Dr. Bachoura is the third orthopedist I have seen in the area for my hands/wrists and he is absolutely wonderful! I saw the Rothman Orthopedic building in downtown Orlando and thought, "Well, may as well try that practice." I am so happy they have their practice name on a skyscraper! From the moment I walked in, I was helped immediately by friendly staff. I could not use my right hand, and they made sure my new patient check in went smoothly. The reception area is large, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing, as are the radiology room and the patient rooms. Wait time was minimal for every step of my visit. I was impressed with the way the doctor and staff listened to my concerns and acknowledged and discussed them all with me. The doctor explained my issues and treatment plan very well in terms I could easily understand, and he was patient in listening to and answering all of my questions. I was also impressed to see very modern technology used which I have not seen in my many past visits to various orthopedists. I was at a level 10 pain when I entered the office. I was at a zero pain level when I left the office! I am very happy and content now knowing I have such a wonderful doctor and team to take care of my hands and wrists! I will be making an appointment with a shoulder specialist at the practice next week, and I will also be making an appointment for my husband (knee) very soon. I started walking on the treadmill, which led to jogging and eventually running outside. 7 years later, I'm at roughly my ideal weight and I run, both competitively and as a matter of routine. The trouble is, I never had any formal coaching or training and so I've made some mistakes in training that ultimately led to a rather severe injury to my hamstring. I visited my doctor and he confirmed the injury and referred me to CORA PT just down the road from his office. I had been to PT at Orlando Ortho in the past for my lower back, so I had some idea of what to expect, but CORA's approach was different. I met with the Phil, the physician, who immediately diagnosed some weakness in my hips and glutes that likely caused some compensation in my gait that led to the injury. Phil took his time to explain every treatment, exercise and stretch to insure that I knew exactly how I was going to get back to running. From there on out, I came to CORA twice per week for the next several weeks. All of the therapists I met with were meticulous and caring, often juggling me and several other patients, but never leaving me sitting around wondering what to do next. In addition, I met with Phil every other week or so to gauge my progress, and again he made sure I understood where I started and what progress had been made. Eventually, they had me run on their low-gravity ("Alter-G") treadmill, which allowed me to run again at about half my weight, just to see how close I was to normal function. When the time came and I was running a mile on the Alter-G with most of my weight, they cleared me to go back to my normal routine. I'm happy to say that I no longer experience pain in my hamstrings at all. My stretching routine is more well-informed and I was able to get back to my normal running mileage within a month of ramping up distance week-over-week. I'm grateful to all the staff at CORA PT in Lake Mary. Though I wasn't recovering from a surgery or major injury, they took my concerns just as seriously and developed a plan, which resulted in an ideal outcome and in short order. I couldn't ask for anything more of a physical therapist and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

When I yelled stop, she continued to bend and stretch my shoulder until I had swelling, my surgical site was hard as a rock and I had spasms for days! I complained and asked to go to another office as all other employees never caused me any discomfort. 4 months later, I still have swelling, weakness and immobility of my shoulder and arm. I reached out to the Corporate office informing them of my intentions to get an MRI of the injury to see what damage their employee caused me. The new surgeon who corrected Dr. Gideon's "hack job" stated when performing the surgery to correct everything, that he could actually pull the screws and brackets that were all loose and he could pull the hardware out with his fingers. My wife used a bone stimulator as requested by Dr. Gideon, it didn't help heal her foot.THE PAIN WAS SO UNBEARABLE! SHE REQUESTED AN APPOINTMENT AFTER SURGERY AND DR. My mother's elderly neighbor fell on a tile floor and shattered her patella in six 'pieces'. Her excellent outcome is due, in part, to her own resilience and the fact that she exercises. However, Dr. Konsens, who wired the aforementioned shattered patella, made this possible, as without an excellent surgeon, this lady would never have been ambulatory without crutches, wheelchair, cane, etc. A former colleague of mine, who was an avid runner, also had Dr. Konsens as her surgeon, and she, too, had an excellent outcome. Based upon what I have seen of his work, I would highly recommend Dr. Konsens,although I can't honestly say that I know anything about his office staff.

I still am in constant pain, my range on a good day is 90-95 if I'm lucky. I can't walk long distances, still can't use the stairs and a bike, well I through it out. I can NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. If he would have listened to my concerns we would have been able to correct some of my issues in a timely matter. Severe leg and knee pain led me to an orthopedic group for evaluation. A cortisone shot did not…read moreseem like the right solution because it would only mask the problem rather than address the cause, so I was referred to the Ability Rehabilitation group next door. Chris gave me a warm welcome, helped me get set up as a patient, and scheduled a series of appointments along with an initial exam. When I arrived for my first appointment, we discovered that my phone had blocked their calls, so I missed the message asking me to reschedule because of an unexpected therapist change. Rather than sending me away, Director Corey arranged for another location to see me so I would not lose momentum in my recovery. I appreciated that effort. My second appointment at the Oviedo location was with Bianca, who was thorough and highly professional in her assessment. My third appointment was with Nathan. He was direct, listened carefully to my concerns, and worked to address each issue head-on. I appreciated his professionalism and the progress I made with each visit. When I reached a milestone in my recovery, he recommended reducing my visits from twice a week to once a week. Each appointment was tailored to my progress, with clear explanations of why we were doing certain activities and what goals we hoped to achieve. I continued to see improvement as I practiced the recommended exercises to support my recovery. As I approached my "graduation" from the program, Nathan made sure I left with stretches and exercises to keep strengthening my legs, hips, and ankles and help prevent future issues. He also provided a resource for additional information and offered to answer any questions afterward. This level of customer service is rare today. Thank you for such a positive experience and for listening and tailoring a program to meet my specific needs, both now and in the future.
