I came in to get the starter replaced on a 2014 Honda Civic (not a European car!). I originally requested a quote via Yelp and got an almost immediate response, which was unlike any other auto repair shop in Central FL. The quote ended up being nearly $600 less than I was quoted at the dealership for the same service! This place is clean, efficient, and will get you in and out the door fast without trying to sell you anything extra. They are also particularly responsive and eager to answer any questions. Thought we would give them a try.. nice shop and guys working there seem pretty nice at the desk but some of the services recommended by them were not needed at all and frankly, some of them even fabricated. So hard to find a shop that just will be dead honest no matter what and do the right thing regardless. Funny thing is, if they would just operate with the understanding that we will be honest and repair your vehicle today for less and that in turn, you will come back for years to come and they will wind up making more money from you over the long-term than a short term potential gouge. We actually wound up taking our vehicle back to the dealership and shockingly enough, they proved to us that a couple of the parts that JSI was telling us needed to be replaced we're functioning per manufacturers specs and not problematic at all. Needless to say, we will not be taking our vehicles back to this shop and we're not telling anyone not to go there, just trying to make other's aware of our experience that's all. read more

My vehicle could not start on January 13th so I had it towed to JSI on January 16th to fix. They checked the vehicle and the diagnose was to remove and replace Engine Control Module. I gave the okay to do the job. On January 22nd I went and picked up the car however, the car was idling ruff and keep shutting off. I took it back to them to check the module they replaced if something was off, they gave it back to me the same way In the end I took it to another Mechanic who figured out what was wrong with the car as simple as a fuse blown and replacing a cylinder. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND JSI TO ANYONE. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK. The service I got was very unprofessional, yes nice place but nice place does not fix cars. Jovany charge me a lot of money to fix my car and gave it back to me running like a truck, he did not take the time to really check the car out. Awesome Service at a fraction of OEM pricing! Exceptional response, the right level of detail, reasonable pricing and full levels of service. We have used JSI to service our two Mercedes vehicles for 2 years now. Previously we used the dealer and when dealers stopped offering loaner vehicles, there was no reason to pay the premium. I struggled to find someone I would trust and I am so happy we found JSI. Scheduling is easy, just a phone call or even an email works well. They are very responsive. They let you know what is needed and recommended for your vehicle and provide detailed pricing. They service our '18 E400 Coupe and '15 GLK250 (diesel). Recently had them install new tires on the E400 coupe with alignment and could not be happier. We moved from Clermont area to East Side of Orlando and now drive all the way from Wedgefield to use their services. The most recent service I needed to wait for the car to be completed. The service was prompt, their waiting room is clean and welcoming and the staff is awesome. Fun conversations too! The team is honest and transparent about your vehicle's needs and respect that just because you own a nice car, you do not need to pay through the nose to service it. True confession: I do not like the inflated repair costs I typically get at a Mercedes-Benz dealership. I found JSI European Specialist to be cheaper and provide better service for my car. For example, I had a low coolant sensor, which the dealership couldn't figure out the issue, since the "computer" would not be able to fix it. JSI used some old fashioned problem-solving to try other options to fix this issue that you would think a high $ dealership could diagnose. The problem was fixed timely and JSI would only charge me for what items were needed to fix it. I highly recommend JSI as your local alternative to Repair Mercedes-Benz vehicles. read more

I am now here for my 3rd time and so far, I am very satisfied with the work they have done. They are expensive, on par with the dealership, but I think they are worth the expense. Jovani told me all the things my car needed, and then pointed out which items were most important and which I could wait to repair. It's a little early to tell, but so far, I feel very comfortable bringing my car here. I finally found a garage I can trust. April 3, 2020: Update: I just received a text message from Jovany. This is my first time to take my Audi to JSI but it will certainly not be the last. For the past 5 years I've been taking it to Audi South Orlando but my last visit was the straw that broke the camel's back. Thank God I was able to come across Jovany. He is the man! Pros: Nice, clean shop with knowledgeable team. Seem to do quality work relatively quickly. Able to schedule appointments promptly and quickly. Cons: Service value seems to be slipping in order to drive revenue with unnecessary services. Having come here for several years, this is bot the service that we came to expect or experience since opening. Service recommendations used to be made on actual inspections, now they are made based "suggested maintenance schedule." Example: Suggests brake pads replaced except had breaks done by this shop less than 5,000 miles ago. Didn't look at them, just told well that's what the book recommends. Said needed to replace air-filter but never checked to see I had just replaced it before bringing into service. I want to trust my service team, that they have my back and that what is being suggested is needed not just what they want to sell me. This totally brings down the value of going here. Have taken four separate vehicles there's from our family and have experienced these new "recommendations" repeatedly this tells me this is how they do business now. I did want to believe it was a one off exception but this last experience clearly demonstrates otherwise. Used to be able to trust the advice of this team and now leaves me questioning any of service suggestions and will have to get second opinions. Always highly recommended this location, clearly trusting with four different cars on several occasions but now just another shop. While work seems to be well done, the shady recommendations make me question the business model. Would like to hope this improves and for basic services, a good location but remember, caveat emptor (buyer beware). Hope your experience is better. read more

I have had my 2014 Jaguar XJL cooling system repaired 3 times within a 3 month period at JSI and the issue was never properly fixed. Late January 2024 I took my car to JSI for a coolant leak, which they apparently repaired. Less than 2 weeks later on Super Bowl Sunday 2024 my car starting leaking coolant again from the bottom. The first job was for the upper cooling system. The 2nd job was for the lower cooling system. Then on May 3rd 2024 a had another coolant leak coming from the Thermostat Housing unit and JSI said this was not something they fixed before so damage was not under warranty from previous repairs. I lack confidence in JSI to properly repair my car and I beleive the previous repairs provided were intentionally done incorrectly to assure future leaks and coolant issues so that i would return to JSI for more repairs. I took my vehicle back from JSI after the 3rd leak and took my business somewhere else. BAD SERVICE!!! read more

I have an '08 VW Beetle that seems to always have something wrong with it. When the check engine light came on again just three months after a huge round of repairs, I decided to bring her here. The guys here do NOT disappoint. They were very prompt in returning my initial request for an appointment and were able to have me in the very next day. They kept me updated every single step of the way, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood the repairs they were doing. My favorite thing is that they drove my car, not just around the block, but for a good distance and multiple times to be entirely sure that what they did for repairs actually fixed the problem. After moving to the central FL area, my Jetta began to experience some issues with the coolant system. Of course, this issue coincided with the expiration of my warranty. In order to avoid the high prices of the dealership mechanics, I shopped around and found JSI; boy, am I glad I did! Jovany runs a top-notch business and the quality truly shows. Not only was he attentive to my car's needs and listened to me (in my terrible lack of mechanical knowledge) try to explain what it was doing, but he explained everything to me in terms that were very easy to understand. It's hard these days to find people that have passion for what they do, but Jovany and his team truly do. In this day and age, its nearly impossible to find someone who really cares about their customers and their satisfaction, but JSI excels at it. We've been looking for an auto shop for our vehicles for years now and came across this shop. Jovany was pleasant at face value. We took our truck got part of the issues fixed and after repair he followed up with a text to see how the truck is running. Good customer service, yes. That was nice. Although we found his estimate expensive we had to take care the the issues. One issue was the breaks. He was going to charge close to 600 but we told him we had the part. And we did and paid a lot less like 200 for it while he was going to charge 400. Next vehicle that needed repairs was my son's car. Turbo was bad. Fortunately for us it was partially covered by warranty but his prices were significantly higher. For new parts & install 8500. For remanufactured was about 4000. My warranty company said it was a ridiculous price but I didn't believe them. We got the warranty co to pay for remanufactured for 1000 and we still had to pay out of pocket of another 1000 because of JSI expensive prices. My husband found a website ECS tuning that sells exactly same turbo kits that JSI charges individual prices. The turbo kit that is new is about 1600. Way less that the 3000 JSI was about to charge us that's why we opted for the reman and that was still a lot. When we picked up the car, we paid but brought up how expensive his parts are. Told him we found a website he was aware of it but he was just dumbfounded and could defend the outrageous prices he was charging. Point of this, don't go to this shop. Search for others or go directly to the dealership as they will charge pretty much same price. To date, there was no follow up text because he knew he was dishonest. And not to much of a surprise the car is making noise that it didn't have before. Was it this shop that tweaked the car so we can come back? Probably. read more

I was looking for a reliable car mechanic for our 2 new (used) cars from Carmax. The Carmax warranty recommended JSI, because they have ASE certified mechanic, so we brought our cars in for various things. Jovany and the team did a great job of working on our cars.  My son's car is a Dodge Challenger and mine is a Ford Escape. So, just because their title says European Specialist, they work on all cars. The first time I came in, there was some weird thing showing up on my dashboard. The mechanic looked into it for me and said I had to take it to a Ford dealership because it was a factory reset issue. Jovany didn't even charge me for the visit and then called me later to see how things were going. He is really great at keeping you informed through text or phone calls and he follows up with you to see how your car is doing. The mechanic takes pictures of what they did on your car and texts them to you. The place is clean and new (which a woman appreciates) and they have complimentary cold water and coffee. You can make an appointment and they are good at getting you in on time. They also have a complimentary shuttle service if the work on your car is going to take a while, which I really appreciate.
