Since I do not have a car, it was preferable to have the scooter delivered to my hotel (something the business prides itself on). When I called the store, the employee that answered the phone told me that because of traffic, they couldn't deliver any scooters on that day. Didn't ask me where it was getting dropped off, just a straight no. I asked if they could deliver another day or time within the next few weeks that was more convenient; he proceeded to rudely tell me, over and over again, that he was with another customer and if I wanted to rent I had to pick it up myself. Hung up the phone, since I could tell they weren't willing to offer any real solutions. I'm sure the scooters here are fine, but delivery isn't guaranteed. Looks like I'll be picking up a rental car from Enterprise instead.

Our scooter wouldn't start after we at at some restaurant so we walked to the show to let them know. They told us all we had to do was call and they would have come to us so we didn't have to walk. He told us he'd give us a new scooter and he'll deal with the other one. He seemed really concerned we had to walk, but we assured him it was ok because it was only a few blocks. That was really awesome and that made me want to tell y'all about it! Our flight left at 7 am but they didn't open until 10 so they let us park our scooter on the street and leave the keys in the drop box. I really appreciated the helpfulness and flexibility of the staff. The first guy who checked us out gave us some clubs to go to and some ppl to mention if we want to get in for free. One of their shop owners literally drove the 10 miles to meet me, gave me a spare key, and went on his way. When I rode back to the shop late, expecting a bill for the key I lost, the drive to meet me, and for being late... all they could say was, "no charge" with a smile on their faces. They had every right to leave me with a big bill and they did just the opposite. What an act of grace, generosity, and good customer service. Not to mention, the bikes were reasonably priced, we're in great shape, and they fit them to our bodies in terms of the seat. I can't say enough good things about these guys. What a blessing.

My wife and I visited ft lauderdale in December 2023. We decided we wanted to try mopeds for the first time. We went to hot scooter rental. Big mistake. We rented the scooters and put the deposit on a capital one card, but the guy insisted we pay in cash. We payed in cash for a day rental, and we returned the scooters 2 hours early. No drama or issues or damage. The place was busy, but I let the guy know we're were back and I asked about a receipt, and he said it would be a bit, but we were good. It was a hot, long day and we just wanted to leave. Big mistake our my part. We left and thought all was good. About a month later there was a $600 dollar charge on the capital one card. My wife called and we found put it was from hot scooter rentals. The guy claimed we broke the contract because we made a reservation, and never showed up to rent the mopeds. We fought capital one for months, but lost because we don't have a receipt It's completely our fault for not getting a receipt, but screw the owner for ripping us off. Now we have to pay $600 for not renting mopeds that we rented and had a good time on. The owner is a thief and scammer. Plus the mopeds were decades old and falling apart.
