No matter how I laid it out, it flipped on my neck. Instead of simply shooing me away with the ole "all tennis necklaces flip" statement like every other jeweler, Greg inserted an ingenious metal wire behind a few inches of the necklace in the front, had me come in for a few fittings to make sure the curvature followed the natural lines of my collarbone, and voilà! It's now perfect!!!! He saved me from chucking a multi-thousand dollar piece!! Plus, Greg resized a ring for 1/4 the price of Fast Fix, used some leftover diamonds after shortening my tennis necklace to make me a matching ring, and fixed clasps of many bracelets for me. The women behind the desk looks it over, sizes it to my wrist and says let me take off just one link and it will fit best. She says it will cost $15.00 and take about 30 minutes. I say take your time, I will sit here on these nice chairs and do work on my phone. She goes to the bench with my bracelet. About 20 minutes later, she consults with the man behind the counter who I think was the owner. She goes back behind the counter and he goes to the bench for about 10 minutes to work on the bracelet. He come back out and changes places with her for another 5 minutes--she works on it again. Then he call me up to the counter and says she is the best, better than me at these things, but we can't figure out how to unscrew the bolt that is holding the link. He says they have the right tool--it just will not turn the bolt, sorry. He did not charge me because they could not do the job. So I asked him since you have been in the Jewelry business so long do you know another place or jeweler that may have the tools/knowledge to shorten this bracelet? He said, "No."
