I also had the side of truffle fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw lacked salt and pepper but the truffle fries were delicious. Service was amazing and the atmosphere gave upscale bar vibes. Since they didn't offer a half -rack portion of the ribs, I decided to try the wings, especially since they are the Monday night special. The wings were perfect, lightly breaded and crispy. I ordered the medium hot sauce on the side and it didn't disappoint. I also ordered a side Caesar salad and garlic bread. The Romaine lettuce was not as cold as it should have been, but I still ate every bite. The garlic bread was so good, I had to get a second order. Chewy French bread, perfectly toasted and seasoned. For desert I decided to try the Creme Brulee. It was simply AWESOME! I highly recommend this dessert! read more

Had supper there on June 25th, the service by the waitress we had was terrible. We sat in her section and it was a 5min wait before she even acknowledged we were there and it wasn't even busy maybe 6 people in the place. She finally took drink order that was another 15min wait and finally another waitress brought our drinks as our waitress was busy flirting with guys on the deck. She screwed up our food order, the manager had to bring out the rest of it and it seemed everyone knew she was a screw up and they had to cover for her. Tried the cider and it was really nice (though I didn't quite get the random cranberries on top...) Fish and chips are delicious. They are breaded before being fried so they have almost a bit of a doughy/yeasty taste to them. Absolutely fantastic. I used to live on the BC coast and this stuff is as good as it gets. read more

We ended up here because we planned to go to a movie after supper and this restaurant was in the movie theatre parking lot. The food and service were great. My husband had ribs that were very tender and tasty, however, they could have been a little hotter. They came out of the kitchen barely warm. I had blackened salmon with a cold quinoa salad. Been to this location a couple times, sadly this evening wasn't a good experience, mostly a lack of experience. I was really hoping to have the french onion soup and we had our meals and drinks figured out, problem was no one came by within 15 minutes of us getting there, not even to start us off with drinks or say hi. The service was very attentive and friendly. The menu has a wide range of choices. The staff checked on us frequently which is good when you are having a quick lunch. The food was served quickly. All in all this location and restaurant is really good. The bartender staff are really nice and they are actually pretty cool bunch to sit and have a drink with. They do it right at this one, and takeout is surprisingly fast. Also those great bartenders. Always clean. read more

This place used to be one of my favourite restaurants to go... until my out of town company experienced racial profiling by the bartender. We had arrived mid-late afternoon on a Sunday. There was our table and maybe two other tables of patrons in the entire restaurant. Since my company was on vacation and celebrating, they had a few drinks and shots. Everyone ordered a full meal. We were there for about 1.5-2.5 hours. My friend went to order her 5th bottle of beer, when the waitress returned and told us that the bartender had decided to cut us all off. After the news was delivered to us, I looked towards the bar and the bartender was glaring at us. I asked the waitress why we were being cut off and she said she didn't know it was up to the bartender and the bartender refused to serve us anything else. The waitress almost looked embarrassed for us! Never at any point during our visit were we loud, rowdy, obnoxious, out of control and everyone was certainly NOT drunk. Just a few friends hanging out and watching some sports. For this reason, I will never return to any franchise that involves Original Joes or its partners. read more
