Even my tax collectors told me that DK screwed up. When I asked to schedule a call with a partner to discuss the matter, they refused to even talk it over. Instead, they took an totally adversarial approach, and cited this language in their engagement letter: "You have the final responsibility for the income tax returns, and therefore, you should review them carefully before you sign them." Simply translated: 'You pay for our screw-ups.' So if you are an accountant and can ensure their work is proper, maybe you are in a good position to hire them. I think you can also upload the papers instead of making a visit to drop off papers. They're efficient and I'm certainly more confident in their tax prep work than i would ever be in my own!
