I was assured by the person setting up the appointment that the charge would be reversed immediately upon my ontime arrival. It was not. After 3 attempts over several weeks, I gave up and filed a dispute with my credit card provider. In the scheme of things, this was a small matter but it was a trust betrayed. We were told it would get refunded when we showed up to the appointment. Afterwards, we decided to look closer to home (Lake Oswega is 1.5 hours from us). We called Nuvia more than 72 hours prior to the appointment to cancel. Then we were told we wouldn't get the $89 refunded with a cancellation. Be careful with this place. If you make a deposit for an appointment, cancelling the appointment, even in a timely manner, forfeits your deposit. In my opinion, an unethical business practice.

My daughter needed a tooth extracted and E&B for her braces, and she was terrified. We did a consultation with Dr. Mann, and they made her feel completely comfortable. They let her pick the music, and she was done before she knew it. Today is one week after the procedure and they just called to check in. We have no complaints at all and my daughter is recovering nicely. We are patients for life!! Thank you for taking such good care of my baby =) We HIGHLY recommend Cascade Oral & Facial Surgery.

Last year his office merged with Dr Sessions bc Sessions is retiring so Dischinger office is twice as busy accommodating all of Sessions patients too-- it is impossible to get appt times before or after school, he has a 3rd orthodontist who sees many of his patients instead of him for check ups (which wasn't approved or discussed with me before this started happening), and he only uses "Spark" aligners bc he is paid by that company to push that product. There are also like 10 patient chairs in the 1 treatment area they have, practically on top of each other with no division between the chairs...so you have no privacy when you are getting treatment, and you hear everyone else's personal health information and treatments, which made me very uncomfortable. The docs hop from chair to chair and spend as little time as possible with patients, it's run like an assembly line. It's a shame bc I like the support staff that work there, but the office has gone really down hill in the last year since the merger.

It was a huge transition, and i was in the middle of a big tooth procedure. As i was trying to figure out where to go to complete this implant, I remembered him, and his calm demeanor, even after all this time. I tend to run high anxiety and have lots of questions. i found Dr Williamson easy to communicate with, he kept me informed of the process. He was attentive, focused, and his touch was light.(a big deal for a dentist) i felt safe in his hands. He, his staff, and the front office staff, were efficient, organized, and easy to work with. With his help, I'm mercury-free and loving how solid and well-shaped my crowns are. I've really appreciated how informative Dr. Williamson and his staff are -- they give you the facts straight and help you arrive at an informed decision that will best serve your needs. Not once have I seen dollar signs in their eyes or sensed any impatience with my desire to understand my dental decisions. This is not a low-cost option, and the office is a fair ways from Portland (albeit not a long trip by car if you avoid rush hour), but those who want the best need look no further. Office staff, hygienists, and assistants are all extremely professional and competent -- Dr. Williamson runs a tight ship, and it shows with every interaction. I really can't say enough good things about this office. I'm surprised that mine is the only review here, but I suppose Yelp is more geared toward restaurants and bars. Having come from dental hell (Hint: rhymes with "Pling"), this office has been an oasis of excellence, but I'd appreciate everything described here even without the high contrast. Worth every penny.

I have been going to Tualatin Modern Dentistry for over 2 years and while the initial experience…read morewas good, the recent visits and treatments have been far from satisfactory. I underwent dental implant treatment here, and the process was plagued by repeated scheduling issues, poor coordination, and what felt like a lack of preparation. My stage 2 procedure was rescheduled multiple times because the office did not have the correct parts and equipment ready. During one appointment, I was numbed by the surgeon only for the procedure to be halted because the necessary abutments were not available to him, despite the office having previously evaluated my case and having the correct parts in stock. The problems continued during the crown phase of treatment. Appointments were repeatedly rescheduled due to issues with the crown fabrication and other office-related delays. When the crown was finally placed, the procedure felt rushed and was significantly more painful than I expected. The crown fit was also not correct, requiring yet another appointment for adjustments. I was also disappointed that a cleaning was performed by an assistant rather than a hygienist without prior notice. The cleaning felt incomplete, and routine periodontal measurements that had been performed at previous visits were not done. The cumulative effect of these issues was a substantial amount of lost time, missed work, inconvenience, and frustration over many months. After documenting my concerns and requesting a partial refund due to the repeated office errors and treatment delays, my request was denied by the office manager. I understand that complications can happen in any healthcare setting. What matters is how those issues are handled. Unfortunately, my experience was that repeated mistakes occurred without meaningful accountability or resolution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office and will be transferring to a new dentist office.
