Back in January 2019, I officially picked up my aligners and began to be seen by Dr. Khang. For the last 1.75 years, he has been watching over my invisalign journey, answering my questions in-person and over email, and just making sure I'm happy with the progress/results. Today I scanned for retainers after 4 refinement rounds, so you bet I'm very happy with my teeth! (Thank you Dr. Khang and the rest of the Orthoworks team!) So if you're looking to do Invisalign, I HIGHLY recommend going here. I never had braces before, but they made my invisalign journey smooth sailing! I chose to go here not only because of the price, but their experience and the doctors and staff are SO friendly! This review is long overdue. I started treatment for metal braces pre-pandemic a couple of years ago. I've tried another location and this location by far is the best. I drive 45+ minutes to receive the service and care from the staff here. Scheduling appointments with T is so easy. She is definitely very welcoming and so sweet. Then there is Shandy-she is so AMAZING! Im sure with the amount of experience she has she makes my visits so painless. From removing the bands to adjusting my wire and to top it off she makes sure to ask if there's any poking or adjustments I feel I need before leaving. So with all the positive experiences I have with the staff here I've referred a few family members as well. Definitely need to give this location a try! I started Invisalign treatment with OrthoWorks in February of 2020, just before the time pandemic restrictions started to affect business operations in general. I am very fortunate and thankful to have received Invisalign from this office - the quality of service and commitment for my treatment was amazing despite heavily modified procedures. Flexibility and convenience during an 18-month long treatment during the pandemic is not something any orthodontist can pull off. I really want to thank Thy and Dr. Khang for their support and kindness every step along the way in my treatment. From the moment I set foot in this office, I knew I had made the right choice in finding a transparent, effective, fantastic provider for Invisalign and other orthodontic work. You can get Invisalign anywhere, but cannot get wonderful service except for here. I wanted to give some time to go really see the "bang for my buck" and YES I am happier day by day with the results I am seeing. I was told by many other ortho places that I could not be a candidate for Invisialign. Those people were wrong! Orthoworks, or shall I say, Dr. Lee, Shandi, and Thy have changed that point of view! Started my invisalign journey Dec 2019. I did a lot of different consultations with a lot of different companies. When I came to Orthoworks everyone was so friendly and inviting. They explained the process very thoroughly and made sure I understood everything. I started the entire invisalign process in Jan 2020 and I just finished Jan 2021. The process went really well. Thy, the patient advisor was super friendly and made sure that everyone felt welcomed. Dr. Khang is an awesome doctor and helped me understand the entire process while letting me know what is going on at each step. Anh and Shandy was so helpful throughout the process and you can tell they are smiling even when there was masks on. I started my treatment in the beginning of 2020, after looking around for quite a bit for a place that could take care of my braces, I was extremely satisfied with Orthoworks. Everything from the beginning was very easy, setting up the consultation, going in for the consultation, and the actual process of putting of the braces. The staff members are so friendly and professional. You can tell they're experienced from the start. When I went into Orthoworks for my consultation, Thy and Dr. Khang helped me out, they thoroughly explained each payment plan, and gave me the treatment options which included braces, invisalign, etc. They really made sure I knew what I was paying for and what I was about to get for my teeth. The actual process of putting on the braces was a pleasant and easy experience. It was much faster than I anticipated and there was literally no pain at all! The orthodontist assistants, Shandy and Anh make every experience a great one. You can tell that the staff here really cares, they always asks great questions to make sure you're comfortable during the process and we have made some great conversations! Dr.Khang has been wonderful with taking care of my teeth, with every check-up he's been friendly and fast. He is extremely helpful when it comes to answering any questions you might have about the progress, results, any general questions you might have about the braces. I started my treatment at this San Jose office back in August 2019 and looking back in old photos, I couldn't be more happy with the outcome thus far. They have an online portal where you can view/confirm upcoming appointments, as well as view past/upcoming payments. The staff here is amazing and very friendly. They have been very understanding of my missed appointments during these past COVID disruptions which was really considerate, thanks to Thy. Shandy was very nice and always made sure I'm all set before I leave the office. Would highly recommend this place! I remember the first day I came to this OrthoWorks after being transferred here because I go to SJ State. (I'm from SF) I was instantly greeted with a warm welcome and smiles from Thy which made me feel all fuzzy inside. I went in as a naive seventeen year old boy, month after month, wondering when I would take my braces off. It wasn't a hassle though, because Shandy and Dr. Khang were so dang nice I was like, "There is definitely hope for the world.." They were always gentle with my mouth and they would ALWAYS strike up a conversation to ease the tension and make things not awkward. This is key for social interactions, folks. Also, they always had these movies playing on the ceiling while you're laying down and it just feels so... magical. I'm not gonna lie, I've eaten crunchy foods and broken some of my bands.. sometimes... but they were all fixed! FOR FREE! I know, amazing right? Plus Shandy and Dr. Khang get things done with a swiftness! And finally, today, Monday, January 6th, 2020, I finally got my braces off. I am now a man, 20 years of age. I usually go to the Sunnyvale location but I go to the San Jose location sometimes depending on my schedule. That's the best part about Orthoworks, they are so accommodating with my schedule and the doctors are able to pick up where the last doctor left off, which is awesome! The San Jose office is very clean and there is plenty of parking. Whenever I have any questions regarding my Invisalign treatment or financials the front desk staff are very quick and knowledgeable and address all of my concerns. This is a long overdue review for Dr. Nguyen and her staffs. I was recommended by my friend 2 years ago to go and see Invisalign about my braces. I came in and met with Dr. Nguyen for consultation. The staffs are extremely nice and helpful. After the consultation, I decided to go with Invisalign treatment and I am so far very happy with the result. The big movements happened within the first 8-10 months. After that, my teeth were so much more straight already. The next 1 year was just for fixing small little things and I did not mind at all. Most of the big visible buttons were removed after the first 8-10 months anyway, and Invisalign gives you flexibility too. So whenever I needed to go out, I just took the liners out for 2-3 hours and I already looked like I had perfect straight teeth already. Dr. Nguyen listened to your concerns and advised you what to do next. She is extremely attentive, patient (I'm such a drama queen FYI), and caring. I'm 95% happy with my teeth already, just some small little things that I don't mind too much, but Dr. Nguyen said "Let's make them right" so I'm gonna another short round of liners, but by the time I'm done, it is still way less than 2 years. I recommended this place to my friend who lived in Milpitas too. She is going to Dr. David Shen there and so far seems to be happy with her result too :) Strongly recommend Dr. Shen, Dr. Nguyen and their staffs. read more
