This isn't like your family doctor who will look at you from across the room, write you a script and send you on your way; Doc Andrew had my issues completely pegged in his initial evaluation and was telling ME my symptoms better than I could explain them to him just by going through his process. And then he explained WHY I'm having these issues, and how they can help correct them with a multi-pronged approach to getting relief in the short-term, and then rebuilding my body to do what I want in the long-term. Quite honestly, this is the exact type of guidance, treatment, and coaching I had been looking for for YEARS. FACILITIES: if you're like me and didn't know what to expect, you'll find the OB&MT office near the back entrance to Universal Studios, so it's an easy location to get to. Parking is easy, right in front. Reception area is warm, as are the young ladies staffing the front desk, bolstered by the presence of their neighbor tenant Miles To Go's offerings. From there, you'll find extremely clean treatment rooms and a superbly equipped large training room, outfitted with all of the gear the team needs and things I never knew existed, like the Iron Neck, which isn't available in my local gyms and would cost me hundreds to buy on my own. RESULTS: I've been utilizing their Hybrid-Corrective program for 2 months now, and I'm amazed at every session. Whether it's deep tissue, cupping, Graston, stretching, and breathing work with Kristin & Pierre; chiro adjustments & check-ins with Doc Andrew; or the intense new exercise knowledge & training I've gotten from Jesse, I leave there each day I visit knowing that I got better - either from instant relief, or the issues we found and worked out (and be sore from for days), or the issues we found and we'll target next. Let me start by saying I have been using OBMT since they opened in 2013 and it has been great to see the team continue to grow and add more services to their "menu". In 2016 when I lost my father, I made some unintelligent choices that resulted in me injuring my right shoulder. Naturally, as an existing client, I called on OBMT to help me through my treatments. Geared toward body builders and those looking to restore functionality to their body through chiropractic care, physical training, and soft tissue work (massage). All in all a great concept. Great in concept but they just lost their massage therapist and chiropractor. Chiropractic care was great but coordination between all the aspects and presentation were a little lacking. Let me start by saying that everyone who works here is so incredibly caring and passionate for what they do. As soon as you walk in their office you are greeted by the sweetest receptionists who want to get to know you. Now, let's get to the magic they do! I have been suffering for years with chronic pain/fatigue and let down by hundreds of doctors who claimed they would "fix me" to no avail. I've been butchered by surgeons who claimed that's what I needed, stuffed with medications that did nothing but mess with my nervous system and stomach, and so on. Pain was growing daily to the point I was giving up on everything, I couldn't even get off the couch. Orlando Body and Movement was my last hope and I'm SO glad I came to see them.
