This is the tree trimming service that I've been looking for. Highly recommended the service for the following reasons: 1. The price: Reasonable and affordable price. 2. The work: They are professional. The work is done beautifully. I have them to open the canopies of my four oak trees to rescue my grass. I don't have to tell them much. I just showed to picture of how I'd like my trees trim. I'm very happy and pleased with the results. 3. The service: Great service: promptly respond to my request, show up on time, get the job done efficiently. Very glad that I found Ortiz Trimming Service. Will use them from now on. read more

Ortiz Tree Trimming - Example of one of my oak tree. They climbed on the tree to open the canopy. - Tree Services Near Me

I've used Ortiz Tree Trimming multiple times for my property over the years and they have always done a fantastic job. They have excellent communication, sent me pictures of what they were doing and responded quickly to any questions I had. They gave estimates quickly and have very competitive prices, but more importantly their quality of work is excellent. I would use them and recommend them to anyone needing tree trimming. read more

Highly recommend Ortiz for any tree trimming needs. We initially reached out to trim some trees touching our roof, but decided to use them to clean up several other trees. They were responsive, professional, and provided a fair quote. More importantly, they do quality work -- the team worked hard to complete the job and leave our yard cleaner than when they arrived. Our trees look great, thanks to Ortiz Team Trimming. read more

Responded quickly to an emergency situation with a big limb that had broken but hadn't fallen so was hanging over the roof & yard. Came out the next very next morning & got it down, making the yard once again safe for dogs & humans. And prevented roof damage to my new roof that's only 1 yr old. Highly recommend. :) read more

We moved into a new house and the trees had obviously not been tended to in a while. We had two separate tress that hung over the roof of the house, a huge red oak in the front yard that looked droopy and sad, and trees from our neighbors yard forcing their way over through the fence that looked messy and cluttered. Servando and his guys did an amazing job. They came out same day to get a quote and then back the next day to finish the job. They were incredibly affordable and it made a world of difference. I recommend 10/10. read more

They did an outstanding job on cutting my trees and also came out quickly being that I had large branches dangling over the roof. the crew also saw a few cuts that needed to be completed and I didn't even notice, possibly sparing my tree from the upcoming oak wilt season. I will definitely be contacting them again soon! read more

Fast response, very efficient and professional taking down a dead tree and trimming several others. Great price.

Great service! They came out the day I called to give a reasonable quote. They came back the next day to remove a tree that was leaning on the house. Very nice professional people. Highly recommend read more

Great experience with the team from Ortiz tree trimming. They were reliable and thorough in every aspect of the process from the initial consultation to the final day of work. They came on time and wouldn't take payment until I was satisfied with the end result. We are very pleased with the work (trees trimmed and canopy raised for a competitive price) and will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Fast response, came out and give an estimate on the same day, the next day my trees are trimmed/removed. They left the property clean. Highly recommended. read more

Super professional and came right on time. Best price quote I got from other companies. I had 11 trees that needed to be worked on and they completed everything in only 3-4 hours. Cleaned up after they left, leaving zero branches or debris. I will use their service again the next time my trees need to be trimmed. read more

So, turns out all of the 5 star reviews are true. I called Ortiz Tree Trimming (after going against my initial gut of contacting another "more-professional-sounding" company with similar reviews). Rang them and got an immediate answer. Set up time for an estimate, rescheduled, met at newly agreed upon time...great communication the whole way. Walk through and estimate (same day of first call) revealed that we needed 11 tree removals (dead, dying, problematic--including a large one in danger of falling on the house), ~20 trees in need of trimming and a good number of overgrown, misshapen, shrubs and bushes. We talked what could be expected, when work could start, disposal, etc., agreed upon a fair price for the immense body of work...and the rest was smooth sailing. Mr. Ortiz and his Team were in place Monday morning, for the two days of full work and kept at it until the job was complete AND we were happy with the results. Along the way, I was educated about tree types, replacements, and pitfalls. Overall experience and service was excellent. The property looks refreshed and is well on its way to being a head-turner again. Mr. Ortiz is friendly, fair and serious about providing quality work and service. I've found my go-to for tree services, which is so nice. If you're on the fence, just call them...do the walk through, get an estimate and see for yourself. read more

I found this company on Yelp and asked for a quote through the Yelp app. I received a quick response and met with Serbando to get a full quote. I problems. He did exactly what I asked for; was professional and gave me a very fair price. Will definitely use him again! read more

Great service. Very responsive. Did a nice job and left things clean. What more can you ask for.

They did an incredible job. They over communicated, were so fast, and followed up with pictures when they completed. I appreciated his guidance on which tree should be removed and which ones just needed trimming. Use them. They are terrific. I will definitely use them again. Thank you guys! read more

Serbando answered my quote request really fast, and was able to come out the same day. He and his crew were fast, professional, and thorough. They removed a big limb that had split and fallen over my neighbor's roof. Everything was cleaned up, & they blew all the sawdust off the roof. I would definitely recommend and I'll use again. read more

Excellent job at affordable price. Responsive and great work. Removed the waste and no mess

We needed to trim a couple of trees around our property, and Serbando and his team did a good job. It's a local family business, fast to respond, on time for the scheduled appointment, fair prices. Happy to write a review to support a small family business! read more

Ortiz Tree Trimming was fantastic! They gave me a great deal and were able to schedule me right away. When they had some unexpected truck trouble the day of the appointment they called immediately and were able to reschedule for the next day. Would definitely recommend! read more

Serbando Ortiz crew did a fantastic job on my very large trees (oaks, ash, pecan & bald cypress). His team did super work fulfilling all of my requirements I asked him to do: 1) he must have accident insurance in case they cut a limb and it falls and damages my roof (he showed me a copy of his current insurance and I actually took a picture of it with my phone and called his insurance company later and spoke to 2 different people there and they confirmed that he has insurance) 2) use ropes on all the big limbs cut over my roofs and let them down easy so they don't free fall and break my roofs (my last tree company just let the cut limbs fall and hit my roof and damaged it and I had to pay for the repairs) 3) remove all dead limbs on all my trees 4) remove all the ball moss 5) remove all the small new growth limbs and open up the canopy so my grass can get more light and grow again. Ortiz team were super good and very professional cleaning up all their cut limbs after each day's work. Ortiz did all he said he would do and I had no issues with his work or workers. He was prompt in always calling me back and we had to reschedule some days and he worked with me on this. I will call Ortiz to do my trees again and I am telling my neighbors about Ortiz after they see all the good work he did with my trees. read more

We had some dead trees from the freeze that needed removal and a number of large overgrown trees that needed trimming. It's a big yard and was going to be a lot of work. I took bids from a couple of companies and, while they were comparable, Ortiz convinced me his crew would do a better job. He seemed reliable and a guy who knows his business. They are busy so it took a couple of weeks to get on the schedule but they did a fantastic job. They were incredibly professional and thorough and really wanted me satisfied with the work. These are the guys to call if you want the job done right, who will do the hard work of really getting into the tree canopies and raising them. The tree removal work was efficient as well. I could barely tell the trees had ever been there. I would definitely call them again. They have good reviews here for a reason. read more

Responsive and did a great job! Would highly recommend. We would also work with them again for any needs we have in the future.

Thorough and efficient. Trees and shrubs trimming done to our specifications. Cleaned up thoroughly. Competitively priced.

We received a few quotes to cut some invasive chinaberry trees and many dead trees from the snowstorm and selected on Ortiz. The entire team did an amazing job and cleanup. I would recommend them without hesitation for any assistance. read more

Ortiz trimmed our live oak that needed a lot of dead branches cut back due to last year's winter storm. The rate was very reasonable and was actually the best I was qouted. We were able to schedule for the following week and the guys did a great job. I'd definitely hire Ortiz again for tree services. read more

Very quick to respond and very reasonable with pricing. Super easy to work with and they were very efficient. Did awesome working trimming a few tress around the house and cleaned everything afterwards as well! read more

Serbando and his team did a great job with the trees in my front yard. He was very communicative and was able to schedule around my needs. The service is fairly priced, and he and his team worked quickly. I definitely recommend. read more

Had a big job. 20 or so trees that needed trimming - mostly live oaks. Don't know for sure, but don't think previous homeowners trimmed the trees here for a while. Tons of ball moss to remove. Serbando and his crew did exactly what they said they were going to do and they did it in less time than they said it would take. Very professional and cleaned up completely. Trees look amazing now! And I feel safer after the guys got rid of the dead branches that were hanging over my yard and over my roof. Hope to not have to do such a big job for a few years at least, but would definitely call Ortiz Tree Trimming again in the future. read more

Our yard looks amazing and way better after Serbando and his team trimmed the branches around our roof, got rid of a huge overgrown bush/ivy plant hugging the side of our house, and helped us keep 3 feet clearance of plants around our house. The price was more than fair and they came and completed the work in 3-4 hours the same week they gave us a quote. Will definitely be calling them again for any other tree or land-clearing projects. read more

I researched around for tree removal service and OTT was the cheapest and was the one that actually offered to do MORE. One company I contacted prior to OTT wanted TWICE the money for less than what OTT was going to do. They contacted me right away after my inquiry and was at my house the same day to do a quote. Then they were at my house 2 days later removing a tree that had split and was hanging over my fence and neighbor's fence. They left my backyard looking immaculate and hauled away the tree. GREAT PRICE and AMAZING SERVICE! read more

Had an awesome experience with Ortiz Tree Trimming -- would HIGHLY recommend them and will be using their services again. The storms last week took quite some branches down in our backyard, a few of which were sitting on power/internet lines. We wanted to have it taken care of ASAP. Mr. Ortiz came out within a few hours of requesting an online quote. He was super easy to talk to and helpful in making suggestions about additional maintenance we needed to avoid future branches coming down. His pricing was very affordable and he agreed to come out the very next day. Of course, the next day, there were more rain storms, but Mr. Ortiz made sure to communicate with me first thing in the morning that he would not be able to come that day due to the rain. He was very quick to respond about rescheduling and ended up coming out the following day. When Mr. Ortiz came out, he realized that the new rains had brought one other branch. We were able to quickly negotiate the removal of that additional branch, as well as some other debris we had in our backyard. Mr. Ortiz and his crew completed the work in about 2 hours, and did a fantastic job. If you are looking for someone reliable, quick, and affordable, Ortiz Tree Trimming is the way to go! read more

These guys are on it! They responded to my request for info within 15 minutes, came out a couple hours later to provide a free quote, walked the yard with me and helped me decide what all needed to be done (this is our first year in Texas so I am totally unfamiliar with what needed what), then provided me a fantastic quote. We scheduled for a Friday, but he texted me Wednesday night and asked if we wanted to get it done sooner on Thursday as he had a cancellation. They arrived at 8am and worked straight through to 4pm getting the entire job done and cleaned up. About 10 trees in all that were taken back from roof and from street/sidewalk and a big oak tree that needed serious branches removed. Highly recommend these guys. read more

I called Ortiz Tree Trimming on Friday morning. We needed to remove a tall ash tree that was mostly dead from old age and recent freezes and was dropping limbs, potentially onto the sidewalk and a school crossing. Serbando arrived at the appointed time on Friday. He quoted me a good price on removing the tree and asked if I wanted the stump and surface roots ground up. I told him I didn't think I could afford that, but the price he quoted on grinding up the new stump AND the old stump left nearby (from the tree we had cut down by another service last year) was very reasonable. He came out with his crew the following Monday as agreed, which was early this morning, and got everything nicely done and cleaned up in a couple of hours. Great job, great price. read more

I needed some clearing so that I could have my new fence installed. The price was reasonable and I appreciated the honest quote and suggestion that for my purposes, I did not need to spend the extra money to have the stumps ground out. I had a very (VERRRRY) tall tree to remove and an another stump to be cut to the ground. In addition to this area, they also trimmed my my big oak tree. The work was great, price reasonable, and they really cleaned up after- I've had so many people leave a mess, but this was great. I will definitely use them again- I have a few large and/or very tall trees on my property that are always needing maintenance. Thanks again!! read more

Very impressed with Ortiz Tree Trimming! Serbando responded quickly to my call and came out the same evening to give me an estimate for trimming trees on my rental property. Due to all the wonderful reviews and his knowledge of trees I hired him for the next day. He arrived promptly and took great care trimming the trees and sealing the oaks. At the last minute I asked if he could do the gutters too and he cheerfully added that job. He thoroughly cleaned up the yard when he finished work. The trees look great and the gutters are clean! I will definitely use Ortiz Tree Trimming again! read more
