Through each one, Dr Meisenheimer carefully diagnosed and put me at ease that things would work out. He also takes the time to listen and explain things and how it will be resolved. I find that important because it tells me he honestly cares about each patient as an individual and is in tune with explaining things truthfully and so each understands what and why a course of treatment is necessary. An added bonus is Dr M's commitment to the community as a mentor to young people in a couple of different sports; most of those swim related I believe. I know he swims probably 5 miles or so everyday, which I find amazing! Aside from Dr M's great skill in doing precision skin cancer surgery and diagnosing, he is also a writer of SyFy books and holds the Guinness world Record for his collection of Yo-Yos. I've seen the actual Guinness plaque in his office. Dr Meisenheimer's office is pristine and professional on every level, but knowing these added 'real life' things he has accomplished away from his office has a way of putting patients at ease while in the waiting room. At least it has for me and my family. I think one of the things I look forward to MOST when I go for a check up or a procedure is hearing Dr M's genuine and robust greeting when he comes in a patient's room. All my worries go away when he comes in with a warm and GENUINE greeting. Dr Meisenheimer also helps student doctors by mentoring them to be successful. If you are new in town or been here a while and need a dermatologist, Dr Meisenheimer is the VERY BEST in Orlando and as far as I am concerned, the best in the world. I sincerely bless the day I first walked into his office, and am so grateful he resolved a malignant melanoma that was in my neck. Without his knowledge and skill, I might not be able to write this review today. I am truly FOREVER grateful and will remain a forever loyal patient of Dr Meisenheimer and his wonderful staff.

I know he is trying to keep his practice profitable but this bothered me. The first mole was 140 and the second was 60. I have never had this happen to me. I was warned by the doctor before he removed them . I was there and wanted them gone so I paid it. This was a first at a dermatologist office. I would not do it again.... If you want extra moles removed you must be prepared to pay at this office. I was happy with him as a doctor though.

Outside of getting monthly injection treatments they also offered me a prescribed topical ointment that's been working nicely. I've also had moles checked with my yearly check-ups and had some laser treatment to remove some spots I was self-conscious about. Regardless of what I've been here for I always feel comfortable and well-cared for which is why I highly recommend this place. The parking may seem tricky since this building is right off of a main road and you'll only see a few spots in the front, but there is plenty of parking in the back. She mentioned it was a follow-up appointment and that those issues were not part of the visit, and she would need to consult the doctor for further review. Despite needing only 30 minutes, I received pushback, and the doctor seemed annoyed when I asked questions and expressed concerns. This made me feel as if I were being talked down to and treated like a child ultimately the visit was rushed when there was no reason to do so. I was on time and their was no fault on my part and when I scheduled I noted exactly what the need was. I understand that being a practitioner is challenging, especially in a teaching institution, but it is never acceptable for a provider to show the disdain that this provider showed. I specifically asked about fillers, but instead Dr. P recommended Botox and assured me it would fix the issue. I paid for the Botox treatment, but it only lasted about a month and the line quickly came back. What was even more disappointing was the recommendation for a BBL treatment to remove the dark spots on my face. I trusted the advice and spent a significant amount of money on this treatment, but my dark spots did not improve at all. After the treatment, when I sent photos to the office showing that nothing had changed, I was told that I would need additional treatments that were never mentioned during my initial consultation, and those treatments would cost even more money. I felt misled and extremely frustrated. I spent a lot of money based on their recommendations and saw no real results. Instead of addressing the problem, the solution seemed to be recommending more expensive treatments. That experience felt very disappointing and unprofessional.
