He and his team made each step of the healing process clearly understood and implemented flawlessly. He is a gifted surgeon and physician. My previous team of specialists within a previous healthcare system had written me off with "atypical pain." The broken tooth below the gumline became infected, the attempted root canal failed, the extraction of the tooth was barbaric at best (some of my jawbone was removed with it), then residual matter was left to "heal itself", unsuccessfully. The head of the department in oral surgery would not touch it. Dr. Dennis methodically and skillfully attended this complicated area. First, an accompanying tooth adjacent to the infected tooth area (#30) became infected and was extracted. Then he debrided the initial abandoned tooth space, grafted, then implanted a post for successful placement of a crown. Most importantly, the relentless deep pain from the tooth area resolved, I am pain free and now have a successful crown to use that side of my mouth again! Words cannot capture the feeling to relief and comfort after months of living with deep pain. Dr. Dennis has truly given me my life back.

My daughter needed a tooth extracted and E&B for her braces, and she was terrified. We did a consultation with Dr. Mann, and they made her feel completely comfortable. She was nervous before the procedure but knew she was in great hands. She did not feel a thing during the procedure and had a great time with Dr. Mann and the staff. They let her pick the music, and she was done before she knew it. Today is one week after the procedure and they just called to check in. We have no complaints at all and my daughter is recovering nicely. We are patients for life!! Thank you for taking such good care of my baby =) We HIGHLY recommend Cascade Oral & Facial Surgery.

It's obvious to this retired physician (me) that Doctor Ugalde is a superior surgeon and the cohesiveness and care provided by every person in his office is testimonial to the way his professionalism and humanity extend to everyone with whom he works. And then there's the way he CARES for his patients - even personally calling them the evening of the surgery to see how they are doing and answer questions. Dr. Ugalde and his team are far beyond 5 stars in every way. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

What a great experience in having these issues addressed. From making the appointment and having fillable forms emailed with a submit option started on the right note to easily get the details without filling out forms in their office. The staff was ready for me upon arrival. I arrived at 2:20 for a 2:30 appointment, was called in at 2:25, and was out the door with a completed extraction at 3:03, WOW! The receptionists were very personable, and the staff was no nonsense. Explained what would happen, started the procedure and finished quickly. No pain, Dr. Ugalde is pretty humorous, and extremely professional. He even called me at 8:09 that evening to confirm I was doing alright. Better than alright, not even needing ibuprofen, really no pain. I have zero apprehension for the rest of the procedure getting the implant completed with these folks. I highly recommend them for any service you may need from an oral surgeon, along with an example how every staff should interact with their customers. Only 5 stars available but I would give them a 10 on the experience.

Be careful - check your bill! Are they doing X-Rays that your referring dentist already did? They…read morecould have just had your dentist send over copies, but why do that when X-rays are a simple high margin business that that they can charge you for? But that is not even the main problem... I asked for a simple 5 minute meeting with the doctor to review the surgical procedure they wanted to perform on my daughter. I was not able to make the initial appointment. I wanted to see if it was absolutely necessary to do now or if it could be delayed for later when my daughter was out of school. The answer I got... "oh our Doctors don't do that - they can't take the time out of the day for a consultation." I found this very interesting considering that I come from a family of surgeons (have many friends that are surgeons) who would never take that approach with any of their patients. Not only is it a problem of liability, it is poor patient care. So then I asked for a copy of the X-ray so that I may get an independent consultation. They sent me a cheap paper copy of the X-ray (2 - 3 weeks after I had asked for it). Then, 3 months later they sent me a full bill for the X-ray they had taken - yet I still have no real copy of the X-ray. To top it off, when I called billing to enquire - the doctor who did the X-ray is no longer there! When I called the office to speak with the office manager in order to discuss getting the X-rays before I pay the bill - the receptionist tells me the office manager is not available - so I leave a message for her to call me. Does she call back? Nope! My medical friends and family are appalled by the way Columbia Oral has handled things - Columbia just lost a number of potential clients and their friends and families. When your too focused on the $$ and not enough on treating people right - it should start to catch up with you - in this case I hope it does. I am a business man, I would have written my bill off as a "bad debt" - Small amounts of money are not worth losing clients, time or reputation. They are too short sighted and self involved to see that. I recommend finding someone who takes seriously how they treat their patients. It is important to remember, it should be a privilege for them to serve you, not the other way around. These guys obviously believe it is a privilege for you to be seen by them! Be forewarned, when they smile real big and are super nice to you, that is when you cover your wallet!

My initial visit with Dr. Sullivan was straight-forward and all bases were covered. I felt safe and prepared for the extraction by the time I scheduled the surgery. They were able to fit me in just two days after my consultation, a turnaround that really surprised me. The procedure itself (with anesthesia) was really efficient and (from what I can tell) perfectly executed. There were absolutely no surprises, and I'm healing really well. The care was exceptional and the cost was better than fair. I will certainly recommend Dr. Sullivan and Columbia Oral to friends and family.

Procedure- Just had…read moremy wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Tenhulzen,, nothing but praise. I only needed my two upper teeth removed, so the procedure was on the less intense side of wisdom teeth extractions. Appointment was at 10:40, procedure lasted 20 minutes, 30 mins to come out of anesthesia and I was out getting a milkshake by noon. Tenhulzen and staff were quick, no-nonsense operators with a high degree of professionalism. Their wisdom teeth experience was evident with how efficient the entire procedure was, I'm not the kind of person to get caught up on sappy bedside manner, so I appreciated how very little time was wasted. In, out and on with life. Post-OP- I have very little pain or swelling, the post-operative instructions were clear and detailed. Slightly sore jaw but I've been able to eat soft foods with ease. Importantly to me is that I've been able to maintain a clear head with the drug regimen they prescribed, I'm now enjoying a very comfortable recovery.

They were quick and professional and knew how to handle my pre-surgery anxiety. Do not be strayed by his office which could use a little updating (decor is a little outdated), the skill and integrity of this doctor is what you're really in there for! I was out of surgery quickly and had a pleasant weekend, despite being stuck in bed. Due to my sensitivity to anesthesia as a kid (nausea), he came up with a series of drugs for me to take instead of the regular four prescriptions, easing the experience even more. About three hours after surgery I received a surprise at my door from his office, totally unexpected and melted my heart. That evening the doctor himself called my phone at 7 pm to check in and see how I was doing--a doctor who will stay late on a friday to personally call his patients is a doctor dedicated to his practice. As for dry sockets, I did a lot of research on doctors in the area before my surgery because I was terrified of dry sockets. What I learned (in my experience) is they are the result of how you handle your aftercare. If you're walking around and over-exertering yourself after surgery you will disrupt the clots and that's why you get dry sockets, not because of the doctor. I stayed in bed, and did not have any issues.
