I am here with my mom who had disc surgery. Her physician, who works in an office about 25 miles away, recommended this facility for her to have the surgery done. From arrival in the waiting room this morning with a quiet, spacious waiting area... to the unbelievably friendly staff, I don't think I've ever felt at ease in a hospital the way I did today. Every team member who came by and visited with my mom pre-op was wonderful. They were sharp, attentive, and most of all, friendly. They knew what they were doing, but also managed to combine that with a human touch. It's a great feeling to know that you're not just a number or a barcode -- you're a human. I have to a give a special shout-out to my mom's post-op nurse, Sandra. She was incredibly smart, but also really funny. She very carefully monitored my mom and managed to lift her spirits at the same time. I want Sandra as my nurse! This isn't your everyday hospital, so chances are, you won't be coming here anytime soon. But if you are coming here, and you're curious enough to come on Yelp, know that this place is top-notch.

Dr. Albritton focuses on general medicine, women's health and medical management for weight loss. She has seen my parents through cancer, numerous elderly issues and now dementia. It was not lunchtime. The call went straight to voicemail. I called again several times, waiting several minutes between each call, and the same thing happened. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the doctor and had to go to Urgent Care. I had actually wanted to make Dr. Albritton my PCP from a while back, due to the positive reviews of the doctor herself. I was in the process of officially making her my PCP with my insurance when this happened. How incompetent can this staff be? No matter how superb of a provider Dr. Tiffany Albritton is, she is destroyed by the sheer nonexistence of her staff. If they do exist, they should be replaced with staff members who actually pick up the phone during business hours. If they don't exist at a certain point, fine. But for them to be absent for the whole duration of the period I incessantly called? I don't understand why any doctor would want to surround herself by staff that do nothing but bring her and her image down and create an aura of frustration and disappointment among her patients.

I found Dr. Odetunde online and called for an appointment. The secretary wasn't the friendliest, but she was still definitely nice. To my surprise, Dr. Odetunde was available for basically any time slot I wanted. At first, this worried me a little bit. After all, shouldn't a good doctor have a lot of other patients to see? I chalked it up as luck and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The office is located right off of 610, just west of the Bennigan's and Ford dealership (right around Fannin I think?), in one of those huge office buildings. I didn't wait long at all, and Dr. Odetunde ended up being one of the nicest doctors I've ever met. She immediately figured out my problem (spasms) and sent me off with a couple of prescriptions and an x-ray order. After this visit, I saw her again for some sleeping problems and some injuries I got in a car accident. She remembers her patients and is very knowledgeable. I recommend her to anyone :) Now that I'm living in Ft. Worth, I miss having her as my doctor, even though I only saw her for a couple of months!
