We are from NY, we got a place in FL and we need a car. Looking for a car to buy, we've seen a Honda Pilot with the FOR SALE signs in the window, we called the number listed and Pedro showed up immediately from his nearby shop. First impression of him ... honest and willing to help in the same time. You have to read the story to see how first impression is deceiving in the end. The car was left on consignment by his customer, we ask him about the history, problems etc of the car and he assured us, and swears that everything works, everything is OK , he says that he knows the car in and out because he is doing the service .... first he said the price is $4900 but after few moments I asked what is the lowest the owner will take and he said the price the customer is willing to sale is $4300 and he gets from the customer $200 for the service. Initially, we offered $4000 asking him to call the owner with the offer, but he refused to call, then we offered $4200, but he didn't even budge and we ending paying $4300. Next day I found out that the window regulator on driver rear door it's not working. I called Pedro's shop and Lilian, his wife answered the phone, she told me that they didn't know about the window and if the customer didn't say anything to them they don't know. (I don't like to be lied, that was the reason I called Pedro next day) Case close basically ... Not having the maintenance history from the begging I researched the VIN # on vinrevise.com to find out about dealer service etc and the result comes back that the car was sold at a car Auction ... I was not happy whit my finding, so I researched some more and found out the owner's phone# , I called him and found out that the internet finding was inaccurate , I had a nice conversation with both of them (husband and wife) and found out few interesting details regarding price the of the car and the window history . - Price of the car was set by the owner as $3600 and Pedro jacked up the price $700 (I hope he was not paid the $200 he claimed he get paid for the service, on top of it), for sure the owner never seen $4100. Wouldn't be nice for the amount of money they paid him over the years, to get as much money for the car as it's possible? - Window regulator - Pedro knew about it, because he gave the owner an estimate for repair. Pedro was crying about how much is protecting his costumers and how much is respecting them and he is doing this to help the client and so much bla -bla ( he is a good violinist) I realize he has only good reviews on Google but this time he blew it In my honest opinion Pedro is dishonest, insincere, lying individual and all this makes Lilian accomplice. Life moves on, my experience with this encounter has been very poorly and I hope that the next person is aware of it My recommendation it is not to thrust Lilian or Pedro If I can make aware at least one person ... my effort and time to wright this review it's paid off. I was greeted by the owners wife, Lillian. When I asked about The shops experience with the problem I am having, she did not seem to be able to answer questions about my particular vehicle. She apparently took issue with my question saying that I was "disrespecting her". I'm not sure how much longer do you expect to be in business with an attitude that in turn shows disrespect for her customer. I cannot recommend repair shop. read more

I moved here from California. I had a timing chain issue with my 2008 Honda Accord. I could not get anybody to correctly diagnose due to the on and off noise. I went online and saw they had 5 star reviews. I was leary but took a chance because I was desperate. Took my vehicle in because my clutch pedal was going all the way to the floor with no pressure, turns out it was my slave cylinder. I had a warranty company that helped take care of the issue all I had to pay was $100 for the entire job. This p.o.s of an owner took 2 months to work on my car, he mostly kept blaming it on his tech that he hadn't shown up to work for a couple of days and usually when he no calls like that he using drugs, exactly what the owner said. Finally I get my car back and that problem was surprisingly resolved but now I have another problem my check engine light kept coming on so I took it back they took the code off because the supposedly fixed the issue but it kept coming back on days later, I finally took it to VW North and they fixed the issue, there were 3 tubes to help circulate the air for the intake one was broken another put on backwards and the 3rd was not even there. $470 that VW charged me to fix their big mistake and the owner refuses to pay me back. They fix one problem and create another so you can keep going back. The other issue was my warranty company paid them they sent me a statement showing that they paid them and the owner was saying that I owed him for the bill, when you look up the word Crook in the dictionary you'll see his photo. Stay away from this shop or you'll be the next one to get your problem fixed but most likely come out with more issues to fix then when you first went in. read more

I have been going to Pedro at Orlando Car Clinic at least 14 years with our cars and before that our minivans. I will only buy a brand that he works on. Our 2013 RDX had the check engine light on last week. Pedro was able to quickly diagnose the problems and quote a super fair itemized price for the repair. He treats every car as if it were his own. He was able to get the parts and fix the car in one day when most places would have taken at least 2 or 3 days to diagnose, get parts and fix the car. I have a 2014 Acura MDX that has over 118,000 miles on it and drives like it was brand new thanks to Pedro. Orlando Car Clinic is a family business as Pedro's wife Lillian also works there and is very kind and helpful for scheduling appointments, showing you the repair estimate and always being honest about what can wait and what needs repaired right away so your car doesn't run into big problems. They are totally honest and their prices are extremely fair. When Pedro fixes your car you can rest assured it is fixed correctly. I would give Orlando Car Clinic 10 stars if I could! read more

We took our Honda in for service since it was acting like it had transmission problems. It would not start sometimes. It seemed like we were going to have major problems with the car. They recommended we do the 100k service, replace the broken engine mounts and a differential flush/oil change don't remember exact terms but wow when we picked it up it drove like a brand new car. No more vibration. Did not have to replace the transmission. He checked all the fluids. Did a completely evaluation of the car gave us a list of things that needed to be service and the cost in the order of importance. To top it all off he even lube the doors so that they closed really easy. Loved the service, the attention to detail and the price is very reasonable. Best mechanic I have ever had. I would highly recommend them. It is refreshing to find someone who is upfront and honest with you. They are more interested in having a long term relationship as your mechanic than taking advantage of you for a quick gain. I am very impressed. I would highly recommend this mechanic.
