Food prices are high and not so special. The service for groups (my last visits were with groups) is mediocre. Servers do not pay adequate attention to see if everything is okay or if people need something. read more

Don't ever order the Cobb Salad. What I received was a 1/3 of a head of lettuce and I had to ask the kitchen for a bowl. One of the worst salads I've eaten. Not sure if they just want customers to eat the toppings and leave the huge hunk of lettuce underneath. They did comp my meal and beer. read more

Generally good food in a comfortable surrounding. Price/quality ratio was good. The staff was friendly and service was very good. Air Canada had sent us to the Sandman hotel as our flight was canceled. Moxies was next to the hotel, and greatly improved our stay as we had no car and most walk-able restaurants were fast food. read more

I had a late lunch at Moxie's today. I was only one of two tables ... it was really quiet. I don't go to a Moxie's chain very often and I ordered what I usually get there when I do go ... chicken enchiladas. I got extra salsa instead of sour cream and guacamole. They were good and filling. Allyson was my server and took good care of me. I used the washroom before I left ... in addition to the usual stalls and sinks, there was a fireplace, a TV and make-up chairs. Swanky! read more

The atmosphere is dark and warm but inviting. The staff all seem friendly but I sat in the lounge and it's quiet on a Sunday night. I was greeted within minutes of sitting down. The menu isn't as crazy long as many other restaurants but everything on it sounds delicious and the decision was difficult. I chose the loaded burger with fries and I will say I it was fantastic. The patty was cooked perfectly, the bun was a perfect brioche bun topped with white and black sesame seeds. The bacon crisp and the lettuce was fresh. The fries were perfect and seasoned very well. The amber ale that paired the meal was so good a second pint was needed just to sit back and enjoy the surroundings. I will be back. read more

good solid chain food prepared well. Gyoza potstickers were nice, done with diced fruit, (peppers and pineapple) went very well. Steak (ordered without spice and med rare with madagascar pepper sauce on the side) came rare with stuffed potato and winter veg (brussel sprouts, yam and carrots. Sauce was underwhelming but steak was pretty good. Could have had the tough layer of silverside removed but easily cut off as that little strip is very tough esp if cooked rare. Service was excellent esp as it was a full house for new years eve Desserts sounded good but maybe next time. read more

Moxie's is so cool for a number of reasons - cool music, club like feel in the dining area, oh, and let's not forget about the TVs in the bathroom. ..You know, just in case you get bored while you're in there. Oh, and just in case you get chilly while visiting the washroom, there is an ambiant fireplace to warm you up too with comfy lounge chairs. The food was really great - I had the Mosaic dip, which is ooey gooey melted goat cheese with tortilla chops which was simply amazing. The Chipotle Chicken with stuff baked potato on the side was a great choice for a cold snowy night. Mmmmm.... read more

Yes, I'm reviewing a chain restaurant. Yes, I'm currently in Regina. They love their chains here. Now that we're over that, I'm reviewing this more as a service for Regina newbies. This is one of the better places to go to here. I haven't been to a Moxie's in 7 years but this one reminded me of how good chains can be sometimes. The shrimp and crab fettucine I had was a really, really good combination of cream, sweet crabmeat and succulent shrimp bites. Al dente pasta of course. The coffee left much to be desired but hey, I went for the food. Out of all the other chains here (and we're leaving Boston Pizza in another category on this one), Moxie's has the upperhand on menu variety. It's no Milestones but its combination of posh ambience and well executed food makes it an easy dinner choice in town. We had brunch here before a Riders game (again, another must do in town) and the ambience was bumping and cheerful. Parking was super easy and the washrooms were plush. read more

I went for an evening coffee and visit with a good friend. We ended up at a nice quiet table at the back of the restaurant. Both of us had Bite of Brownie. Very good indeed. Lack of parking, especially for pick-up trucks, is the main reason this restaurant did not get five stars today. read more

Will come again as was nice and quiet. Sunday night is a great night to go. Took my parents and brother out for dinner and our waitress was very nice miss her name as they have masks on was hard to hear. My salmon was amazing and the ribs and steak the others ate was great. We have generally thought of Moxie's as a place for lunch, supper or drinks. We noticed they had a short brunch menu, but the items on the list looked interesting, We tried the brunch menu today and I really enjoyed the eggs benedict. The pancetta and cheddar bring a nice sharpness to the flavours. Even with a diverse group, the service was prompt and attentive. The layout of the restaurant makes it a good location for brunch on a sunny summer day. read more

We went for lunch on a weekday. A busy place. Very nice decor! We enjoyed admiring the furnishings and decorations. Burger, fries and beef dip sandwich were excellent. Not 5 stars because the margarita was the smallest we have ever seen - served in a rocks glass full of ice, it may have held 3 ounces of liquid total. Don't bother. Good kale and quinoa salad with chicken breast for lunch - colleagues has steak sandwich and mushroom soup which they enjoyed. The server Melissa was great very attentive refilled waters with out asking etc. Was there for business and she kept her distance but spoke with us as necessary and was very friendly. We were staying at the hotel behind Moxies, so we stopped in. we sat in the bar and the bartender Kelsey served us. She was very fast and friendly. Although we just went here because it was close, we really enjoyed the experience! So we would for sure come back. Good soup too! read more

I don't normally visit Moxies. I had found in my younger years that as a female patron about the same age as the waitresses, lacklustre service was all I was going to get. I received a gift card from a client and decided to give it another shot. A friend and I went in September for dinner and drinks. Service was friendly, fast and accurate. I was informed of the drink and food specials. I ordered a gin and tonic, my friend had a sangria. Both delish. I had the mango chipotle chicken. It was OUTSTANDING. It's rare I go to a chain restaurant and am thoroughly impressed with a meal. This dish was the exception. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars, was the previous experiences I have had. I will be sure to return for the chicken dish and great service. read more

The wife and I have ate here many times and always love going back. We have never left disappointed because the one time we were unhappy with something, they were determined to make it right. We ordered an appetizer of chicken wings to share before our meal but we weren't a fan of the style (they seemed overcooked and dry, but we were told that's just how they made them). We only had a couple wings before setting the plate on the edge of the table for the server to take away. She asked us if we liked them and all I said was "It wasn't my favorite and likely won't order them again". Afterwards she was insistent on sending over the manager to make it right, even though we insisted it wasn't a big deal. The manager said he would take it off the bill and suggested another appetizer to try (glazed salmon... something?) and it was delicious. The manager also got into small talk with us asking what kinds of food we liked, upon answering he suggested some other great restaurants in town to try. We were quite shocked a restaurant manager would suggest other places to eat, his response "Well, I know you're not going to eat here EVERYtime". Truly awesome, Moxie's remains our number one place to go out for a nice supper. read more

I was at Moxie's from little while back couple years ago we had a much better experience than that we did tonight it was my husband and I first year anniversary dinner we chose Moxie's to go to called and made a reservation her server was polite nice and we had ordered starter was his salad and my soup soup was fine but the last time I remember having cloth napkin and we had a paper napkin something you'd expect at McDonald's not a nice restaurant considering we could have spent $20 at McDonald's where we spent over $100 at Moxie's when my husband was nearly done as salad found a big old hair just clung to the side of his plate. we ordered our meal I had to ask for butter their was nothing on the table other than Salt and Pepper. when we ordered our meal and I ordered ribs there was only one type of potato to choose from which was double baked. we had nothing extra to go to with our meal like buns thought we would least get a basket of buns nothing the menu said mini dessert came free with order of sides so when are server came to get our plates asked if we'd like to see the dessert menu we says yes we sure would so we ordered them in the desert which were pecan cheesecake so we ordered two of those when I order dessert came it look like it was cut in half it was about 3 inches by 3 Inches round and will look at mine I look at his and said you have like they cut it in half and put one on each plate I didn't think that was good to begin with then our bill came charged us for the cheesecake which said that we would receive free . We had to tell the waitress the waitress said that it was our responsibility to inform her of this and that she would go and correct the bill overall it was not a very pleasant night out for our first year anniversary with knowing what to expect we probably will not go back after the amount of money that we spent we thought it was pretty unworthy experience I told my husband we could have went to McDonald's and had much the same experience for a lot less cost my husband and I is rating is two thumbs down read more
