This play was amazing! I've put off eating here because I heard it was overpriced. We went in with tempered expectations. The ambiance was very nice. It was a little more upscale than I expected but I was welcomed with my sweatpants and hoodie on just the same. The staff was very nice. The owner (wife) was cleaning tables and spent some time answering my questions about the menu. The owner (husband) was in the kitchen running service. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. We got several different items to try. I was surprised that the prices were not what I was made to believe. The portions are very good for the price they charge. Now let's talk food: The meatballs were amazing. Surprisingly very juicy. Most places are damp to dry and you need the sauce. These were juicy enough you don't need the sauce, but the sauce was delicious. Not too acidic and not too sweet. That could be a meal itself with a side dish. The risotto was perfectly cooked, the scallops were the best I've had outside of a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. The Alfredo was better than mine that make at home (mine is really good). The Fiorentino is possibly my new favorite dish. Crispy and juicy chicken, great sauce and delicious polenta, and I don't even really eat polenta. We were impressed with all of it. The desserts were really good. The cannolis are awesome and the tiramisu is always a favorite. The chocolate chips in the tiramisu threw off the texture a little bit but it was delicious. I like a heavy espresso flavor in my tiramisu and it could use a bit more for me, but I'd still give it a 9.5/10. When the meal is this good, you nitpick every little detail. Had a delicious meal at our spontaneous Friday date night! We waited a very short time at the bar as we did not have reservations. We each tried one of their signature cocktails, which were both pretty and tasty. There were regulars who raved about all Fiori has to offer and they were right! We were eyeing the Brussels side when our waitress informed us the appetizer of the day was Brussels. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned- 10/10. For dinner we had pappardelle bolognese and chicken Parmesan. We did ask if we could get Alfredo on the side of the chicken parm rather than spaghetti and our waitress said that would be no problem and no charge (which we were expecting!). Unfortunately when the bill came, there was a $4 upcharge, but it was delicious, so we did not speak up. We took home two cannolis because we were too full to eat then; they were divine. First time guest here and walking through the door I was impressed and eager to try this place. The environment was nice and cozy and lit very well. A warm inviting feeling. Our waiter was nice but seemed like he was a bit overloaded with tables to attend to which was fine cause we were in no rush. My old fashioned was decent, not the best I have ever had but would get it again. I ordered the airline chicken risotto and it was tasty. The chicken was cooked very well the risotto was good. What a fantastic upscale Italian spot in Flowers! We came with some friends for dinner on a weeknight and loved the food, service, and ambiance. I got the Rigatoni a la Nonna which was a hearty, flavorful pasta with roasted eggplant, sausage, mozzarella, broccolini, and crushed tomato. My husband got the shrimp risotto which was a special of the day. It was rich, creamy, and hearty with perfectly cooked shrimp on top. For dessert, we got the tiramisu. The waiter let us know that they have an in-house pastry chef who comes in and makes the pastries fresh each day! They have a full list of delicious cocktails to try as well. Our friends really enjoyed the espresso martinis. Their whole menu looks so good and I have at least 6 more dishes that I really want to try next time. Can't wait to be back! read more

Flori Italian is located in a shopping plaza with other businesses so there is shared parking out front. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of indoor seating & some outdoor seats as well. There is also a bar inside. We came for lunch on a Saturday, the day after Valentine's Day so there were still cute decorations up from the holiday. We were seated right away by the hostess. The hostess & our server were friendly and helpful. Our server did check on us but did not automatically refill our waters when they were empty. We were brought out bread & oil after we were seated. The bread was ok. A little harder than I prefer. I ordered the chicken Marsala. It served differently than I've had in the past but I enjoyed it. As comical as it is, Fiori means "Flowers", I can only assume that was intentional. So.... Welcome to Flowers, Fiori, it appears that feeling is mutual. With standing room only I am happy to hear they will soon be taking reservations. A nice addition of a restaurant that focuses on higher end Italian cuisine while delivering a consistent level of exceptional customer service. Based on the actions of the front house staff, it is quite clear the ownership has implemented a training and quality control program that sets this place a level above the rest in the area. The Rigatoni a la vodka comes with an excellent al a vodka sauce, it is a creamy, flavorful blend of Italian-inspired ingredients that strikes the perfect balance between richness, tanginess, and umami. A fresh basket of bread without any elementary level surcharge is a step in the right direction as well. And what's a dinner without desert? A Tiramisu that is "over the top" lives right here, and it can easily feed more than one, Caring is Sharing. The Chicken Parmigiana is next on my second go around at Fiori. Cheers! read more

We had a delicious dinner! The waiter was amazing. Great experience. Only two minor complaints. Tap water was not good. They need to invest in a reverse osmosis system and they had two people in jeans, not uniforms, that constantly went in and out of the kitchen. They certainly did not add to our experience. Having some housework completed so we decided on a take out order. Caesar Salad with Shrimp Rustica Salad Short Ribs. Well, picked up the order, the person was great so I tipped and all in $87.02!!!! This will be great!!!! So I thought. Drove back to the houses Rustica Salad was ok no issues, plenty with abundant walnuts. Caesar, we'll probably one pull of romaine lettuce, a two anchovies, yes two tiny anchovies, and two whole shrimp, an extra serving of dressing, which I was charged for, and "a" crouton. Short Rib dinner at $33.00, this is the best, a "short rib" yes one, so large it fit on a teaspoon, a splash of cold slop, and that was it. Again, all of this for $87.00 all in dollars. Surprise! We dined at Fiori and had a great experience! I was torn between four and five stars but I truly feel that it would be a 4.5 for this spot! I made a reservation for 4:30 on a Monday and we were seated right away. I dined with my husband, in-laws, and daughter. I love the atmosphere; not overwhelmingly "fancy," but nicer than "no frills." Cozy, spacious, decorated tastefully. My husband and I already talked about how we will have a date night in the bar area next time, it was lovely! Our server, Danny, was great! He greeted us immediately and brought waters. He was friendly, funny, and great with our baby girl! He was also able to tell us about any menu questions we had. Additionally, he loves dogs and has a golden retriever, so extra points there. I opted for a glass of the Cabernet. I had never tried an Italian Cab before but it was great. We started with an order of their meatballs appetizer; three large meatballs served with Pomodoro sauce and seasoned ricotta. This was amazing. They were obviously premade (typically they are at restaurants), but tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly. Pretty sure our 1-year old ate an entire one. We ordered a Caesar Salad to share and this was also delicious. We went with the anchovies on the side, since they were full on anchovies. Meh! Danny was sure to tell us though and ask if we wanted them on the side prior. For our entrées we ordered the Short Ribs, Baked Cacio e Pepe, Orecchiette, and Eggplant Parmigiana. My husband ordered the Short Ribs; it's always a go-to for him. He loved it and so did I! One of the best we've ever had. Served with broccolini and also, some of the best we've ever had! Crispy. Charred. Delicious. He was unable to have the polenta that is served with it due to a dairy allergy, but they kindly substituted that with roasted potatoes. I ordered the Baked Cacio e Pepe and it was yummy! It was definitely not a typical Cacio e Pepe, as it was baked but the menu did state that. I felt it was more of a baked Fettuccini Alfredo, but not too rich, in a good way! It was, however, yummy. I added grilled chicken and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly! My in-laws ordered Baked Eggplant Parmesan & Orecchiette; for the most part they were enjoyed! The Orecchiette had good flavor but the pasta was a bit stuck together; this that could have just been not having enough butter or oil. The Eggplant was good but not as crispy as a normal Eggplant Parmesan dish, however, Danny did let us know this would be slightly different than that typical dish! Paid a visit to Fiori with my mother-in-law, wife, and sister-in-law on a Wednesday evening. We made reservations to assure we'd have a place to sit. Faith was our server and came over promptly after we were seated. She took our drink orders and placed our appetizer order as well. For the apps, we had mussels in a lovely sauce along with an order of meatballs; along with the standard bread with olive oil and seasonings. The apps alone were rich, satisfying, and filling. For entrees we got a salad, lasagna, and the braised short rib. When it's quiet, generally people are happy with their meal and this was no exception. The short rib I had was paired with creamy polenta and broccolini. The meat fell off the bone and was incredibly succulent. Faith was an amazing server and was patient with all our questions. The experience was amazing and we will definitely be returning. This type of food so nearby is incredible and rivals food you'd have to go into Raleigh to get; which I won't be doing! What an unexpected surprise! I went to dinner last night with a friend of mine and we went here on her suggestion. Normally, I tend to stay clear of Italian restaurants for dietary reasons, but decided to go anyway. There were plenty of options for me! I went with the Calabrian Shrimp with a Rustica Salad. Went to Fiori last night with friends. It was delish! First off our waitress Dana was great and she fed right into our fun on our night out. I got the Zuppa di Pesce which was excellent and full of seafood and gigantic shrimp. For an app we tried the Buratta Caprese. The cheese tasted great and paired well with the tomato jam. To wrap it up we tried the raspberry tart and left nothing on our plate. We will definitely be back to enjoy to environment and great service. read more

We were excited to try this place. After being seated we noticed that both of our drinking glasses had dried specs of old food inside of them so we asked for clean drinking glasses. Beware if you can't eat spicy because this was my first experience ordering a meatball sub where the meatballs were actually spicy. I could tolerate the heat, but for the people who cannot have spicy, this should be either listed on the menu or the server should tell you that if you are ordering it. The bread was so wet that the meatballs fell out onto the plate. Maybe that was because the bread was so soft it couldn't hold the sauce. My friend is Haitian and used to the " goat taste " and enjoys it, while I am not. I only know the gamey taste of goat because I used to cook it for an ex. However, I do not like it at all. Limited and unimpressive wine selection. We ordered Rollatini a la Fiori app. It had really good flavor but barely warm. I ordered Pappardelle Bolognese for my main entree. Good flavor, not much short rib, with an abundance of pasta, and again barely warm. My spouse ordered Pork Saltimbocca. It was not a sauce style like we are used to. It was a breaded and overcooked chop smothered in cheese with charred (very burnt) asparagus and also barely warm. Bar tender was great!! But, we'll be sticking to Garibaldi's. read more
