OIP. It used to be our favorite pizzeria, maybe it was an off day but last week's pizza and wings did not bit the same. First the location, it seems odd for me as a person from the west coast but my east coast friends say it's not weird at all. It is attached to a laundromat and share the same bathroom. Free parking, and never full, which is great. Indoor seating is fine, nothing fancy, regular pizza shop. We noticed this time that it said "Tony's pizzeria" is that new? Service, the people are always kind. This last time, we decided to call in our order on a Friday night. They told us 30 mins until it's ready, we got there 20 mins early and their estimated time was exactly on the dot. So if you're planning to call, call ahead and trust their estimated time. The food, the pizza crust was different. It wasn't as chewy as usual. But the sauce and toppings were great. The most disappointing were the wings. I ordered a dozen medium Buffalo and the picture will speak volumes. No flavor. Dry, barely tossed in sauce. It had no spice. We will give them another try and hope they just had an off day. read more

OIP not in Pennsylvania.... This is a treat really. I noticed that there were no pictures of the Italian sub. I found that quite mind boggling. That's the best thing! My sub came with a bite out of it but I ate it anyway. That's how good they are! Just kidding about the bite. I'm not sure about the location as it's very busy at this section of the road plus they are doing road construction there. There's also a laundromat in the same building so " when in Rome " if needed. I did not see any potato chips out for purchase. That to me is a game changer. You can't eat a sub without chips.... So this review is actually for Tony's Pizza not OIP. It's now an independent pizza place called Tony's. The pizza is excellent and I can't recommend it enough! Every time the dough has been super fresh and lightly semolina dusted. Crust is slightly thicker than what you would traditionally think of with NY style pizza but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Pies have always been cooked perfectly- slices are foldable and there's a great crunch when biting. Have tried their regular pie, sheet pizza for a large group and specialty pies - margarita and vodka. All have been delicious! Great addition to the North Country. read more

Stopped in for some classic NY pizza on my way to Drum and they didn't disappoint. The pizza was amazing, crust was perfect, cheese was stringy, and toppings were fresh. We also had the garlic knots that to me were the perfect level of garlic and parmesan as well as wings that were tossed to perfection. Recommend 10/10 read more

OIP was a delightful surprise on a recent road trip. Their NY style pizza was everything my cheese craving heart desired. Perfect thickness, crunch, foldability, cheese pull of the slices. A little greasy but thats classic NY pizza... yum! I ordered a whole pie but they also sell by the slice. They had a high chair available and can do dine in or take out. Bathrooms were clean. Fyi- This place is attached to a laundromat. If you ever need to wash clothes on the road you could do that here and get a slice of pizza. read more

Ordered online for double order wings and had price of $21.99 plus tax for pickup. No extras chosen for celery or bleu cheese. When I arrived for the pickup, I was told different price of $23.99 plus tax. I had email showing the total and questioned why it was different at pickup compared to email confirmation. Response I got was the online system is different than their cashier system and he didn't know why the price was not changed online. I was not offered to get the price fixed at any point. I explained the online pricing needs to be changed and this should not be put on the customer or other customers ordering online due to two systems not being synced correctly. When I got into my car, the two receipts they gave to me had the different pricing. The wings from here are brilliant. The sauces are just OK and, I think it's fair to skip the pizza, ironic since this is a pizza place. They charbroil these wings and you will not find this style in many other places. We love wings and have been trying to figure out how to replicate it and no luck so far. We have to limit ourselves to one order of 50 wings every few months cuz they are pricey, especially with the weight my husband can eat by himself. I'd give another star just because of the wings but they don't even have it in the restaurant name so I feel like they are not playing to their strengths here. read more

This is my third and last time here. The first two times I've ordered wings and had to wait forever even though nobody was even in the store dining. Secondly, the tall female that works the register is a snobby POS, she will literally give you stares of death until you ordered and when you do she is very unapproachable. Not to mention I watched 2 young white males come in after me and she was smiling and being very friendly with them. Don't know what's that is all about either! To start, this would be a 5-star rating IF: 1. They didn't deliver on-post. They are located in downtown Watertown--a minimum of 20 minutes from post. When we called, they quoted 1 - 1.5 hours for delivery. At one hour and 45 minutes we called and they said the driver was "literally right around the corner." 15 minutes later, he showed up--for a total of 2 hours for delivery. My 11 year old daughter was livid. It's simple, if you can't deliver a fresh, hot product, the product that you advertise, then DON'T. If you notice, CAM's downtown doesn't deliver on post for that reason. 2. Their sides (chicken fingers, cheez sticks) were better quality. The chicken fingers were OK. When you see them, you'll understand. You've had these chicken fingers before. They are the same stock chicken fingers you can get at any small pizza joint... same for the cheez sticks. My daughter who is ADDICTED to fries, couldn't eat their fries. They were completely soggy in the container after the long trip on post. This is what WOULD give them a 5-star rating: 1. IF the pizza was fresh. At the hour and 45 minute mark, we pre-heated the oven, knowing we would need to use it... and we did. The pizza was old and soggy (see picture). It looked awful. However, my mind was BLOWN when I took the first bite. It was AMAZING! Perhaps better tasting than Cam's. My wife, on the other hand, tells me I'm wrong (she's a HUGE Cam's fan). The flavor was on-point! The crust was spot-on! If I hadn't had to re-heat it, it would have been more amazing. Fortunately, we have a pizza stone for this. 2. IF the grilled chicken wings would have been fresh. Even non-fresh, slightly cold, they were AMAZE-BALLS! I had some BBQ and some honey garlic. The flavor and char was amazing. i gobbled them up wholly. Overall, this is a GREAT place to eat GREAT food. They need to shrink their menu and limit their delivery radius... or they could expand to another location further north. However, I recommend the food, just not the delivery. read more

The only reason this is getting any stars is because the wings were probably the best I have had in a long time! The delivery took over an hour so by the time it got to my house my pizza was cold to the touch along with the onion rings. I live 2 miles away from the restaurant so I don't understand how that could have happened. My wife ordered a cold Italian sub and also made the claim that it was the best she has ever had so I guess they got that going for them too. Just wish I could have actually enjoyed the pizza. The cheesecake slices were also delicious but the Oreos were soggy rather than crun Update: It is really unfortunate to say, but I will never order delivery from OIP again. We really enjoy their subs and wings, but it takes over an hour and a half for them to deliver to us and we literally live under 5 miles away. I don't understand why it takes so long and when I called to complain they were rude and didn't care. family came to visit so we ordered a decent variety, including some custom orders. the staff had no problem accommodating, even making a vegan style pizza. the pizza was good and the ingredients tasted fresh. we also got an order of wings which were excellent, and cheesy breadsticks, also very good. read more

Wing Wednesday, 29 Aug 2018: Approximately 1630-1800. Experience with OIP in the past has always been excellent, food being amazing and service being great. Today, was a completely different side; so bad in fact I must write a negative review. The crew who were working during the date and time I mentioned above are the most unprofessional sleezeballs I've ever had the displeasure of running into. Throughout my entire experience, from ordering via telephone to picking up my order in store and calling back and driving back to have my order done properly with no intent of customer satisfaction, has been disgusting. I understand the possible overwhelming orders coming in (however due to the parking lot traffic I doubt they had a lot of order, only 3-4 cars parked near OIP) on Wing Wednesday however, the service was terrible. No one is a valued customer. After having to have to ask for some sort of compensation for not only getting my order wrong (customer asking for assistance and management not offering after a screw-up is a red flag) I was still denied any help, even after bringing my original order back in to verify with staff that hey had indeed messed up. After rectifying my order and dropping them off at the table I was sitting at waiting for the completion of it I wasn't even handed my order; I just received my new wings on the table with a "here you go" for the cashier and hen hastily walked away from. No concern for their customers at all. Terrible service. You're better off going to Wing Wagon just a couple blocks away. Way better service, better food and yes, they do have Wings in the name and yes, the wings are amazing. read more

What could one say about pizza that hasn't been said before. People have been trying to recreate this timeless classic since the day it was first created. Maybe that's what I liked about OIP. This pizza isn't trying to be new or fancy, just plain good ole fashioned pizza. It cut out all the flair in lieu of great taste. OIP has gone back to basics in a time when people would rather recreate the wheel. At first I was taken aback by their selection. Once again the repeating theme is basic. I choose what I always do with pizza, Hawaiian. It was good. Large pieces of ham and pineapple on top of a very cheesy crust. The crust is what I think won it over for me. It was almost as it were a toasty bread roll over a pizza dough. Crunchy, flaky and best of all, flavorful. While he pizza was good the clear cut winner of tonight's dinner had to go to the wings. I first read that it was syracuse's first and original wings. With a title of first k had to try it. I was not disappointed. It came in a box with ten wings, blue cheese and celery stick. Truth be told I could do without the celery but to each their own. When it comes to a staff one could not ask for better service. It was a little later and before the big dinner rush, yet that didn't stop them from being amicable and helpful. Aside from the wait it was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately there is one draw back to all of this. With an idea so simple, and the food as good as it is there is still no justification for such an outlandish price. I ordered a large rectangular pizza and ten wings. Tat order came out close to $50.00. A price I would not pay again soon. Will I go back to OIP? Went in specifically for cheesesteaks. When i think of a cheese steak i think crusty toasted bread. Toasting the bread keeps it from getting soggy. This was limp, soggy, greasy and I have no idea what kind of bread it was. I ordered with "the works". The mushrooms had an off taste to them, and the cheese was sour. My husband ordered a plain cheese steak with mozzarella and it hardly had any cheese on it. No seasoning on either sandwich. Will not be back for cheesesteaks. Pizza slice we had was ok. read more

I blame myself for not going to CAMs. I have always liked OIP just a little better than CAMs and it is more convenient for me when I make my Saturday morning rounds to stop by there instead of going further in to town to CAMs. I have also told many people, especially new to the area people, to go to OIP. Never again. This morning at about 1145 when I stopped in to get two slices to go, I didn't watch the slicky boy grab the slice of Chicken, Bacon, Ranch that had the big bubble dough, and no cheese, or toppings. Didn't realize it until later on down the road when it was not worth going back. That's how you do business? "hey when someone orders a slice, try and slip in the piece that is missing all the toppings". This is not the first time, I actually have called out two of the servers on this before. It's probably because the server didn't like my t-shirt or that I was Military. The better part was listening to one of the workers in the back give his co"worker" a breakdown of his DUI experience, and how "f'd" up the system was, and how the families of people killed by drunk drivers that he had to listen to during his court ordered training were just "professional victims". He was optimistic that he would have "his license back by Monday".. ....(note to self: watch out for OIP delivery dude!) all this, while I waited to be screwed over by my slicky boy at the front register. The pizza is great however, every time I come in and the female is working they are out of pepperoni slices and she says we won't be making any the rest of the night she said one day at 530 and today I'm here at 3 and she says they won't put in another until dinner. So the only way for me to get pepperoni was to order the smallest size they had. I'm pretty disappointed every time I walk in and she is at the front counter because she is the only one who says she won't have them make a pizza for me to order slices no matter what time of day it is smh. read more

By far some of the worst pizza I have ever had. For the price the pizza turned out to be much smaller than expected. As for the "fresh ingredients" they ripped up basil and slapped it on top. The woman working at the counter wasn't friendly, it wouldn't hurt to smile once in a while. The bread was hard and over cooked, which might explain the reason it took forever to get our food. Then said he would come. 30 minutes later no one here still. Called they said he came back to store and a new person would deliver give it 20 minutes. The food I would rate a 5 out of 5. They're pizza is amazing, and I don't even like pizza. They're cheese is gooey and delicious, the crust is perfect and they're wings are better than any I've had at Buffalo Wild Wings (or anywhere, for that matter.) Their service however, I would rate a 1, 2 on a good day. My husband and I went there for dinner, and after about 10 minutes or so of standing at the counter, the cook having made eye contact with us several times and acknowledging our presence, I still had to track someone down and ask them to take out order. Their location isn't the best, is right next door to a 24 hour laundromat and doesn't attract the best company. Basically great food, lousy customer service. Thank god they deliver! read more

Pretty decent food for the price. I arrived at lunchtime and was served quickly. The restauraunt was on tge dirty side, but the tables were clean. The pizza was average. Really good, crisp crust, flavorful sauce, but sparse greasy cheese, and toppings that were dried out.
