So during 'shelter in place' mandate my original dentist was closed so I was searching desperately for a dentist who'll take walk in/new patient yet alone open. My molar was hurting and I have been struggling w a throbbing headache since the day before. I called K&T Dental and they have set me up w a same day appointment 3 hours later! As I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly gentleman. It turned out he was the actual dentist. Soon after, I was helped by another staff member (I believe her name is Kim?). Both of them, made the New Patient application a breeze. After Xrays, it turned out that my tooth with the crown was the reason for my pain. At first, Dr. Tran suggested for me to see an endodontist in order to do a root canal on my tooth that had a crown. However, I didnt want to save the crown (crown was done by Gabucan Milpitas and did not do a very good job on it. Cement was showing and I was unhappy w their work) so we went ahead and did a root canal as well as a new crown. So this is the first time I had a root canal done. And let me tell you, it went by really quickly. Both Dr. Tran and Kim were thorough, efficient, cleanly, and gentle. (In other words, not once did I feel like choking or gagging on my own spit. Lol) I've had my fair share of dentists and I was shocked at the exceptional service that this team provided. Dr. Tran knows exactly what he's doing. If you listen to his comments, you can tell that his work is precise and done with confidence. You'll know exactly what he's doing. (Think of it like a surgeon conducting a top-notch procedure.) Not once, was I hesitant nor scared during my root canal. He makes you feel at ease/ comfortable throughout the whole procedure. I dont normally write lengthy reviews. But I was blown away by K&T Dental's professionalism and exceptional service. Not to mention, modern dental equipment and clean atmosphere. Also, dont be fooled by his youth; In my opinion, his work is way better than all the other 'veteran' dentists out there. I am happy to have found a new dentist. If you're looking to switch, I'd definitely recommend K&T Dental. But dont take my word for it, try this place out yourself. read more

Absolutely trust and love them! I was looking for a new dentist as I moved from Canada. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Tran! He is so attentive and patient when I ask so many questions (nervous patient). Even during the exam/procedure he will continue to answer all my questions and check in and make sure I'm comfortable (physically and mentally). Also, his front desk staff is incredibly friendly! She is such a pleasure to speak to when booking appointments and when I ask questions about my insurance. Bonus point: Dr. Tran is amazing at giving needles. I would trust these doctors with my life!! I had a root canal scheduled at my regular dentist 2 weeks out but I was in so much pain that I needed to get it done asap. I found K&T Dental through yelp and they were able to get me in for a consultation and root canal the following 2 days. The process was really smooth and the doctor was able to finish in under an hour! He was consistently checking in and making sure I was comfortable. I knew I was in good hands when I told them I was feeling a little pain and they dropped everything immediately and give me some more anesthesia. I came to K&T Dental for general annual checkup and cleaning. The staffs and dentist are very welcoming and friendly; like family. I like how Dr. Tran noticed my dried lips and applied vaseline to keep from bleeding. Dr. Tran also let me watch Master Chef since I told him I like food. I got referred to this place by a coworker who said that this place was very professional, but it was clear this wasn't the case. They scheduled my son on Thursday at 4:30, but they never texted us to confirm the appointment, so when we arrived, they were behind and we had to leave. I would not recommend this place. I just got a text from the KT Dental, apparently they canceled my son's appointment because of MY TEXT to cancel my appointment. My son has a different file separate from me and also had a different appointment date from me, but for some reason they used my text to cancel my son's appointment. This is a very dishonest business. I called to ask how much they charge people who pay cash (without insurance) for a cleaning, x-Ray and exam and they quoted me $140. I asked if there was a special for new patients. They told me new patients get a $20 Target gift card. So I made an appointment for my daughter. After she paid $140, I asked for the gift card. They said oh, the gift card is only for insurance patients, which is a lie. After I corrected them, they then said oh, we don't have any gift cards right now, but we'll call you tomorrow when we get them in. It's been 3 weeks now and I haven't heard from them yet. I was going to schedule 4 more appointments for myself, my husband and our two boys. But after my daughter's experience with them, I'll take my business somewhere else. I went to K & T Dental because I needed both an Endodontist and General Dentist to do a root canal and place a crown. K & T Dental was the only place in San Jose that provided both services. The office is very modern and clean looking. The front staff was amazing as they worked with my insurance asap to make sure my services were covered under my insurance.
