I was fortunate to see two shows in too different evening. The first show was a tribute to Michael Jackson and the second, Legends in Concert. Tribute to Cher, Adele, and Whitney Houston. I'll start off with the MJ show: What an entertainment for someone to imitate and sing the songs of Michael Jackson. The dancing along will make you get out of your seats and start dancing. What an entertainer and most of all, The talent. My favorite was the Song, Beat It. To all the dancers and the lighting and most of the dancing. Great Act! A must see if your in Vegas. All seats throughout this theater are good. Don't really need to spend over a $100 per person. The second evening was the Tribute to Cher, Adele, and Whitney Houston. My favorite was the singing by Cher. Each performer sang about 3 songs each, a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes for the entire show, also a very entertaining show! A must see. Shop around on the Vegas Strip, they offer good deals on the tickets, not only for this show, but for all events. Enjoy!!!!!!! read more

SURPRISE!!! This show is awesome! Smiled from ear to ear the whole time. Had no idea I would enjoy this performance so much. I'm not even a very big Elvis fan. The musicians are talented and the vocals of all three Elvis impersonators were on point. You have to understand going into this, it's a tribute to Elvis, not a mascaraed, and let me tell you, the artists delivered. They worked the crowd, and made it fun. I should mention that my experience was on a Monday night so the crowd was on the smaller side, but the performers didn't hold back and gave a Saturday night performance. If you're a cynic and enjoy finding all the flaws this probably isn't for you, but if you're fun loving and light of heart you gotta watch this. Sure you can pay wads of cash to see present day pop artists parade on stage with a great big production of lights and noise, but that's not the full Las Vegas experience. The Legends Elvis tribute has all the glitz and just enough grit to remind you that the artists are real people who actually enjoy entertaining a crowd and they transport you back to Vegas of old days. One of the most long running show in Vegas that seems to never disappoint! Using some freebies to see the show, I was hoping for the usual array of musical icons. Instead it was Divas Night where they basically highlighted Cher, Lady Gaga, Celine, and a couple of others. Though initially disappointed, it was nice to see Frank Marino doing the emcee for the show! For those who wouldn't know, Frank is legendary in this town for being the original female impersonator long before RuPaul became famous. The show was well done, but perhaps not as good as the regular cast of impersonators, but certainly entertaining to say the least. The fact that is held in the Tropicana theater, legendary in it's own right, that makes it worth attending before the hotel is gone to the way of progress! read more

We were really disappointed with seating. They tell you show up early and you can select your seats. We bought VIP orchestra which she recommended but then we got there early and Carla the Matri'D tells you can't have the booths we have groups coming. That seems dishonest and should change. This is a great show. I've seen this twice with different performers. The first time it was with MJ, Elvis, Sinatra, and Cher. They were all fantastic and my poor husband actually got picked to go on stage and do "I Got You Babe" with Cher. He was a good sport. The second time it was young MJ, Elvis, Aretha, and Sting. Once again the performances were spot on, especially that young Michael. Of course I can personally never get enough of Michael Jackson impersonators but that's just me. This format works well because you get a nice assortment of artists in a good span of time. So if you're not a fan of a particular artist, no worries as it won't be too long before the next one. They also only have time to perform their biggest hits so no "deep cuts" here. I recommend you check the schedule of who is performing before hand anyway just so you know what to expect. If you only like 1 of the 4 you might be better off seeing show devoted to that individual. They usually have a nice assortment to please a variety of tastes. read more

I felt a little awkward to be that close to the performers as I clapped and swayed my body...off beat lol...and as l sang along...out of tune...but hey dance like nobody's watching and sing like nobody's listening . The host was hilarious. The dancers were full of energy and always kept a smile on their faces. The singers were very talented and I could've sworn that was the real Cher up there...the makeup was on-point! Shout out to the backup singers and band! Would not go back again - I've never met a conservative drag queen but this one does exist in Las Vegas. I don't need to hear anti-Biden jokes during my fun vacation in Las Vegas. I'm also confused about a drag queen host that meets all female singers. The theme just seems a little strange to me. The best performer was Adele, she had the best voice and performance act. I would refresh the Gaga character -just seemed too cheesy. Oddly enough I left after hearing such un-funny jokes from the drag queen - a first for me. read more

So to get a blow kiss from Freddie Mercury, serenaded and a hip swivel from George Michael and a Crocodile Rock sing along shout out from Elton John? My life is now complete. Fantastic time, the staff members were great. They sat me right up front and were so nice about it. The show is so much fun, especially if you are a fan of 80s music. Check it out. Tickets are VIP if you want a booth, Preferred for a table or a seat up closer, and then general which I think they call Mezzanine. To be honest every seat seemed great. There are lots of discounts online and around to help you out too. Frank Marino is a very good Joan Rivers, not Crawford, lol imitator. I got to see Joan when I was a guest on the Regis show years back and Frank is spot on. All three of the singing performers are talented and wonderful. I wish the show was longer with more singing and music and a few more performers. I loved all the costumes. I was in awe of Joan's gowns, wow! The sparkle hurt my eyes. And those shoes? How does he walk in them? It is not that bad of a price to see a show with a discount and it is really fun to escape life for a short while. Extra Vegas tips------A lot of things are still closed in Vegas so eat somewhere else if you eat early. A lot of the eateries are still closed in the Tropicana and other nearby hotels. NY NY seems to have the most places open but with that comes heavy traffic. Masks are mandated in Vegas and most wore them but you know how that goes, so be safe. Also, the Tropicana Chill Bar's staff is amazing. The bar is cool! (pun intended) Also, the Chocolate Bar at NY, NY is delish for an amazing Chocolate Martini. Enjoy! read more

We seen the show on June 1st and this experience is amazing! My daughter has become the littlest biggest Michael jackson fan so when we booked our trip to Las Vegas, I knew we had to bring her to the show and she absolutely loved it. Jalles and the dancers put on an electric show. He was funny and very engaging with the audience. He played some of the greatest hits and busted out with some iconic MJ moves. My daughter was sooo happy, she even rushed up on stage! Jalles welcomed her and sang to her. she was start struck for sure. At the end of the show, he even gave her "thee glove". Frank Marino serves as the host as Joan Rivers until November 19th when he will be retiring the Joan Rivers character from his act. Frank Marino is a great performer using a variety of elegant costumes that change with the introduction of each performer while including some adult humor. This is another long running Las Vegas show that should not be missed. We had great general admission seats in the center section row seven which provided excellent viewing of the stage. read more

Since Jeff Civillio cancelled his show for the rest of the year, I got these free tix to 'Legends In Concert.' (Box Office at Flamingo to me, another story 0 stars) The Flamingo showroom is still OLD & musty. No cocktail waitress just a hidden tiny bar in the far right corner. All drinks, including wine, served in plastic cups. $11 for wine & $14 for mixed drinks. Once you walk in, they take a show pic of you in front of a backdrop. $30 for one pic!! Seriously? You cannot use your Total Rewards points or a comp either. No drinks allowed in, but a lady brought her wine in from the slots, & in a glass. I advise to try that first. FIVE STARS for the fantabulous talent! Wow! 'Garth Brooks' honestly finished what I needed to hear from the lame show that I went to w/ the real Garth Brooks at the Wynn theater. The real Garth didn't even sing 'Thunder Rolls' but this impersonator sings it exact! 'Tina Turner' worked the stage in these super high heels & sounded just like Tina. She was interactive w/ the crowd & very funny! 'Michael Jackson' danced like no other! I mean he didn't totally look like MJ, but he spoke to the audience the same, flirted the same & really put on a show! 'Thriller' was thrilling!! Besides the fact that it's around Halloween, which sets the mood, the zombies were out in the crowd walking. MJ & the dancers did Thriller so well! I love all of their costumes too! MJ then said soon my 'ex father n law, Elvis' will be out LOL! Great personalities. Totally a five star performance. Funniest & greatest parts were when 'Elvis' was singing & giving his scarves away, then kissing three woman in the front. My mouth dropped, but it was all in good humor. I love that at the end they paid tribute to the Vietnam Veterans & 'America' was a song picked via their website. In the beginning of the evening, they ask you to send a special request for Elvis to sing on LegendsInConcert.com. Pretty unique. 5 STAR PERFORMANCE & PERFORMERS! Flamingo gets one star. Hey, step your game up for these awesome performers & employees. There was money to be made on drink orders. Everyone was waiting, kind of lost on whether they should've brought one, was there a waitress & where was the bar. Four people asked me if there was a waitress. Legends is always a fantastic show, no matter who is starring that night! Tonight we started off with the new act - Bob Marley! I forgot how much I love Bob Marley, I had the Legend CD in college - every song was terrific! I just wish I was "smoking two joints" to truly have an authentic experience. Then we had Johnny Cash, and he not only looked just like him but also sang perfectly. Michael Jackson, always a great time and a really good dancer especially. Followed by a fairly new act John Bon Jovi who also sang a bunch of hits. But the real star of the evening was Tina Turner - she was incredible! Tons of energy, great dancing, vocals were perfect!! The back up dancers and singers did a very professional job and kept us entertained between acts. It was fun to see how fast they could do their costume changes. The black spiraling mirrored boxes on stage looked a little low tech and like some high school musical stagehands put them together. (not THE High School Musical, but a non-famous, public school, type of high school musical) We also had the Total Rewards deal of BOGO tickets which made the evening extra sweet. read more

Legends in Concert is a Las Vegas show where you can suspend disbelief for over an hour. The unbelievably talented impersonators look identical to the legends. Their mannerisms and voices are also identical to the legends. When I saw Legends in Concert while suspending disbelief in the house were the Blues Brothers, Lady Gaga, Elvis Presley, and Prince. I am familiar with Legends. This familiarity goes back to the summer of 1996 when I saw Legends in the Imperial Palace. When Legends played here, it was old school Las Vegas all the way. The inexpensive tickets were inexpensive and included an adult beverage. I'd see Legends a few more times at Imperial Palace. When I first started seeing Legends the show got major publicity when the real and impersonator Kenny Rogers were standing side by side and people mistook the impersonator for the real legend. Around this time there was a documentary on how tough it is to become a Legend impersonator. Anyways the show moved to Harrah's for awhile then recently to The Donnie & Marie Showroom at the Flamingo. It was in this showroom that we would see Legends in Concert on June 2. In familiar style to many of the Las Vegas shows that we have seen, we stopped at Tix 4 Tonight. I highly recommend them for show discounts. We landed front row seats to the 9:30 PM show. The nice thing about seeing a show in the Donnie & Marie theatre is that it is intimate. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. It is an intimate theatre with the touch of Old Las Vegas. It seems like the Flamingo never touched it since Bugsy Seagal was around. This intimate theatre is really a historical landmark. The old Las Vegas permeates through the booth tables throughout the place. After sitting in the front row and sharing my pictures below the Review, I assert that the show was hyper-realistic. In similar style to the previous Legends shows that I have seen there were four sets plus the ending where all the Legends perform. Tonight I saw the Blues Brothers, Prince, Lady Gaga, and Elvis Presley. The Blues Brothers started off in the Master of Ceremony role and reappeared after Prince. The Blues Brothers looked so much like John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd that it was scary. They rocked out "Soul Man" a Contours song, and the jokes. They could easily branch off from Legends and headline their own show. They also did a good job interacting with the audience. A few weeks after Prince sadly passed away, it was nice to feel like I was seeing him live. The songs included "Purple Rain," "I Would Die for You, " and" 1999." There were a couple of costume changes. My only critique is that he did not play lead guitar in "Purple Rain" like Prince did. I never really caught Lady Gaga's act. However, her impersonator put on a great act. Lady Gaga interacted with the audience explaining how she is a legend in the making. The set included two costume changes and the songs "Poker Face" and "Imagine." Without fail, the King of Rock & Roll was in the building. He came on at the end. The Elvis sets included the leather jacket worn in the 1968 Comeback Special and the white jumpsuit of the "Aloha from Hawaii Satellite Special. The songs included "Suspicious Minds," "Hound Dog," "Jailhouse Rock," and "Can't Help Falling in Love." Elvis interacted with the audience when he joked about his latest hit that was out fifty years ago and placing a scarf on a starstruck women in the audience. When the show concluded the Legends did not leave the building. The unusual ending to the show is that it continued outside the showroom where the Legends posed for pictures and signed autographs. read more

I had a comp ticket for the show last night. It's in the Donny and Marie Theatre. The line to get in was very long, but it moved along quickly. You stop at the obligatory tourist photo area (I politely declined and I got through without having to pose for a goofy photo I wouldn't buy anyway). Once to the podium in the theatre, an usher asked if I was alone. When I answered yes, he said, "Walk this way." No he really didn't but Marty Feldman did. The usher took me to the front row by the stage stairs. He took out a felt marker and initialed my ticket and told me to enjoy the show. Score! I stopped to see him on the way out. The show began promptly at 9:30 and what followed was a 75 minute show that featured 4 impersonators of famous entertainers. First up was Cher. The woman who did this was very good, the best of the four this evening. When she opened with Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves she had me from the get go. Then Half Breed. Hell, I was in heaven by now. She not only sounded good, she looked the part, too! There was audience participation on stage for one poor guy who was a good sport and had fun clowning and singing with her. I'm glad I don't fit the stereotype she might be looking for to join her on stage. Besides, I do my scowl well. It's been practiced enough! Next up was the Michael Jackson impersonator. He was just OK. His dance and body moves were much better than his vocal impersonation. The two better numbers he did were Thriller and Billie Jean. Next up was the Tina Turner impersonator. She was the weakest in the lineup last night. I don't think she sounded like Turner at all. She mangled Proud Mary as far as I was concerned. I was glad when her numbers were over. Last came Elvis. I guess an impersonator show in Las Vegas wouldn't be complete without the King! This guy was OK. However, we have so many Elvis impersonators in Las Vegas that many of them would outshine this guy. He did a credible job but he really had a baby face. He redeemed himself somewhat in the finale when he did Viva Las Vegas. How can I knock him too much? The back up singers and dancers were good. The choreography could be better. It looks perfunctory at times, The three dressed in showgirl outfits with head dresses for the Viva Las Vegas number were top notch. Backing up the group was a 5 piece band that had a great sound. They played well and it made the vocals better. All in all, not a bad show and a nice diversion for a tourist who wants to leave the tables or machines for a break. read more

My friends and I went to Vegas for my birthday and wanted to check out a show. We decided on this one because of the unique line up and aesthetic compared to the other shows. The show was amazing! The performers were spot on and even though we were a little unaware of Rod Stewart (not our generation), the overall performance and spectacle made up for not knowing the songs. Every performer added a different style and energy to the overall show. Joan was a great comedy act, We didn't want to miss a moment with Tina, Rod Stewart was a great ensemble act, and Elvis, well it's Elvis, you can't leave Vegas without getting a glimpse of the King in action! I highly recommend this show, and especially the front since they will bring drinks to you while you get to continue enjoying the show! read more

Love love love this show! Ok so I'm not big on impersonators but this one is the best I've seen. The cast of characters isn't always the same. But I was so happy with this show that I want to see all of them!!! We sat in the first set of booths towards the stage. First off if you pick booth seating there are 6 seats to each booth and they do sell the other seats. So it was a bit awkward sitting with two other couples. But our seats were really good. This performance had Michael Jackson was so good! Barry White also so good! Steven Tyler almost dead on in looks and singing! Britney Spears who sucked!!! She was so stiff and sounded terrible but she looked good except this girl had no sex appeal and Britney Spears is all about sex appeal. Then came Elvis, so good!!! Amazing!!! I would say best Elvis I've seen. All of the impersonators sing live and dance. There is a part in the show where Elvis sits on stage and takes requests so every show is different. But do not request viva Las Vegas! Any song but that one! At the end there is a meet and greet in front. Oh and when walking in they take your picture and you can get it after the show. Fun concert. Family friendly. Theater is small enough that there are really no bad seats...although I do not think I would want to sit right up front and actually saw several people in the front seats ask if they could move back to empty chairs further away. The place is pretty intimate so no need to splurge on seating. Also we were allowed to bring our drinks in but paid for some for the kids... $5+ a pop for a cup of soda. You can take video during and photos with the cast afterwards. We saw Prince, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. I thought that all did a great job and both looked and sounded the part. We would defiantly come again to see a different line up when it changes and would recommend this show to friends. Check out my short videos. Legends In Concert. I went to see the show Legends in Concert tonight and Holy Toledo has it changed! It was always great but the producers have somehow taken an already tried, true and proven formula for a hit show and have somehow made it even better. First of all, Vegas' longest running headliner, gorgeous female impersonator, Frank Marino is now hosting the show and bringing the glamour, the gorgeous Bob Mackie gowns and the comedy to the mix, giving the show a racy and spicy flair it didn't have before. Legends has also added a huge missing element from Vegas as of late, the beautiful authentic Las Vegas Showgirls in the beautiful head pieces, G strings and costumes thus bringing yet another new ''WOW" factor to the show. These showgirls/dancers dazzle with their crystal laden bodices, (and in classic Vegas style ) larger than life sparkling headpieces providing eye candy for all who appreciate beautiful women and sexy costumes. So now we have something for the LGBTQ community AND something for the men and women who are lovers of classic Vegas style entertainment to go along with the fantastic stars of the show, the all live singing Impersonators. Went on Sunday night, last show before closing down. Staff seated people appropriately leaving empty seat between guests. Entertainment was top notch but I was thinking there would be more performers doing just 1-2 songs rather than just 3 who did several songs. Went with family and friends to watch the show last night and I was blown away. The entire production - lighting, sound, dancers, singers - exceeded my expectations. Everyone in the show is very talented, but my favorite performer was Fernando Castro who portrayed the iconic Freddie Mercury of Queen. His vocal range, look, and personification of Freddie was spot on! Very impressed. Can't wait to go back to Vegas to watch the show again. Will definitely tell all my friends who love Queen to check out this show! read more

Quite a fun show! Frank Marino was awesome as Joan Rivers...my least favorite was Freddie Mercury, as the real Freddie was not as subdued on stage. Great voice though. Pat Benatar was unexpected, but voice was great. Lady Gaga was spot on and how can you go wrong with Elvis? Of course he is not going to look like him, but the voice was great. read more

The show was ok but nothing to write home about. I had a Groupon so I was glad I didn't pay full price. It's definitely not worth the regular price. The theater was barely a third full. Our Groupon tickets were in the mezzanine section in the back but we got moved up to closer seats. The dancers were good and I enjoyed the Elvis, Lady Gaga and Frank Sinatra performers. Unfortunately the Whitney Houston impersonator missed the mark and I was really disappointed. Maybe it was just an off night. There just wasn't anything special. Again not terrible but just nothing engaging. People were singing along but when the entertainers were trying to engage with the audience it just fell flat.
