We have been to the Orleans Arena but not the Showroom. This review is for the showroom itself although I do include an overview of the show we attended. The venue is older but still nice with comfortable seating, great stage view from all seats, there is plenty of aisle space between seating rows, lights and sound are good, and temperature is comfortable. The staff is also helpful and friendly, and parking of course is convenient and free. We saw Murray's Misfits which was an entertaining and amazing show with Murray the Magician performing his comedy and magic, singers, jugglers and other Magicians from the the Las Vegas area. Overall, we had a fun and great experience here at this venue. read more

What a show!! I thought this auditorium was perfectly sized for a musical. I saw Jersey Boys and every seat in the house was a good view! And, super up close too. The actors, phenomenal. The actor playing Frankie Valli? If I shut my eyes I'd think it were Frankie himself. Maybe not to that extreme, but you know what I mean. The set? Exactly all they needed to pull off a great show. It was nothing too crazy overboard, but also it didn't feel like they skimped out at all. They also made great use of the screen in the back to add fun elements to the show in relation to the storyline. The line to get in was moving fast and there's a bar right outside the auditorium -- drinks were pretty cheap too! The one thing is if you need to go to the bathroom, you need to exit the Showroom and go out by the casino, so they'll have to put a big stamp on your hand. It's been years since I've seen a show in the Orleans Showroom. I forgot how small it is, not a bad seat in the house. We recently got tickets to see The Jersey Boys since they were having special pricing. We went for the Saturday matinee show. It was pretty empty, we noticed the ushers were pulling patrons from their seats and moving them to the front. Besides the Showroom seeming old and in need of updating, that was my only complaint. If I would have known I could have bought the cheap seats and got moved to more premium seats. The show was fantastic by the way, highly recommend seeing it. read more

We had seen Jersey Boys years ago and loved it. We saw there were lots of good seats available at the Orleans showroom on a Sunday night when we were free. You got to love going to the Orleans. Unlike strip and downtown hotels, free parking (including valet). Many places to grab a meal before the show with a variety of price ranges (think Subway all the way to Alder and Birch) The showroom is fairly small by broadway theater standards. Prices for a Broadway-quality show were "reasonable" (considering you are stuck paying the Ticketmaster add on even if you go to the box office). The only negative is you have to walk through a smokey casino to get to the showroom - not a big deal. read more

My family and I had a show to go to, the Peppa Pig show at the Orleans Hotel & Casino. The casino is located off of the I-15/Tropicana exit. We originally thought it was in the Orleans Arena, however, looking at the tickets, it had stated that the Peppa Pig Show was at the Orleans Showroom. We followed the signs from the Orleans Arena to the Orleans Showroom, which was on the other side of the casino. The Orleans Showroom is next to the Steakhouse at the Orleans Hotel & Casino. The Peppa Pig show had limited snack options such as a popcorn and a soda. There was also a small booth which had Peppa Pig themed toys! The showroom was relatively small, but there wasn't a bad seat in the showroom! We had seats centered in the middle of the showroom. It was nice and the sound system was great! There a cup-holders on the back of the seats. The team at the Orleans showroom were amazing as well! I saw a lot of the team members helping families out to their seats since the Orleans Showroom's numbering is unique with the same letters, but different rows. My family and I would visit the Orleans Showroom again for a future show or concert. read more

Show was suppose to open doors at 6:30, we ended up waiting over 1 hour and 30 minutes after. After they finally opened, employees were very rude. Was expecting so much better. The venue isn't nice, you have to wait in a smoke packed, dirty casino that everyone is cramped in. read more

Decent showroom with good sound however, their seats are pretty uncomfortable, and I found myself constantly shifting and adjusting during the show. Although we didn't get any drinks, we did notice their bar prices are pretty cheap with beers and cocktails costing only $8-12! read more

Located inside the Orleans Hotel, this is an older venue​, but smaller and ​more intimate space, making it a great place for live concerts. We enjoyed seeing the Ohio Players here last night. The Orleans Showroom shines for a couple of important reasons. Firstly, the space between seats in the aisles is so so large that just you don't need to get up at all or go into any strange body contortions so that people can merely get pass you. Usually,​ I cringe when I see a string of people getting ready to squeeze by me, but this isn't at all a problem here. You barely need to even move, literally. Secondly, the ushers are much more laid back and relaxed than at other venues where ushers get all worked up when you even pull out a camera. The guys here were super nice and polite! I usually prefer newer venues for concerts, but the Orleans Showroom proves that sometimes oldies can still be goodies. Yay to the Orleans Showroom! read more

It's not a huge fancy theater like the park mgm, zappos or caesars but it's relatively small and quite comfortable. Went there to see Three dog night (who are just as good as they used to be) and it was about and my knees didn't hurt or take 10 minutes to unlock which happens to me when I'm cramped in for long periods of time ( like airlines). My behind didn't hurt halfway through like some "arenas" and although not super cheap it wasn't as ridiculously expensive as most. Easier to get to and to get parking (free wow). read more

I k ow that this is an older venue, but hear me out. I went to see the Queens of Rock show that was there for a few nights and it was great! The sound, the musicians, the vocals and the spaciousness was great. I enjoyed a great show and had a comfortable space to enjoy it. I am going back to see the U2 cover band as soon as possible. I just wish they advertised and did more marketing so people know what a great little hidden gem this is. The bands that come through are also quality. Why isn't anyone in marketing for the Orleans doing this? read more

My most recent visit was on a Tuesday during NFR (rodeo) for live country music. There was no cover charge or ID check to enter. The dance floor was full while the band played, which inevitably entailed bumping into others. It was all partner dancing, including two-step and country swing. There was no line dancing while I was there. The drinks at the bar were reasonably priced compared to The Strip. A pint of draught 805, for example, was $8.50. read more

Loved this venue for checking off a bucket list item: seeing REO Speedwagon live. Since they never come to my city, I travelled to Vegas to see them. I bought the tickets online and I think I paid a couple of dollars for will call. A few days before the concert, I remembered the credit card I used to buy them I no longer had and they said this wouldn't be an issue (not the same story with Ticketmaster). Event day, we arrived at the box office and no issue with getting my tickets by providing my name. I can't recall if I had to show ID. Outside of the showroom, the merch table was set up. The also have plastic cups if you have a drink and want to bring it inside. That's a plus! We were standing near the entrance sign and the gentleman working asked if we had tickets. When I said yes, he asked to look at them to see where the seats were. Then he gave me a tip, he said as soon as the show starts run tot the front of the stage and stand there all night. This must happen for all shows and it's exactly what happened so as Jeff G says, don't go front row tickets unless you want people standing in front of you or you want to stand right in front of the stage. Inside the line up for the bar was getting busy close to show time. The seats are some of the best I've sat at for a concert in a smaller venue (and the bigger venues too). They are large and plush so I don't feel cramped. I could even get up and walk by others in my row without them standing. Most of the seats also have cup holders at the bottom of the seat in front. They say no photos or videos but they don't enforce it. Usher was great showing people to their seats too. I don't think there's any washrooms there so line ups after the show in the casino washrooms. Would definitely want to see another show here! read more

Well after attending my 30th+ concert here, I guess it is time for my review. It doesn't get any better than this Showroom. Comfortable seats, pretty good sound system, intimate with no bad seats ( view ) @ all. I always sit in section CC ( middle ) as close as possible. Just saw the FAB 4 again. They were Fabulous as always. Other concerts in the past : 3 Dog Night, Uncle Ted , 5th Dimension, Burton Cummings and numerous other gigs. Never had a bad or subpar experience @ this venue. I have been to the showroom at the Orleans Hotel and Casino probably 15 times. This 850 seat venue has theatre style seating as opposed to the classic Las Vegas showroom consisting of booths and tables. The staff at the theatre are always very helpful. Sight lines from anywhere are good although I prefer the three center sections BB, CC, or DD rather than stage right AA or stage left EE. There are cup holders attached to the seats in front of you, but it can be a bit of a reach as the legroom in the aisles in excellent. The showroom tends to have entertainment that appeals to the older crowd such as tonight which was a 90 minute show by the show business legend Mitzi Gaynor who at 80 years of age put on a great show. The lighting is well done, and I have never been here when there wasn't anything but the best sound levels with no microphone problems. read more

I've only seen one show here, but I would like to see more here now. The showroom isn't very big so I can't imagine there is a bad seat in the house. Getting here is easy. Since The Orleans is off strip it's easy to access the casino and this showroom. Parking was easy and abundant. There are plenty of signs within the casino to find the showroom. After the ticket counter there is a small hall with a bar to grab drinks and the entrance to the showroom is right there. Getting in and out of the theatre is so simple. It is a small showroom: capacity capped clearly at under 1000. It has a reasonably decent soundsystem. I always protect my priceless hearing with "true-to-the-ear" hearing plugs. The Orleans Showroom is a great venue. It's not overly huge so every seat in the house is great! The stage is pretty large considering the size of the theater. This gives the entertainer the ability to entertain directly with every section of the theater for an up close and personal act. I've seen a few shows here and the ushers have always been really great. Usually they are the older gentlemen working here but that's what they are ~ gentlemen! Courteous and helpful right out of a gentlemen's handbook. Seats seem a bit dated and needed a little TLC. But it wasn't anything too bad that I couldn't enjoy the show. "Do you want to see The Osmonds?" my husband asked. I knew the name should have invoked instant recognition, but it eluded me. I figured that even if they were a bunch of old geezers (like us!), it would probably be an okay show. And the tickets were free, thanks to LV House Seats. The showroom was nice, with comfy seats and drink holders. I appreciated being able to bring in our wine, poured into plastic cups by the ticket takers. And we got third row seats, not far off center. When the show started, out came three guys, backed by a 5-piece band. Two of them looked alike, and looked very familiar. The "D-oh" moment came when the family slide show started behind them while they were singing their first number. The Osmonds. As in Osmond Brothers. Think Donny and Marie! Oh, THOSE Osmonds. Slowly, the onion layers of my brain pulled away, and I did remember watching them on TV when I was a kid. The nine kids, seven of whom performed, all the time! They never were my cup of tea, and I had no recollection of the songs they sang during the show that were supposedly their big hits. What did I expect?? The hippie from Brooklyn (that would be me) wasn't exactly fan fodder for entertainers who ultimately performed in Branson, MO. Still, in my kinder, gentler middle age (give or take), they were entertaining and engaging. I guess the highlight of the show came at the end, when they introduced Donny, who was in the audience (we had much better seats!). He came onstage and joined his brothers for the last number. First time here I saw comedian Stephen Wright. Have always seen him on numerous HBO comedy specials over the years so seeing him live should be a treat. The theater itself has a nice cozy setting about it. I would say you can probably fit at least 500 attendees. The seats are comfortable and you have access to cup holders that's located on the back of the seats in front of you. The lighting and sound was pretty good but then again it was just for a standup comedy show. I have heard of numerous bands playing here like Air Supply and the The Temptations so I cannot comment on how the sound truly is until I see a band here. Some useful info. If you have your ticket already and stand in front of the showroom entrance long enough you just might have a promoter or two upgrade your tix for better ones since they usually hold some of the better tix for the high rollers which dont always show up. On this night, we got lucky for we were still waiting for two more people before going in to the showroom. One of the promoters noticed us just standing there so she offered us better tix since we had ours in hand already. The bathroom is to the right of the theater. You cant bring anything that's glass so they have plastic cups conveniently located on tables as you make your entrance. The box office is conveniently located to the left of the entrance. Also make sure this is where your show is supposed to be and not at the Orleans Arena. I made the mistake of making my way to the arena assuming that the show was there. Overall I had a great time. It is not fair that anyone can just go stand up in front of the stage and block the front rows' view. Why not buy the cheapest seats and then move up to the front? Not fair! Otherwise, this is a good venue, especially to see Don Rickles! If you go to a rock show be warned, do not waste your money on the first 5 rows. Seems like the fire marshal should come by and regulate this situation. The isles are also blocked, not safe. Again, none of this happens at Don Rickles and I wish he would come to a rock show to make fun of all the crazed baby boomers who rudely block the front rows. That would be hilarious. When I chatted with management about it, they said they didn't have enough security to handle the stage rushers and they agreed it is unfair. read more

The Orleans is an intimate, roomy, comfy venue for seeing live music. The sound for REO Speedwagon great and much louder than I expected. Who would've thought that REO Speedwagon could deafen someone? The view of the stage is good no matter where you're seated - unless you have front row seats, that is. Do not buy front row tickets for a show here. Or second, or third, fourth or fifth. The venue allows people to rush the stage blocking the view of those who paid for premium seats. That's not cool. I get that it's a rock show and people are excited and want to jump around and dance but the Orleans charges more money for upfront seats so it's total BS that they're letting people who pay for the cheap seats at the rear to stand up front. My wife and I had seats in the 20th row so we weren't affected by this policy but I empathize with the poor folks who thought they would have a great view upfront only to have the rug pulled out from beneath them. Judging by other reviews here this is a common occurrence at the Orleans Showroom. The staff are polite, efficient, and well-mannered. There is a bar just outside the showroom past the entrance which has a clumsy design but they stick an usher there to direct people in an orderly manner to get their drinks. The prices of the drinks are surprisingly low. I got a double rum and Coke for $6. The same drink cost me $22 at the Donny and Marie Showroom in the Flamingo. I'll definitely see shows here again. I just won't buy a ticket for upfront. read more

Small theater with great leg room! I wouldn't purchase tickets unless they were center seats any row, the theater is small enough that the back rows are still good seats but the seats to the left and right were terrible, you couldn't see the person on stage at all. My father has a bad knee and ususally is very uncomfortable with theater seats but as stated there is so much leg room here he wasn't bothered at all. The theater attendants are sweeties (especially Baron), and the bar is right there at the back of the theater so you can drink as much as you'd like without missing much of anything. read more

The Orleans Showroom is a nice venue where nearly every seat is a good one. The sound is great and the stage is pretty huge. I have seen a dozen shows there and staff for the most part are helpful. Most recent experience is folks coming from the back- the cheap seats and block views from the higher paying seats. Please don't sell $113 seats and let the folks from the $30 block the view. I get it- people like to get up and dance- a good song comes on and people get excited but Ushers please do your job. I asked the usher to ask people to go back to their seats because they were blocking the view. The Usher said "It sucks doesn't it?" Yes, sir, it sucks when you don't do your job. I saw a show at the "Orleans Showroom" at Las Vegas, NV on 10/6/2012. It was my first time at the "Orleans". The show featured the legendary Don Rickles. I paid $110.00 for the ticket and wondered if it would be worth it --- it was. After a wonderful opening act singer, Don Rickles came out and did the types of jokes that he is famous for. This is a pretty nice place to see a performance. The place holds under a 1,000 people and most of the seats have a very good view. The sound was just right and not too loud. I would not hesitate coming here again. They get some decent performers at good prices. The showroom staff is very friendly and easy to deal with. I saw Don Rickles there. He was great, amazing timing. You knew the lines were coming but he made them funny every time. The theater is very nice. We sat far left (stage right) and could see and hear perfectly. My suggestion, though, would be not to sit on the side like we did. We saw Rickles fine but the piano player's back was to us the whole show and the orchestra was on the other side of the stage. Because of this the opening act singer stayed on the other side of the stage so that the music would be behind him. As for Rickles, he couldn't really make it to our side of the stage. read more

The Orleans is great. And durinf Viva Las Vegas, we spend A LOT of time in the showroom. Fashion shows, showcases, and burlesque shows all weekend. Very nice, old feel to it. There is a bar in the back, which is great because you can drink a ton during your show. The people working the showroom are really nice. The theater is small, which I enjoy because it means that no seat is a bad seat. Can't wait for the next VLV! read more

You Have to see Dana Carvey here! It's like being back in LA at The Comedy Store... Very personal and engaging vibe. It's a great venue for comedy. Dana rocks it and kills his SNL routines ... He's definitely not a disappointment to meet like some others are. He's genuine. Just don't sit in the front row ... Standard Comedy Store Rules apply ... You'll be the center of a few jokes. We went to see the Tempations at the Orleans Showroom. We were all excited until the announcer came out. He was screaming over the band and that was the way it was the rest of the night. The singers (only one original) had to strain and practically scream over the band the entire evening. I don't know if it was the sound system or a coverup for singers who can't sing but I wish I could have had my money back. Terrible show. read more

If you are in a seat at the outer rim, you might have to turn your neck a bit to see the stage, so if you have neck problems. make sure you are in one of the 3 center sections. The sound system is good and the temperature is too. We have been to 5 shows here so far and each has been a good experience. You can bring in outside drinks, but they must be in a plastic container. There are plastic cups set up outside the showroom for you to transfer your liquids from a glass container. The ushers are friendly. read more
