So.. since the last time I visited Embers, the ownership of the place changed hands. We had to check out the newer menu. (New to us) and check out some of the newer side dishes as well as try the quality of the meat. Thing is, with prices skyrocketing and things becoming ever more a Luxury to eat out. Now, I have to say, the meat is amazing. The grill does feel smaller but it's changed frequently and the quality of the marbling is amazing. We paid the bit extra for some more expensive meats and some alcohol and it was a nice treat. There were 5 of us so it definitely wasn't cheap but well worth it. Since I've been here so much, I feel like I can ask the rhetorical question of, "is this place worth it in 2025, going into 2026... and the answer is yes. Though the owners changed, the menu changed a bit (for the better) if you have the money, it's the best Korean BBQ place in SWFL. read more

Dinner was entertaining & yummy! Our server & chef were so friendly! We got the toro sushi roll which was definitely our favorite of the evening! I went out with a girlfriend Saturday night to Ember steakhouse upon recommendation by a coworker. We were so pleasantly surprised and blown away with the attention to details and hospitality from the entire staff. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes and flow of the Korean BBQ experience and everyone from the bus staff and food runners to the managers made the dinner perfect. The quality of the main and side dishes were excellent and we were super happy the staff cooked most of the food for us (as we don't trust ourselves cooking). Libby the manager stayed to chat with us and give us an intro to cooking class. She made us feel so comfortable and I would come back just to see her again. Like my coworker, I couldn't recommend this establishment more. The restaurant was always attended to in terms of cleanliness and debris, the variety of beverages were plentiful, and quality of the meats were fabulous. The BBQ situation is fun and a great experience for those new to it. They do a great job. Believe it or not their burger steals the show. So good. The pork belly boa, edamame and the ice cream are also winners one menu. Also- the bbq options are expensive yes, but we find that we can order a smaller portion for the number of people we have because it is a LOT of food. Never had a bad experience here. Amazing loved this place came here on Saturday Apr 26th first time coming here the service was amazing all the staff helped us brought us water,cooked the food for us. We ordered the Korean BBQ for 3 and enjoyed the meat selection. Our server instructed us on how to do Korean BBQ and checked on us many times. Unlimited Korean banchan (side dishes) which included broccoli, potato salad, fish cakes, pickled radish, and kimchi cucumber (fantastic!). Comes with a spicy miso-like soup and salad to start. So many fun and unique elements alongside rice and sauces for the meats. Even their truffle Parmesan fries were some of the best I had! Can't believe I've lived here for years and this was my first time visiting Embers. It was for my bday dinner and it was such a fun experience. Rob our server gave us the run down of the menu, how the courses play out, what's included, what's not, how to cook the meats, etc. which was appreciated since you're sitting in front of a hot grill. We did the marinated feast for two and it was so much food. The endless little dishes are picked veggies and kimchi were fun. They will refill as needed. The salad and soup were delish! Of course the meat was the highlight. It was tender and the marinade amazing. While this place isn't inexpensive it was a fun special occasion! Excellent!!!! We celebrated my son's 17th birthday. I had made reservations on a Tuesday. We were running 15 minutes late and I called no problem seating. Choose all you could eat option. Our waitress, Abby, was so attentive the whole time. All of the staff was very attentive. Food was absolutely excellent. Everything was super fresh and were brought right away. The meat used for KBBQ is really good quality. I will mention that the galbi (bone in short rib) was very fatty. I enjoyed the pork belly and brisket though. We ordered Poseidons snack for a starter and if you like uni this is a MUST. Raw oyster, uni and caviar- It was the perfect bite. We also started with the hamachi crudo. I wasn't a fan of the sweet topping but the fish did taste fresh. My only complaints about this place is that for their banchan (small side dishes), it didn't come with the traditional kimchi. I've never seen a Korean restaurant NOT include kimchi as part of the banchan. So we ordered it as a side dish for an additional charge. The portion was huge! We also got a side of fresh jalapeño for an additional charge. Our server was good about letting us know ahead about the additional cost but I really think a Korean restaurant should have these included in the price of the dinner. For us, kimchi and jalapeño are non negotiable accompaniments for kbbq. read more

Everything was perfect this night. We did have to wait a few monture but it was well worth it. The front desk helped my friend and I understand the menu as it was our first time. Then as we were getting seated, we requested a different table with better lighting and they were more than happy to accommodate. It was the perfect table the second time around. We were then waited by Rob who was FANTASTIC! He cooked our meat for us and helped us understand the method for the next time. He provided great recommendations on the Wine and food.
