This is such a wonderful restaurant and we are lucky to have it here in Lake Orion! The menu has so many options - delicious coney dogs, Philly cheese steak sandwiches and much more. I enjoyed the Greek chicken wrap - the chicken was perfectly done and tasted great with beets, feta cheese and Greek dressing. I had the combo which included fries and a drink. The fries were extremely good - I actually ate them all. These are very generous portions at a great price! My Dad eats here often and loves the Reuben sandwich. It's so tasty and stacked tall with corned beef and kraut. The quality of food is excellent here and it's easy to go thru the takeout drive. The staff is extra kind and friendly. Our family comes here many times each week and I enjoy it when I visit too. read more

First time at this place and I won't be back, ordered two coney dogs and a french fry. First the coney dog tasted like the hot dog or chili was old, just had a taste I couldn't get over to eat more than two bites. The fries were warm at best like they had been cooked and sat under a heat light. The staff were friendly but that's the only plus for me. read more

We've tried Orion Coney Express a couple of times since my initial review. The quality of both food and service has remained high throughout lockdown. The chili cheese fries are amazing...a meal in itself for (i think) 3.99. Try it, you will not be disappointed. We also ordered chocolate shakes and while the flavor is subtle, the consistency is nice and thick, super tasty! I inquired about Sunday hours in the future (right now they are closed) and was told the owner was considering adding it to the schedule. That would be great. read more

Quick coney food is a plus. Plus their Greek fries are phenomenal. Service is always with smile.

The food is pretty decent. The only thing I'd never eat again is the lamb gyro... but everything else is good. The salad is big enough for two to share. The only real negative is The drive thru staff isn't always friendly, but that has no real affect on the food. The drive thru live moves quick. We've also sat at the picnic table they have outside , and just wish they'd clean them as they're usually dirty, but we just take a minute to wipe them down. The walk up window is easy and quick as well. We usually eat from here a few times a month. read more

This is the second time I have visited this restaurant/drive thru. The first time, I ordered a combo and they forgot the French fries. When I went yesterday, I said "please don't forget the french fries this time" And they didn't, they forgot the lemonade. I really enjoyed our meal! Hubs went to grab us lunch recently and I was in heaven. I had the Greek chicken pita and the chicken was tender and there was the perfect amount of dressing too! Literally my only suggestion would be to add pitted kalmata olives. We had an order of the mozzarella sticks too. They were pretty basic but were cooked perfectly and really hit the spot! Really wanted to love this place. Great menu selections for drive-thru service, and prices are fair. I ordered a Chicago dog, which was beautiful in presentation, but the hot dog itself was ice cold...and considering I took my first bite before I left the parking lot, it isn't because it sat in my car before eating! The chili cheese fries were plentiful, but the fries weren't cooked enough. They bent like worms. Chili on top is flavorful, but cheese sauce is really watery. I will go back to try something else, but sure hope to have a better meal next time! I would hate to lose this local business that really could do so well! read more

I've been here a couple times and it been ok and the service was ah. However, about three times ago there was a woman with dark hair and long lashes that seemed to be new. I've her her twice since. She is SO pleasant and my food has been better and always correct when she's there. I have to assume she's one of the owners and if she is not, then she deserves recognition for her professionalism and customer service! The food is great for a coney and the convenience of a drive thru (especially when you have a toddler in the car) is great! read more

Got dinner here for the first time last night. Food was really good! I got the Greek chicken pita, I'm super picky when it comes to chicken and was very happy with it :) the fries were great too. My husband got coneys and chili fries.. he liked his as well. My only complaint was that we called in our order and still had to wait for the (4 cars) people who were in the drive thru lane to order and get their food. By the time it was my turn ,our food had been sitting for a bit and wasn't very warm. Not sure if that's how it always is or not ... maybe they could do something like other drive thrus where those waiting for their food to be Prepared can pull up out of the way and wait ... We will definitely go back just may not call ahead. The owners were very nice too !! read more

Ordered on line because I wanted a Patty Melt and wanted it to be grilled, not just warm bread. Doesn't make a difference if you order on line, you still have to wait in the drive thru. Burger itself was very dry, over cooked and the bread was barely grilled. Also had American cheese, not swiss. Chili fries were hot and I would order again. Just wouldn't suggest a Pattie Melt. New drive thru coney island with amazing food and service! Used to be an old Checkers drive thru. Especially in this difficult time, Lake Orion is lucky that a coney island took over this old Checkers building. It's always nice to see a new restaurant open up during this time and give people another delicious option to try. I went at lunchtime so I decided to start with a simple coney island classic: cheese fries. You can really judge a coney island by their cheese fries, and these cheese fries were some of the best I've had from any coney island. Their fries are perfectly fried greasy goodness and the cheese sauce has a really rich cheddar flavor that I love. The lady taking our order was very nice. I can't wait to come back and try more of what they have to offer! read more

I had a relatively large order and my friends and I got a wide variety of things to try. Everything we had was really good! It took awhile to place our order, you can tell that they're new but that will obviously improve as time goes on. They're portions were big and everything was reasonable priced, I will for sure be returning. read more

I never leave reviews unless I have a bad experience, but i had to leave one here because im so happy this place opened! I live right by Indianwood country club and I can't stand going to Leo's to get food like this. Had the cheeseburger, so amazing. Seems like its cooked with fresh beef which is awesome! Toasted bun too, which not a lot of places seem to do. Takes little effort, i always appreciate the small touches. My only complaint, the cheese fries are always soggy when i get them. If you can make those fries crispier i dont think this place could get any better. Hope you guys stay here for a while! I see the same couple cars outside so I can tell this is a small operation. Hopefully when the COVID restrictions are lifted you guys can stay open later too! read more
