So.. since the last time I visited Embers, the ownership of the place changed hands. We had to check out the newer menu. (New to us) and check out some of the newer side dishes as well as try the quality of the meat. Thing is, with prices skyrocketing and things becoming ever more a Luxury to eat out. Now, I have to say, the meat is amazing. The grill does feel smaller but it's changed frequently and the quality of the marbling is amazing. We paid the bit extra for some more expensive meats and some alcohol and it was a nice treat. There were 5 of us so it definitely wasn't cheap but well worth it. Since I've been here so much, I feel like I can ask the rhetorical question of, "is this place worth it in 2025, going into 2026... and the answer is yes. Though the owners changed, the menu changed a bit (for the better) if you have the money, it's the best Korean BBQ place in SWFL.

Dinner was entertaining & yummy! Our server & chef were so friendly! We got the toro sushi roll which was definitely our favorite of the evening! We also got the short rib to grill which was very delicious with the rice, mushrooms, shishito peppers, & kimchi! Only bummer was that we felt it was slightly pricey for what we got.

A little expensive but super fresh meats. Great bonchons, but kimchee is extra. Kimchee jegae was excellent. They will help you cook your bbq which is nice. Scott or waiter was very helpful and accommodating.

I went out with a girlfriend Saturday night to Ember steakhouse upon recommendation by a coworker. We were so pleasantly surprised and blown away with the attention to details and hospitality from the entire staff. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes and flow of the Korean BBQ experience and everyone from the bus staff and food runners to the managers made the dinner perfect. The quality of the main and side dishes were excellent and we were super happy the staff cooked most of the food for us (as we don't trust ourselves cooking). Libby the manager stayed to chat with us and give us an intro to cooking class. She made us feel so comfortable and I would come back just to see her again. Like my coworker, I couldn't recommend this establishment more. The restaurant was always attended to in terms of cleanliness and debris, the variety of beverages were plentiful, and quality of the meats were fabulous. Thank you Libby and the entire team at Ember!

Server for two people. Worth the price!

We had so much fun! I had never been to a Korean barbecue and this experience was great! For us shared one of the feasts, which was plenty of meat for all of us. The mail comes with unlimited sides, and there was plenty to eat. If you've never been to yourself a favor and try this experience. The staff was amazing big shout out to the staff that served us. Omar, Joey and Rob, Marshall!!!!

The server/ cook Max is so funny and really made the experience so much better. The food was delicious and was very filling. The atmosphere was really nice and it wasn't very loud. The only downside was the prices but it was so worth it. Some of the best food I have had at a restaurant.

This was delicious, it's the one with pineapple and tequila!

We started with the mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer with tomatoes. It was an interesting dish and definitely well executed, though I expected a few more tomatoes on the plate. The prosciutto seemed lightly pan-seared, which gave it a crispy texture that I really enjoyed, and the bread was wonderfully crisp as well. Overall, a solid starter. The main event for me was the Kona-crusted bone-in New York strip, cooked medium. I've had this dish at other Capital Grille locations, and it continues to be one of my favorites. The Kona coffee crust paired with the sauce is such a great flavor combination. The steak itself was a very good cut of meat, tender and not tough at all. I personally would have liked a little more sauce, but I can also understand that the coffee marinade and crust are meant to be the star. For dessert, I had the chocolate espresso cake, and it was excellent. It struck a great balance: rich and decadent without being overly sweet. The service was also excellent. I feel bad that I can't remember our server's name, but he mentioned he was fairly new, around seven months in, and he did a wonderful job. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. We even left him a taste of our bottle of wine to help him end his shift on a good note. These are the things that keep us coming back. But the sirloin? The quality seems to have declined. And this location always overcooks the steak. Always. When you order a medium, you expect a medium, not something closer to well done. It's frustrating because the sides are dialed in and the service is solid, but the steak is supposed to be the main event. Still a reliable spot for a decent meal, and you can't beat the value compared to other steakhouses. Just maybe consider ordering your steak a step under what you actually want. The Verdict: Texas Roadhouse delivers on the sides and service, but the sirloin quality has slipped and this location struggles to nail the steak temp. Four stars because the overall experience is still good, but they need to tighten up on that grill.
