Revival has a cool vibe. This was our first time here. But we heard they had great charcuterie boards and fun drinks. We didn't get any charcuterie because we came after dinner so I can't speak to that. There's the side with a bar. Very Busy! And the other side is filled with couches and chairs. It took awhile for us to find a place to sit and it was probably around 7:30pm. But since it was busy it too a while to get some service so be prepared for that on a busy day. I loved the bathroom they had a candle burning to make it smell good. I always love it when I see bathrooms that have hair pins, safety pins, tampons, hairspray, etc for women for any wardrobe malfunction or need to fresh up. Kudos! I got the drink "For the Peculiar Guest." Our waitress said it was one of her favorites but it's a bitter drink because of the base alcohol Malort. I had never had Malort before. I thought I would give the drink a try. It was good, a little bitter but not bad! And some background the bartender who created this drink also won best drink at a Malort fest in Raleigh recently. Quite an accomplishment! They have different mixed drinks - give them a try!

Revival is a fun and relaxing cocktail bar in Clayton NC. They have a seasonal cocktail menu and just about every liquor you can think of on the wall. The have some couches/rooms set up for you and your party to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. During this visit, we tried The Peculiar Guest, The French Antagonist and the Old Fashioned. The Peculiar Guest has a Malort as it's base and was mixed magnificantly. The French Antagonist used Cognac and was a delightful, light version of the old fashioned. I'll be back. I also took this awesome photo.

Absolutely love the vibe at Revival 1869! Place was busy but had no issue finding a seat or getting drinks. Bartenders made some delicious cocktails. Will definitely be back!

Wonderfully dark, open, friendly, and comfortable tavern with aptly named cocktails served well and full of personality and flavor. Make this place one of your stops when nearby.

Outstanding establishment! Revival has to be hurting, being it only sells alcoholic drinks and "appetizers" it is not allowed to open due to North Carolina's idiot Governor, however the three neighbors that have a "dinner" menu but large bars are open. So ladies and gentlemen of Clayton and the surrounding areas, when Comrade Roy "Jimmy Carter" Cooper anoints Revival with his awesome blessing, please go and party like it's 1869!!!!!

A Clayton Gem! Best Cocktails & Live Music in Clayton! It was our first time visiting this bar and it will not be our last. The spot is divided into 2 rooms, bar and listening room. They also have outdoor seating in the back. We went on Saturday night and they had an outstanding jazz band playing. The service was exceptional and the cocktail list is devine!

The team here is fun, personable, and the "lead" mixologist is brilliant. Great relaxing chic space.

Ambiance and music was perfect the night we decided to visit. I just wish that their charcuterie board had more options.

The warm edison bulbs flicker to life as if they've been waiting just for you, casting lazy shadows across blue walls and gilded mirrors. A hush of soft laughter drifts from a nearby corner where friends lean close, their glasses catching light like captured constellations. Velvet armchairs and couches cradle quiet conversations, while behind the bar, bottles gleam with impossible colors; one even glows, ever so slightly, when the bartender passes. You can't tell if it's the lighting or a trick of magic--and you don't really want to know. They call it whimsical, but really--it's their Old Fashioned. The kind of drink that feels less made and more summoned. When they craft it, there's a ceremony to the motion: sugar stirred just so, bitters dashed with the precision of a spell mark, a single twist of orange releasing its perfume like a secret. The bartender doesn't rush. She moves with the calm assurance of someone who knows time bends for good cocktails. You will find your seat in one of the several cozy alcoves, each space hums with quiet enchantment. Don't forget the food out back, part settled, part wizard of flavor, the food truck delights with gluten-free magic for everyone. Every dish is crafted so well, you'll forget it's "free" of anything--except compromise. Clayton is lucky to have this upscale hideaway where alchemy meets ambiance and every sip feels like a small enchantment. Cheers!

As for the food, our items were delicious and filling! I recommend the "Rollatini A La Fiori" as an appetizer. Our sangria cocktail was also very refreshing. It was a little more upscale than I expected but I was welcomed with my sweatpants and hoodie on just the same. The staff was very nice. The owner (wife) was cleaning tables and spent some time answering my questions about the menu. The owner (husband) was in the kitchen running service. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. We got several different items to try. I was surprised that the prices were not what I was made to believe. The portions are very good for the price they charge. Now let's talk food: The meatballs were amazing. Surprisingly very juicy. Most places are damp to dry and you need the sauce. These were juicy enough you don't need the sauce, but the sauce was delicious. Not too acidic and not too sweet. That could be a meal itself with a side dish. The risotto was perfectly cooked, the scallops were the best I've had outside of a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. The Alfredo was better than mine that make at home (mine is really good). The Fiorentino is possibly my new favorite dish. Crispy and juicy chicken, great sauce and delicious polenta, and I don't even really eat polenta. We were impressed with all of it. The desserts were really good. The cannolis are awesome and the tiramisu is always a favorite. The chocolate chips in the tiramisu threw off the texture a little bit but it was delicious. I like a heavy espresso flavor in my tiramisu and it could use a bit more for me, but I'd still give it a 9.5/10. When the meal is this good, you nitpick every little detail. Overall, this is our new favorite spot. This meal was outstanding and I highly recommend it! 10/10 and WORTH EVERY PENNY!

The pesto and salami one was my favorite. The inside of the restaurant is pretty dimly lit, but we didn't mind and it helped create a cozy atmosphere. I have been to Postino many times before, but this was my first time at the Raleigh location. While it's been 4 years since I've had Postino and the menu has changed a little, the bruschetta board is still a permanent fixture. We ordered a bruschetta board for an appetizer and I ordered the half panini & half salad for my entree. The bruschetta board is a must order because you can get 4 different kinds. The top tier choice is the salami pesto one. It's my absolute favorite. For my panini, I got the caprese one on ciabatta bread and the half of the mixed greens salad. The salad was delicious. This was a ton of food and felt very satisfying. I always love the vibe of Postino's, but this location was way too dark with only a small candle at the table. Service started off good and we were able to order our food without a problem. However, our server was done with his shift right after we ordered so we got a new server. Our new server had no idea we already ordered and was a little behind coming to our table for water refills. Despite that, we were in and out of the restaurant within 45 minutes. Postino is surrounded by other shops and restaurants, so they had a ton of parking available outside the restaurant. Highly recommend this place if you want good food!
