Wednesday evening I was in town again and had the awesome opportunity to stop by Origin Thai again and introduce my boss. Amazing as they remembered me from the last trip a few months ago and remembered I liked Old Fashions. Wow still amazing service. Still amazing food. Still nice clean neat restaurant tha seems to be becoming very popular. Love the place and ready for next trip in. Yes I had the Shrimp Pad Thai again. It is great so why change?

Was in the area and ordered a take out. We ordered Pad See Ew, Pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles, origin salad, beef jerky and the dumplings. The Thai hot was really hit the point, so yumm. The curry in the pineapple fried rice was quite dominant, we prefer mild. The peanut dressings for the salad was delicious. The size of their dumplings were smaller compared to other Thai place. But overall we enjoyed everything! We'll be back whenever we're visiting.

Drunken Noodles with shrimp. The best amount of spice, wide soft noodles, vegetables. Every bit of this was delicious!

This spot is amazing!!! Enjoyed dinner on Friday night. We got there close to 5:30 and they had a steady crowd. They are a bit small on the inside, max occupancy is 49. The bar is large, so ample sitting there. They have a simple menu, but the dishes are terrific! We ordered the Jerky (Beef) for the appetizer, Sesame Chicken and Drunken Noodles (w/ Shrimp). The flavor is out of this world!!! You can order a spice level on your dish to bump the flavor up a notch and for me, the mild was a bit spicy, but not bad. The staff is some of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet. They are very attentive and will answer any questions you may have. The prices are on point and honestly, we left enjoying what we just ate. I'm excited to go back and try other dishes and cant wait to see what the future holds for this spot. They are definitely going to do well, especially with the local crowd.

So happy that this place opened. My husband and I both got the chicken pad Thai. I will say, the medium is more like a mild. The mild reallyyyy mild. So if you're on the edge, I'd bump up to medium. Super good though. They didn't add any annoying fillers like broccoli or zucchini like some competitors do. I'll be back many times.

Great service and good food. The sweet and sour was good. The portion could be slightly more but that's the only negative thing I can say.

The food had good flavors. However, the portions were so small for the price they charge. Therefore, not a lot of bang for your bucks!

I was hoping I would not be disappointed. Downtown Durham on Parrish Street I do believe. I went there midday and there was a sparse lunch crowd already seated when I arrived. The warmly lit space presents nice aesthetic as you walk into the restaurant. A very chill and comfortable atmosphere. I love the bar and the mirrored wall nestled behind it. The spot is pretty laidback and very clean, but has a bit of a rustic nuance to it as well. I like that. The serving staff were extremely nice and helpful towards advising me in making my selection -- with me being a first-timer and all. I kept it simple...I chose the Classic Burger (pink) with pepper jack cheese, bacon marmalade, and as a side, I had to go with the Dirty Fries -- 'cause that's how I roll y'all. About the food: I have to say, the burger was staunchly built and crafted with artistry. Nice and tall with a seriously tasty bun encapsulating everything. Perfectly well-seasoned meat and the first bite was simply delightful. I noticed as I got towards the center of the meat, it was bit less juicy than the surrounding parts of the burger, but nevertheless still tasty. My Dirty Fries were delicious In the end; the experience as a whole was quite delightful and I would definitely like to go there again -- perhaps try a different burger to expand upon my experience with this place. Gotta try out That Bar y'all! I do recommend it for those who haven't had a chance to go by there to check it out.

The interior is…read morenice and vibrant, with a perfect mix of minimalist and maximalist designs in the building (especially with the brewery apparatus being visible--which is awesome!!). Even before me an my party entered we could hear music playing from the building, which kept the vibes up! Moving onto the food, a certain menu item caught my eye. Something that I'm legally obligated to keep quiet about... but let tell you- this burger was Gooood. This "Signature Secret Burger" was rather unique, as it was like you took a pretty simple egg burger, and just ramped it up. My initial thought when I first tried it was that it was a burger squared, the mystery ingredients amplified the flavor to make such a savory meal. It wasn't to overbearing like many other burger places that I've visited, not immediately making me feel fat and full after taking a few bites. Our party also ordered a whole quart of fries, and they were SO GOOD!!! I'm a sucker for good fries, and you knocked this out of the park! Your fry soft was nice and mellow and complimented the fries perfectly. (And even afterwards, the fries warmed up really well and were still Really freakin' good!) Finally, during my visit, their anniversary event (Happy 15th By The Way ) and they were offering FREE DESSERT for someone who happened to sit in a randomly chosen seat. And by the luck of the gods my little brother found his way onto the seat! It was just really awesome to see a restaurant doing such awesome things for their birthday, y'don't see that every day! Overall, this place is definitely a place to stop by if you're in Durham. If you're in the area visit IMMEDIATELY if you love good fun food!
