I have been here many times now and always forget to leave a review. So ,many apologies OIP. I love this place. Eat in for lunch is always a great experience. The food on the buffet can vary for sure but I will tell you it's always worth it. I have only ever had one server and she is always friendly and always on point. Even if you are only there for the buffet. The food and the service sells it for sure. It can get a little crowded so show up early. The distance between the seat and table does tend to get smaller the longer you are there so just be mindful. read more

This is our pizza place! This Original Italian Pizza (OIP) has the best food to our liking. The Original Italian Pizza's in all locations are not related! We did not know this until last year. This OIP has a FANTASTIC lunch buffet!!! They usually have a main dish, a few different pizzas with different toppings, small salad bar, garlic knots, steak and regular Stromboli and more daily(call for business hours and if they have indoor dining; usually on the weekends they are open for indoor dining with longer hours and during the week for a few hours during the lunch buffet but during the week after those hours they only do takeout and delivery) We love so many of their dishes, pizza, Sicilian pizza, steak and regular Stromboli and subs . The only thing I did not care for was instead of fresh vegetables on an antipasto they put the vinegary vegetable mix out of a jar maybe to save time and money? We head to OIP in Berwick, Pa several times per month, we love their food, service, and rustic ambience dining area. Plenty of parking and conveniently located by Giant supermarket and Sheetz;located across from Dollar General. read more

Just moved to the area and was driving by and seen they had a lunch buffet. So, I decided why not try it I can sample the menu or most of it in one try. Well let's say I wasn't disappointed in any of it. I had a wide range of pizza slices which were all very good and had a baked ziti or that's what it looked like and was very good as well. My favorite thing there had to be the cheesesteak Stromboli. And price was under $10.00 with a drink so I highly recommend this place. Going to try their sandwiches next so look for an update on that soon. read more

Worst service, quality, and price in this area. Where do we start?! The shady delivery people, the extremely young and unintelligent front counter staff, the excessive grease and unappealing food/pizza. Can't seem to decipher DELIVERY from PICKUP so don't be surprised when an hour plus goes by and your food never arrives. Waited over an hour...and called to ask if there was a problem. Was told that it was on the way, it did arrive a few minutes later...cold. Called back and could hear person in background being very flippant and kinda rude. They offered to send us a new one. (Considering we waited over an hour for this one I declined.) This pizza shop has one of the best buffets around for the price. We enjoyed the variety, for picky eaters they even included chicken tenders alongside the pizza and pasta dishes. Our waitress was kind and knew the regulars well. While the food ranged from average to wonderful, the $6 price is hard to beat. read more

I used to order from here loyal multiple times a week... The last time I order the food was good but it should not cost almost 30$ for a 2 liter and a Stromboli.... They definitely lost my business with jacking up their prices on everything.... So sad too read more

My family loves to eat at any OIP we can find, but we will not eat at this one. It has nothing to do with the food, but the staff who work here. They come across as rude, annoyed, and unprofessional. The absolute worst!!!! Delivery took forever and there was a HAIR in the food. Another long wait for replacement. Still food was horrible - I'm talking food posioning-and overcharged. I ordered 2 large Pizza's from these folks and got a couple surprises in return. The first surprise is the ignorance of the workers when I went in for pick up. They were rude and disrespectful not only to me but their coworkers.The first pizza was o.k. The problem was the second one. Me and my kids opened it the next morning and to our disgust found a hairy ball of cheese stuck to the top of the box. On further inspection we noticed a clump of hair baked right into the pie. I called to complain and was asked by the owner if I wanted "another one". I didn't want another pizza from anyone who would serve such unsanitary food so I declined. I told him I would rather have a refund and offered to bring the pizza back (if for nothing more then to ask him if he would eat it). This human piece of excrement then tells me "We don't do refund"... Excuse you? Thank god for anger management. My dog didn't seem to care as he gnawed on that slop but my kids and I will be eating elsewhere...permanently. Eat there at your own risk and make sure you get your hepatitis vaccine beforehand. read more

Their food is great! As for the other negative reviews: 1) people are always going to believe things were better "in the past". There is nothing subpar about OIP; and 2) the atmosphere isn't dicey, it's just that of a local pizza shop... go elsewhere for a "restaurant" type feel.
