has some of the best fried rice I've ever had cuzz they put brisket in it. Problem is it costs $16 FREAKING dollars... for fried rice!! Their wing prices seemed a little low, and there were actually more than one choice! Regular wings $5, Dragon breath wings$5....I decided to order both. The regular wings were just that- regular wings... nice and crispy, tender and juicy on the inside. Now the dragon breath wings...OMG.... for $5 these are some of the best wings I've ever had! Warning though...I made a mess of them! They were juicy, tender, and had a nice spice to them. I also ordered the ribs for $7, and they were good. They were cooked perfectly and the flavoring was nice. Now I didn't order any dinners, but I will next time.
