Me and my family were looking for a healthy option to fast food and from the pictures and reviews on Yelp we thought we had found our go to spot But when we went to order our food the cashier was rude and snappy with us and when he brought the food to our table he was talking on his cell phone and didn't acknowledge us at all. He just plopped the platter down and walked away without a word or second look. We felt so uncomfortable and out of place. I absolutely love this place. Don't believe the poor reviews of people who came here and ordered the most boring thing and then decided to complain! Obviously all of the dishes are very different and I have tried multiple things that have all been incredible. The juices are amazing and the teriyaki chicken bowl with sweet potato hash or the thai coconut chicken bowl with brown rice with extra sauce are my go-to's. Things are a little pricier but you are paying for the quality of the food. I am moving out of DFW soon and very very sad I won't be able to eat Original Chop Shop where I am moving! From salads, bowls fo sandwiches. Lunches can be busier times and parking can be difficult due to a variety of businesses in the area. You can always call and in and place an order for pick up. I stopped in for an early lunch before my business meeting and was able to beat the lunch time rush. This was my first time here so I decided to go with "The Club" sandwich and chips. I found a table and scrolled through my news feeds while waiting for my order. I noticed the order line starting to grow as the lunch crowd started rolling in. After about 15 minutes the server brought me my order. It took longer than expected considering I was the fifth person in the restaurant but oh well, no harm no foul. The sandwich looked delicious, was thick with turkey, and the ingredients were fresh. The bread used was a thick cut multi-grain bread that in combination with all the turkey did make each bite of the sandwich a drier than expected mouthful. I would suggest adding more of the avocado pesto and red wine vinaigrette to counteract that effect. But other than that, I enjoyed the meal and look forward to trying more of the menu. read more

Lots of professional looking people lunch here. 15 bucks for a whatever salad not really worth it. Might give this place a second chance if I lived here. I've been on a health journey and today it took me to The Original Chop shop. I tried the Thai Coconut Chicken with the Quinoa and Veggie side and for the drink, the slim squeeze. The bowl was just the right amount of brown rice, mixed veggies and chicken. The Quinoa and veggie was served cold which was a surprise but it was definitely a pleasant surprise. It couldve had more veggies, but it still was tasty. I have yet to be disappointed on the fresh juices. I also love that all the plastics and plates and plastic ware are all compostable. I ordered rice bowls from here two days in a row through Doordash. I was so excited to find the place that sells rice bowl early in the morning near Irving, TX. However, my experience was not fun. 1. Spicy Korean Steak bowl had a strong smell and they put tooooo many seasonings. For me, it was salty and didn't taste good at all. It was far from Korean beef seasonings I've ever experienced. I should've stopped ordering from the previous experience, but since I wanted to eat rice in the morning, I gave this place another try. I mean the other reviews here are really good, so I thought maybe the chief was not in good condition yesterday. 2. Sweet soy-sesame steak bowl was better than the Spicy Korean steak bowl, but it was salty and they put too much sauce. I even let two of my coworkers tried, but they didn't like it either. I tried multiple dishes & while the flavors were unique they weren't very good. It was over salted and the colored rice was different but just dried my out.
