I didnot receive that care this Monday morning, I was told to go to the emergency Vet, even though they know I'm on a fixed income & can't afford it. My dog is 17 & has a UTI, I thought when your vet is open for business you can go there... It wasn't the office staff who refused it was the Vet her self. My dog has been pretty healthy all her life until here lately, & now the Vet I've been using for years won't see her...I feel abandoned. I took her to another vet, they agreed to see her at 2:15 today. I just got a new Dr. for Izzy. Maybe they will be there for me & my dog in the future.

He is no longer the owner but still works there, however visits are much more expensive and procedures like cryo surgery (Freezing)to remove 9 eraser and smaller sized warts, without anesthesia cost was exorbitantly high at 697.17. I had shaved areas around each wart prior to surgery. In total 12 areas. They had only 2 canisters of nitrogen and could not complete the removal and was told to come back for the remaining 3 for an additional fee. I called their parent office in Greer to complain about the price and service. A week b4 I took my dog in to get a quote for removal. Instead a new vet did a physical exam and said he did not remove warts! (Unusual because Dr. Pursley had managed wart removal when he owned the business at half the price.) I was charged for that visit even though I communicated specifically it was for wart removal. Instead he told me to rub a little antibiotic cream should the dog scratch and burst the growth. I was gobsmacked! Walking out of that exam I caught Dr. Pursley in the hallway that day and he said he could remove them, hence the cryosurgery today. In conclusion Farewell's Adminstrator called me back to fire me as a customer. I was not rude or loud in the office nor on the phone expressing my disappointment in the procedure today. Unfortunately, after many good years at Barkingham Palace they told me to find another vet. I have owned 5 Pedigreed ACS's in 33 years all living 15 to 16 years. Truthfully, I have never been so rudely treated by any vet prior to today.

For the first two years of her life, we went to a different vet where we never felt a real connection. The staff seemed scared of our dog, and visits were always stressful for everyone involved. When we adopted two kittens, we decided to give Paw Prints a try because of the great reviews and their close location. From the very first visit, we knew this place was different. Our dog was incredibly anxious and wouldn't let Dr. Crowe or his staff touch her. But instead of rushing the appointment or showing frustration, Dr. Crowe sat on the floor with her for over 30 minutes, patiently working to earn her trust. That level of compassion and patience meant the world to us. Rather than jumping to sedatives (as our previous vet did), Dr. Crowe recommended the CHILL Protocol. I'll admit--I was skeptical. But today, after following the protocol, we brought our pup back in... and she was like a different dog. She was still a little nervous, but she didn't need a muzzle, didn't hide, didn't bark incessantly. She even let the vet tech give her a shot without reacting--and when Dr. Crowe came in, she barked once, then went right up to him for pets and love. This visit felt like a breakthrough. I'm not sure if it was the protocol, the incredible staff, or both, but it was night and day compared to our past experiences. We've officially moved all three of our cats and our dog to Paw Prints, and we couldn't be happier. It feels amazing to know our pets are in such good hands. Not the one ANY pet owner wants to hear, ever, but their empathy and kindness was truly genuine. They were quick to tend to my sweet girl, and didn't drag out the painful process. My husband went out to see how much longer it would be and was told another appointment before us was 30 mins late, and it would be another half an hour plus a half an hour after meeting with the vet tech. What in the????? Communication was great on phone calls, but this was a miss. We left and will not be going back. It's one thing to be told that at the beginning of the appointment to set expectations, but wasting people's time in the middle of a work day. No thanks. That still does not take away from no one coming into our room. That is not professional in my opinion.
