After many tests, I was diagnosed with multiple large fibroids and a large cyst. I was very unhappy with the lack of information my gynecologist was able to provide and that they weren't able to give any recommendations about dietary changes or physical exercise I could do to manage the fibroids and cyst. They pretty much just told me to not do heavy physical activity and not jump up and down because the cyst could burst! The lack of information and research about what fibroids are and why we get them is astounding - granted that around 80% of women may get fibroids in their life. I went down the wormhole of internet research and came up with some dietary suggestions but was still left feeling that I had little options as far as treatment. Thank goodness I went to see Mariya. From the beginning she was able to make me feel more relaxed and came up with a plan of attack ! With a combination of treatments, herbal formula, and dietary changes I was able to get rid of the cyst without it bursting and also shrink the size of the fibroids with the largest shrinking from 9cm to 5cm! Because of the size I wasn't even sure that it was possible to shrink them. Also, my breast swelling and tenderness vanished and I no longer have pms, I have more energy and in general am in a better mood. I owe all this to the treatment plan. I stuck to a pretty limited diet without being too strict. I pretty much quit coffee, alcohol, meat and dairy with hormones and cut down on gluten, ate more cooked veggies and tried not to drink cold water or beverages. I later sent a Medicare complaint to my insurance company. They were unable to discipline Ms. Kapfer as their 60-day limit had passed. To allow clients to see Ms. Kapfers true colors, I am enclosing a copy of my complaint with this review. It states: Dear WellCare. I was getting Accupuncture services from Nina Kapfer of Lotus Accupuncture. Over the weeks, I noted that she asked very intrusive questions about the food I eat, my job, and my dance lessons. I became uncomfortable with her questioning as during each therapy session, she would shake my head around very hard, making my earrings shake. Fortunately, they were secured with strong backs to prevent them from shaking loose. On one visit, she took off my gold chain and pendant. She attempted to remove the onyx/gold pendant, but the clasp prevented her from doing so. I asked her to give me the necklace, and discovered the pendant was so strongly forced onto the clasp, it was difficult to put back on the chain. She had attempted to steal the pendant from me. I never allowed her to touch my jewelry after that. I told her about a place that I do volunteer work at. A few weeks later, Nina stated she wanted her daughters to volunteer at this Cat Shelter also, and asked me for the phone number, which I gave her. Unbeknownst to me, she had been in contact with the shelter's Proprietor, Gina. She then began giving information to Gina about my condition, etc. I then began to realize that Gina was asking me questions only Nina would know about, and visa versa. On Friday, 10/06/23, Nina cancelled an appointment with me at 3:00 (after work). She tried to reschedule me the following week earlier in the day, but I thought I had to work, and refused. Then, I realized that week was Fall Break at work, and realized she was trying to find out if I were still employed. She mentioned it to Gina, who asked me about my work schedule. Her information could have only come from Nina. I stopped seeing Nina and wrote a negative on-line review. She got angry with me and tried to have me delete it, which I refused to do. On Sunday, 10/15/23, I saw Nina in Gina's house while I was doing volunteer work. On Saturday, 12/17/23, I realized that Nina had violated the HIPPA Act by speaking to Gina about me, her client, and revealing private, protected information. I wrote a text to Nina on that day informing her that I now realize what she did (see attached). The massage was a pressure point type and he really knows how to put just enough pressure on those knots and places on your body.
