What should have been a simple explanation regarding my credits and gift cards turned into a confusing, rude, and stressful encounter because of constant interruptions and an unprofessional attitude. Customer service basics and respectful communication go a long way, especially in a spa environment where clients are supposed to leave feeling cared for and relaxed. At the end of the day, the front desk is the face of the location and often the first and last impression clients leave with. Unfortunately, this experience left me unable to recommend this location to others.

Over the past few months, they have canceled my last three original appointments--often with little notice. I understand that emergencies happen, but a pattern like this shows a serious lack of respect for clients' time and schedules. Each time I've booked, I've arranged my day around the appointment, only to have it canceled at the last minute. It's disappointing and inconvenient, especially when I'm relying on these sessions for stress relief and physical care. At this point, I can't rely on this clinic to provide consistent service, which defeats the purpose of booking in the first place. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, professional care.

I've been going to Abby for years and she manages to make my hair look amazing every time. She is good at providing suggestions on cuts. It was funny when I was looking for hair styles for my friends wedding, in n that she was helping me decide on 2 different half up dos. When she saw the pictures of the final product she was so disgusted. Needless to say, when I had an event later that same year that was black tie, Abby did my hair on the way that it was supposed to be for my friends wedding. I get my eyebrows done by Roza. She does a great job and they always look amazing. She can tell when someone is touching them (see friends wedding and the makeup artist who touched them). I will continue to come back.

The receptionist was friendly. I was able to book a same day appointment. I was booked with a very sweet girl named Alexa. Alexa gave me a perfect haircut. I mean absolutely perfect. My hair is babyfine and there is a ton of it on my head. I've tried several salons in Rochester, Rochester Hills, and Royal Oak. Alexa gave me the best haircut I've ever had. She was sweet and fun to talk to. But most importantly, she didn't spend the 45 minutes trying to sell me products! I don't know about you but I absolutely hate sitting in a stylist's chair and listening to a 45 minute sales pitch for the products the salon is selling. I just want to lay back, have someone wash my hair, and forget the world exists. Alexa delivered. And I got to walk out with hair that was perfectly cut. Oh, and as an added bonus Alexa does a fantastic blow dry! My locks were transformed into glossy, bouncy tresses. I didn't have to go home and re-style my hair!

First the essential oils placed under my face gave me quite a migraine. I have a herniated disc in my neck which I acknowledge that sometimes that could be an issue but for me this has never been a problem during massages. For some reason she placed several, and I mean several, hot towels on my neck which was immediately pretty painful as this was heavy to be placed with heat on a herniated disc, no matter how healed. Then she quite literally covered me in lotion, like a ridiculous amount where I couldn't even get dressed, barely touched me and ran out of the room, almost before I could even ask her for a towel (I was literally drenched in lotion) and before the session was supposed to be over. So I was left in more pain plus a migraine with a shortened session and covered in lotion, and I did notice that she didn't greet me afterwards to offer me water and make sure I'm doing good like they usually do here. This was all very strange and bizarre, but I assumed maybe this had to do with inexperience and wanted to leave feedback as to why this wasn't the best experience, especially since this is a luxury service that wasn't cheap. The owner called me the next day, and she was genuinely one of the most hostile and unpleasant people I had ever talked to. I am not a confrontational person, and I do think I was being reasonable in leaving feedback. She called me and told me that there is absolutely no way that any of this happened, and that she "welcomes me to not return". I told her that this was unfortunate to hear because I had such positive experiences in the past there, to which she told me I didn't go there enough times to have that much of an opinion. She kept telling me that I am more than welcome to not return, and at this point I wasn't going to but I just wanted her to tell me directly that she was banning me from returning for having a negative experience. She was avoiding saying explicitly that I could not return, but she kept insisting I was welcome to go elsewhere. I told her I would probably leave a review of the situation, to which she said "well that's not very nice of you". I told her it's not very nice to ban me for expressing concerns with my session. She hung up the phone abruptly, and the next day another staff member called and offered to reschedule me with someone else. I politely declined. I also want to mention that the ramp to get in the door is extremely inaccessible, I am a wheelchair user and it's borderline hazardous the way it is oriented. If I am to open the door, I have to be on the ramp which is difficult, or the door will push me down the stairs. If you use a mobility aid or have chronic pain I would not recommend, not because of the staff but 100% because of the owner.
